The one distinction and at the same time non distinction, is that communists truly believe that all people are blank slates, and can be made into anything and all attributes of humanity are merely social constructs and therefore must be changed, while Nazis impute attributes to people based on race theory and that these things are fixed and immutable.
The solution to both groups to the problems they claim, both real and imagined, is a whole lot of killing. And the common enemy to both groups is the liberal.

This looks like the Spanish Civil War, 1936-39.
Close friends of the family were Civil War exiles. I knew the War from all their pictures and stories.
The exiles here were part of the legitimate government – the Republic – that was overthrown by Franco’s “nationalists”. They were normal, upper-class Spanish people. They were not Communists!
Maybe they were “liberal”?Franco had organized a coup from his base in the Canary Islands. The Republic was grateful for the massive infusion of resources from the Soviet Union. Volunteers came from all over the world to fend off the Fascists. No doubt they were hard-core Reds.
The people who stayed in Spain? Hitler was their Uncle Joe. They won because Mussolini and Hitler beat Stalin.
I became acquainted the “other side” – the victorious Francoists [fascists] in Spain. They came to identify with the regime. They told their own horror stories, showed me their scrapbooks. Aristocratic families paid to get their kids out of Franco’s prisons and resolved to STFU.
These were the people who helped save my family in Italy from deportation to concentration camp. Franco and Salazar had made a deal with Hitler and Mussolini: Sephardim could get exit visas from Italy to “come home”.

That means there were other people in the room. Most likely, some (if not all) of the White House press pool attended Trump’s speech. If their lack of applause truly indicated a “stunned silence”, then I might be able to (partially) forgive these media termites. However, we all know that’s not true. Personally, in my entire life, I have never heard such a rousing call to arms regarding Communist China’s institutionalized theft of intellectual property. It’s abundantly clear that nuanced dialogue and all other forms of regular “diplomacy”—with respect to North Korea—have been a farking miserable failure. This, even as Carter, Bush 1.0, Clinton, and 0bama all strenuously pretended (for decades) that “strategic patience”, “soft power”, and all the other forms of semi-liquid taurine fecal matter that have been passed off as “negotiations” were, somehow, making a micrometer of headway.
From all appearances, North Korea could teach master classes about taqiyya to Islam.
Along with disseminating classic “misinformation”, Communist regimes typically rival Houdini and David Copperfield when it comes to “misdirection” of audience attention. For far too long, Red China has successfully distracted America’s focus (or “foc-them”) away from Beijing’s daylight robbery of US intellectual property.
They have done this by flaunting a, supposedly, more threatening (NORK) entity under the noses of our collective security agencies as part of dragging across their paths one of the most magnificent (crimson) red herrings of all time.
As everyone here at Vlad Tepes Blog knows, I am not the world’s biggest admirer of Trump. That said, his taking Communist China to task for its economic warfare (cyber or otherwise)—and especially doing so as part of crowbarring Beijing into being a Prime Mover against North Korea—is pure brilliance.
Without making the least monetary threat (e.g., defaulting on US debt), Trump has not-so-subtly “thrown down the gauntlet” over what the Chicoms continually pretend is a minor affair. If North Korea is such small potatoes, then squashing Psycho Fat Boy like the vampire cockroach he is shouldn’t be much of a problem.
If Red China has (for whatever reason) become overly attached to their rabid widdle lapdog, then this sort of intolerable horse hocky merits putting a
price tagtoe tag on this screwball head-case. Preferably one attached to the hallux of Psycho Fat Boy after a bout of swift onset, high velocity, lead poisoning (a multiple dose, .50 caliber prescription would be ideal).China first got away with their actions because they were a card that we hoped we could play against the Soviet Union. I personally doubt that the Soviets ever worried too much about China switching to become a US ally but who knows they might have. Once any governments gets in the habit of giving another government a pass on some bad behavior it takes a major problem and a brave man to change the course of action towards the bad actor. There support of Kim (or Kimberly as the woman who runs Girls Just Wanna Have Guns likes to call him.) has become a habit because of their distrust of having a South Korean and US alliance on their border. Some useful idiots have broached the idea of our making a deal with China to let South Korea take the North and then the US pulls all of our weapons and support out of the South and leaving them at the non existent mercy of China.
I have grave doubts about China doing anything to stop Kim before he launches at Guam and know that any economic sanction we put on them will take time to work. If it ever works, the history of economic sanctions is littered with the failure of economic sanctions to achieve the desired goal.

3 – The difference between the Nazi, Fascists and Communists are of interest to history nuts and students of Political Science (it isn’t a science it is an art). As Yucki said to ordinary people they are all just death, they are also all coming for us because we don’t believe in big government doing all of our thinking and decision making. The first two will ally with us to fight the latter but will turn on us once in power. Our biggest problem is the Leftist in our own government that will scream when their communist thugs are lumped together with the Nazi and Fascist thugs.
Sadly as we fight the three Barbaric political philosophies we will end up turning more barbaric ourselves, this is partially because the left has managed to collapse civilization to a very large extent. Partially because we have let the left grab so much power some of the solutions to remove them from power are almost certainly are going to involve barbaric action on our parts. As we sink further into barbarism we must firmly hold onto the ideas of Individual Rights, Freedom, Small Government and hopefully the Rule of Law. The latter is very important because the further we get from the rule of law the weaker our grasp on freedom and individual rights will become. Having said that I can see several actions that are fairly barbaric and against the rule of law that we will probably be forced into.
Keep your musket clean and your powder dry and remember that if push comes to shove if you have a barbecue grill, charcoal, a hammer, something to use for an anvil, some rebar and a piece of concrete to use as a whetstone you have a knife that can be used to get a government issue firearm.
