The truth is as Erdogan has repeatedly said, islam is islam. Other muslim leaders down thru the ages have said the same thing, islam is islam and the goal is world domination. They have been saying the same thing for 1400+ years they make no excuses they don’t equivocate, their goal is the same as it has always been, conquest by all means necessary or possible, kill all non believers even those amongst their own sects. Why in hell will Western Civilization not believe the TRUTH repeated over and over again down thru the ages.
I am sure there are people who call themselves muslims only because their parents’ or grandparents’ are muslim who do not buy into the killing and want to live in a modern world free of most of the tenants of sharia. True muslims who read the quran, hadith et all and believe the words of allah thru mohammed & those who followed to be the only truth. They are honour bound to kill the infidels. There are some who are drawn to do the “wet work” hence the actual terrorists. There are others who believe but can not for what ever reasons do the killings but they support the terrorists in many other ways. They contribute to “muslim charities” that support terrorism. It is not as simple as it may seem. There are nearly a billion or more muslims so if only 10% are in favour of terrorism then the others are irrelevant if they do not fight it. As with any society/culture it is only the few that control the population. Even those who are not incline to terrorism find sharia seductive. It gives men great power, it excuses robbery, thief, torture, murder and rape if it is done to someone who does not agree with your version of islam.

Too right! The bulk of Islamic doctrine is sufficiently monolithic in its apocalyptic and triumphalist nature to where the rest is all just window dressing. Attempting to summon up “moderate Muslims” as a remedy is like bringing a squirt gun to a factory fire.

This ongoing timidity and deafening silence coming from Muslim populations everywhere around the world merely means that when serious retaliation begins, all Muslims—not just the jihadis—will collectively pay for Islamic terrorism, just as all Westerners have been collectively punished by the jihadists. The longer this world’s Muslim population remains silent and inactive, the less mercy that they will be shown.
