The government suspended links with the Muslim Council of Britain in 2009, for example. The group has been accused of sexism and endangering minority sects by deeming them apostates and having links to groups advocating killings.
“More and more groups over time have simply been seen as beyond the pale, often for something they said or did in the past, or were associated with or said in the past,” the Baroness blasted.
She said Muslims and groups who may have stated things “that could be seen as extremism today” are not currently offered a clear way to be deemed respectable again by the government.
Muslims who may have said perceivably extreme things in their “youth or heady days of activism” on issues including “politics, faith, women, minorities, homosexuality” were treated too harshly, she claimed.
“We’ve all made mistakes,” she told the Lords. “I’ve made mistakes.”
Warsi made the comments during a House of Lords debate on the government’s Counter-Terrorism and Border Security Bill, which will make it a crime to travel to terror-linked areas, among other measures.
It would also make it a criminal offence to view online content that is “likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism”.
Groups on both the political left and right have concerns about the bill, and its potential chilling effect on free speech online and the ability of academics and journalists to research terrorist activities…”

“If we take the public finances, we’re saying that lower skilled migration has probably been negative on the public finances because most of these workers are earning below a break-even salary at which taxes exceed benefits and public services that they consume,” added Manning.
Weighing up the pros and cons of low-skilled migration over the past decade, “there isn’t much on the positive side of the ledger” when looking at the facts of the influx, Manning said.
The professor’s appearance before the committee came after an MAC report last month, advising the government on developing a post-Brexit immigration system, said it was neither in the interests of UK workers nor the treasury to create routes for low-skilled migration once Britain leaves the EU.

According to the Swiss Federal Statistical Office, 1,039 foreign criminals were ordered to be deported from the country last year, with the largest number, 348, coming from the Balkans, 20 Minutes reports.
Africans made up 250 of those deported, 157 from North Africa and 93 from the Western African region. Nationals from European Union member states made up 279 of those deported, a fact which may violate the Schengen agreement which Switzerland is a signatory to.
The deportations make up only a fraction of the total number of foreign adults convicted of misdemeanours or felonies under the Swiss Criminal Code (SCC) in 2017.
According to the data, a total of 9,529 foreign nationals without work visas or permanent residency permits were convicted of felonies or misdemeanours in 2017, with the largest group of 1,340 coming from North Africa. The statistics also show that the majority of North Africans convicted, 705, were males aged 18 to 29 years old.
Since January of 2017, Switzerland adopted a law that gives courts the right to order the deportation of criminals for a range of serious crimes from murder to sexual assault or other serious acts of violence. The law allows judges to ban first-time criminals from Switzerland for up to 15 years but also allows lifetime entry bans for those who offend repeatedly.
Deportations to North Africa and other regions of the continent have been difficult for several European countries including Germany where tens of thousands of deportations failed last year due to a large number of migrants simply disappearing while in other cases migrants had been given medical certificates or in rare instances, airline pilots refused to fly them home.

The U.S. Supreme Court will allow a North Dakota law requiring voters to produce government ID with a current residential street address when casting ballots to take effect.
The decision, which came Tuesday and drew a brief dissent, will affect one of November’s most critical Senate races.
A group of American Indians challenged the residential street address requirement, arguing that it imposes “impossible and severe burdens on the franchise for Native American voters,” as many live on reservations or otherwise lack ordinary street addresses. A federal judge agreed and prohibited the law.
The 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals lifted that order, so the plaintiffs appealed to the Supreme Court, asking the justices to restore the injunction.

“Fifteen far-left anarchists from Italy and France were removed from a church on the French-Italian border where they were believed to have sheltered and helped illegal immigrants.
The anarchists had occupied the church in the Italian border town of Claviere in the Susa valley since April and had been using the building as a shelter for migrants attempting to cross the border illegally from Italy into France, Il Giornale reports.
Italian Carabinieri raided the church and forcibly evicted the far-left activists earlier this week and also found two illegal migrants who were sheltering in the church.
The eviction of the pro-mass migration activists comes months after parish priest Angelo Bettoni had complained about the occupation of the church and filed a formal complaint. The process was sped up by the Interior Ministry which recently set its sights on clearing out illegally occupied buildings under a new decree from populist Interior Minister Matteo Salvini.
Franco Capra, mayor of Claviere, defended the police operation saying: “The eviction was necessary because the occupation was not good for migrants crossing the mountains, especially in winter it is dangerous.”…”

The latest in a long string of hate-crime hoaxes comes from Ohio, where a woman claimed she received death threats — only for police to discover she sent the threats to herself.
Anna Ayers, a journalism major and a member of the Student Senate at Ohio University, claimed she found two of the threatening notes — one of which contained a death threat — in her desk drawer at her office in the Student Senate Office. She said she also found a “hateful, harassing” message at her residence that used a derogatory term in reference to her being a member of the LGBT community, according to the student newspaper The Post Athens.

That’s what the two girls from Essex, England, did to a classmate over an eight-hour period March 4 and 5.
The British tabloid Daily Star chronicles the pair’s handiwork, which included forcing their victim (also a 16-year-old female) to snort a mixture of salt and tea, eat noodles soaked in urine, and lap up her own vomit. They also physically attacked her by pouring sugar in her ears and burning her with cigarettes.

