Christians in Pakistan, Indonesia, Egypt, Sudan and other Muslim-dominated countries with significant Christian minorities have been the targets of brutal persecution, with the blasphemy laws often serving as the catalyst for their incarceration. Christians have been jailed, stoned, beheaded, and even had acid thrown in their faces for violating the blasphemy laws.

    I do not see a problem with Kim Jung who has a fixation on nuclear weapons having literature based on concepts, drawings, animations of such so long as no actual other nations are harmed in any of his acts in any way.

    I think it comes under freedom of speech, expression or cultural preference.

    Undefended nations cannot consent to nuclear obliteration. So it must remain a criminal act for countries to make the first strike. But if there is no victim and its only symbolic, where is the crime?

    If we assume that self defense is not a choice, and to a degree it is not and to a degree it is in some cases although I have no idea about Democide, then why criminalize things like nuclear weapons? Why not treat it as a sort of proxy solution rather than a crime?

    • This is a fallacy of false analogy. NORK’s actions speak to intent. It also speaks to an act so heinous that it cannot be undone in any way. The cost of the intended act is of a magnitude and scale that give it another category. Military, as opposed to law and order.

      If we are speaking about our own people in a justice sense, then you could, by virtue of your own false analogy, claim anyone with a kitchen knife is equivalent to NORK or Iran having nuclear weapons.
