Hamburg – Federal Police seized this equipment from a 20 year old “protester” Saturday afternoon. The second photo shows the leg injury a police officer sustained from a metal ball shot from a slingshot during the anti G20 “protests”. Another officer sustained a through-and-through-wound of the shoulder by such metal ball.
According to Police Hamburg’s statement on Facebook, they were under constant attack from slingshots, bricks and bottles.
The official count at midnight CET was 196 injured officers at the “protests” surrounding the G20 summit in Hamburg, the number should rise once it is updated. One officer sustained a fractured skull from an attack with an iron bar, another officer had to fire a warning shot in self defense.
There were 14 arrests and 63 temporary arrests made during the night from Friday to Saturday.
The most concerning aspect of all of this, of course, is, that it might be grist to the mills of the conservatives:

Sliong shots, either the shepherds sling used bay the Palistinians kids or the catapult type shown in the picture are lethal weapons, this fact needs to be published every time they are used by the left to deceive people into thinking the violent criminal protesters aren’t armed.

Not only in Germany . I take it that a certain social-democratic german minister with an inferiority-complex rivalled only by his compulsion to control information (sounds familiar , doesn’t it ?) has been busy with his toolkit ….

Ralf Stegner is the southern end of a northbound horse , if there ever was one in recent german politics ; a few female german politicians might qualify as well , but i don’t want to be rude . I damn well hope Stegner is right and that the right side of (not only) german politics will gain from the events in Hamburg . I can only say : watch and learn . The “peacefull” rioters won’t know what hit them once their own methods are being turned against themselves . In the USA the socalled antifascists are finally getting some resistance , i trust it will become much more and not limited to the States…..

Anyone who has been to Germany is well aware of how tidy and pristine that nation’s people prefer things. As in: “Alles in Ordnung!”
In fact Frankfurt’s reputation for “diversity” really hit home when I saw all of the graffiti that was, clearly, not a result of this latest civil unrest.
Deep in the German psyche there are subconscious buttons being pushed by these damaging riots and physical assaults upon law enforcement that no amount of restrictions on Social Media or others forms of self-expression will ever be able to fully suppress.
Sweden’s more northerly latitude may, indeed, sufficiently depress its population psychologically (e.g., Seasonally Affected Disorder) to where they can be cowed or dominated into the sort of submission that they currently display.
That said, it’s truly difficult to imagine that the German people will voluntarily abandon centuries of their orderly and civilized lifestyle in an attempt to appease criminal “immigrants” or pander to hordes of violently ill-mannered rioters.
Finally, here and elsewhere, questions have been raised about why American Conservatives (who oppose transnationalism) are unable to find common cause with the anti-global Leftists in Europe.
Missing from that query is a proper and vital distinction between Conservative opposition to one-world-rule as compared with Leftist objections about how the NWO isn’t their specific (i.e., preferred) brand of borderless government. There is, literally, a world (so to speak) of difference and the crony capitalist, predatory, elitist parasitism of the NWO types is merely a slightly different flavor than the Globalism that Leftists dampen their knickers about.