Greece is a deeply divided country. It has two camps. One is the “institutional camp,” which is presented to the global community and the international press. The other is what can be called the “people’s camp,” which considers the existing political regime a “Corpus Separatum” — a separate entity.
The institutional camp consists of the corrupt political system, the oligarchs, the academic community and the media — all soldiers in an army of globalization and multiculturalism. It is a system that feeds on the Greek populace, and, for its political and economic survival, depends on a strategic alliance with the Islamic countries of the Persian Gulf.
The people’s camp, which the international community and media ignore, has a totally different view of — and strategic approach to — Greece’s geopolitical present and future. This is evident in the latest World Values Survey (WVS), in which Greece participated for the first time. The survey, conducted on a sample of 1,200 Greek households in September-October 2017, reveals that only 7% trust their country’s political parties; only 13% trust the government; only 14% trust the parliament; and only 18% trust the trade unions.
Greeks like unions that guarantee short work-weeks, lavish vacation breaks, and [extremely] early retirement. They don’t pay their taxes, yet bloat the bureaucracy with family. Corruption is consistently rewarded at the ballot-box.
When money for free stuff runs out, there’s always somebody else’s. Communist indoctrination has only aggravated an inherently flawed polity.
Hock your assets to the EU in exchange for serving Merkel as yes-man. Cozy up to petro-powers, let the greaseballs preach the religion of peace, and prove your gratitude by outdoing them in slander of the Jewish State.

How Democrat Rage is Destroying America

“Use the rage,” former Attorney General Eric Holder scream-tweeted. “Get people out to vote and be rid of these people.”
Had President Trump urged his supporters to channel their rage into politics, the quote would have been good for a week of sanctimonious media lectures about his destruction of democratic norms. Not to mention his dangerous divisiveness, the risk of violence and the high price of tea in Outer Mongolia.
But the media has neither the interest nor the inclination to even note Holder’s ‘rage’ tweet. It’s too busy preaching anger, fury and hatred to the same shrieking choir of maddened lefties screaming at the sky, having meltdowns on social media and clawing madly at the doors of the Supreme Court.
“We need to stay angry about Kavanaugh,” E.J. Dionne Jr. fulminates in the Washington Post. But that’s nothing compared to the New York Times where the old gray lady is frenziedly distempered all the time.
“Get Angry, and Get Involved,” an op-ed screeches. “Tears, Fury or Action: How Do You Express Anger?”, an op-ed from a few days before shrills. “Fury Is a Political Weapon And Women Need to Wield It,” a third howls. That’s a lot of anger from the megaphone of the privileged wealthy northeastern left.
There hasn’t been this much peevishness on Martha’s Vineyard since they raised the yacht docking fees.
The New York Times and the Washington Post are echoing Holder’s call for political anger. Rage will solve all of America’s problems. If the Democrats stay angry, they’ll take over the government and be truly ready to unleash their rage on “these people”. Otherwise known as the rest of the country.

The Dems have been pushing for a race/class war for a long time and think the time for that war has arrived. Despite the warnings from people who understand what is going to happen when the Dems get their way the left refuses to listen. They think that because we didn’t resort to violence during the many decades that they have been raping our rights from us that we will not resort to violence. The left is going to regret starting this war but this will not stop them from prolonging the war by providing moral and in come cases monetary support to the terror groups that will spring up as the left is defeated in their early attempts at open rebellion and targeted assassinations.
Everyone is thinking about the coming civil war as being like the 1861 – 1865 civil war, it won’t be instead of large bodies of men clashing on semi-formal battlefields it will be like the civil wars of the 1950s through the 1970s in South America. small units and assissination squads with random terror attacks thrown in.
One of the most accurate descriptions of the coming domestic conflict that I’ve seen is Matt Bracken’s, “When The Music Stops – How America’s Cities May Explode In Violence“. Some excerpts:

The issue of sexual assault has become the latest focus for the leaders of the increasingly radical Democratic party.
Make no mistake, sexual assault is a terrible crime that may prove to be life-altering for the victim of such crimes and for members of the victim’s family.
However, the question that must be asked, is whether or not the Democrats really care about preventing sexual assault or in simply exploiting this horrific crime for political purposes.
Consider how so-called “Sanctuary Cities” shield aliens from detection and apprehension by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agents including aliens who have been convicted of committing violent crimes that include sexual assault and rape that allow them to remain at large.
Sanctuary Cities are almost entirely the invention and creation of Democratic politicians.
While radical Democrats in the U.S. Senate desperately and viciously attacked Judge Kavanaugh for an alleged but utterly unsubstantiated sexual assault that purportedly occurred more than three decades ago, law enforcement officers on Long Island diligently went about their jobs to locate and apprehend an illegal alien from El Salvador, Ever Martinez Reyes (pictured above), an alleged violent rapist who is accused of raping a 36 year old woman on the lawn of her own house in Freeport, New York on September 28th of this year.

Brett Kavanaugh has been confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court but California’s Democrat governor Jerry Brown, also a Yale law alum, opposed President Trump’s pick. During the left’s smear tsunami, Brown told reporters, “There’s no doubt that he was a heavy drinker and he told the exact opposite statement. So his lies, I think, are relatively well-proved and I hope the FBI can figure that out.” As it happens, concern over heaving drinking is a new development for the California’s top Democrat.
Previous governor Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed as state finance director Ana Matosantos, who held only a BA in political science and feminist studies. In 2011, Sacramento police busted Matosantos for drunk driving, which from 2003 to 2012 claimed 10,327 lives in California. She took full responsibility for her “reckless and irresponsible” actions and offered to resign but incoming governor Brown declined the offer and kept the unqualified Matosantos on the job.
In late September, the California governor vetoed a senate bill that would have allowed “undocumented immigrants,” also known as illegal aliens, to serve on all state boards and commissions. Brown’s veto said existing law “which requires citizenship” for these forms of public service, “is the better path.” That judgement came a bit late.
