This was a clear case of self defense, what the courts say depends on how honest the Judges are but the Moslems are just taking advantage of the incident to create more problems for the French. The previous governments have refused to do anything to the point where only full scale activation of the military to seize control of the no go zones will do anything to end this problem and this action will touch off large scale guerrilla war in France.
The French foreign legion needs to be reconstituted and applied to the no go zones.
The Legion still exists and is used in Africa in what use to be French Colonies in sub shaharan Africa.
