    https://www.rt.com/news/389624-islamists-arrested-berlin-obama/

“German police have detained four suspected Islamists during a raid in Berlin on Wednesday as the capital gears up for several mass events on the weekend, including a joint appearance by Chancellor Angela Merkel and former US president Barack Obama.

The early morning operation was aimed against a gang of armed drug traffickers, police said. A total of nine people were arrested in the raid, with four of those detained being members of a “violent Islamist” group, Reuters reported.

Thousands of extra visitors are expected in Berlin for the long weekend from May 25 to 28 as it hosts the national football cup final, the German Protestant Church Assembly – which commemorates the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation along with Obama’s visit…”

    • WND – TWITTER SUSPENDS WND FOR SETH RICH REPORT

Deactivates account over story about Donna Brazile’s involvement

Twitter, whose founder has expressed regret that his organization’s advocacy for free speech may have contributed to Donald Trump’s election as president, on Wednesday suspended for 12 hours WND.com’s account for a headline tweet on Donna Brazile’s involvement in the scandal developing over the death of DNC staffer Seth Rich.

Rich died in a gun attack in Washington, D.C., last July, and several individuals believe he was the source of DNC internal emails that were turned over to WikiLeaks and published on the Internet on the eve of the Democratic National Convention.

The tweet was: “Bombshell: Donna Brazile warned off private eye on Seth Rich murder…”

On Wednesday, Twitter sent a message instructing WND to delete the tweet. “If you feel that your account has been locked in error, you can appeal by contacting our support team here,” Twitter said.

Another message stated: “We’ve temporarily limited some of your account features.”

“What happened? We have determined that you have violated the Twitter Rules, so we’ve temporarily limited some of your account features. While in this state, you can still browse Twitter, but you’re limited to only sending Direct Messages to your followers – no tweets, retweets, or likes. Your account will be restored to full functionality in: 11 hours and 10 minutes.”[…]

    • The only disturbing issue contained in this video is that, somehow, medical professionals could be persuaded to ignore the needs of a terminally injured patient. As in, allowing Seth Rich to be denied emergency medical care in an ER facility.

Aside from America’s military soldiers, the US medical community retains one of the highest degrees of documented public trust. As in, well beyond that of bottom-feeders like lawyers, used-car salesmen, and [gasp!] politicians.

Any ability for those of compromised morals to pervert the vital role of health-care providers represents a significant departure from all historic levels of professionalism.

If things have gotten this bad (lest we forget the compromised autopsies of JFK and RFK*), then there is much to be concerned about.

  2. Failed hijack attempt on passenger plane
A passenger pulled a knife on a flight from Colombia today, forcing the plane to be diverted to a military base near Madrid, a spokeswoman for the Spanish airports authority AENA said.
The Avianca plane was bound for Madrid’s Barajas airport and was diverted to Torrejon air base. Spanish National Radio said it was escorted by two military jets.

“It was a plane bound for Barajas coming from Bogota which, for security, was diverted to Torrejon,” the AENA spokeswoman said. “Apparently a deranged passenger pulled out a knife.”

She did not know the type of plane or number of passengers on board.

  3. Redditor iLL_D’s father sent her a photo of an alleged hijack attempt on his United Airlines flight from Dulles International Airport in Virginia to Denver, Colorado, which she posted on Imgur last night. She began chronicling updates on a Reddit thread.

She explains: “This just happened, my father was on the plane and took this picture … [The attempted hijacker] was screaming and sprinting towards the cockpit. Several large passengers tackled him before he even reached the door.” You can see the actual footage in the YouTube video she uploaded below.

    • Several large passengers tackled him before he even reached the door.

Smart people. Too bad that they didn’t manage to “accidentally” snap the turd’s neck in the process of subduing this slimebag. I, for one, will happily bet that such “accidentally fatal injuries” will become much more frequent occurrences as governments continue to allow unrestricted “immigration” from Islamic hostile countries.

Of course, buried within layers of obfuscative reporting is this crucial fact:

Earlier, a government official with direct knowledge of the incident told CNN that the detained passenger had run toward the cockpit screaming “jihad, jihad.”

  4. http://dailycaller.com/2017/05/23/students-and-faculty-protesters-demand-punishment-of-college-republicans-group/

Student and faculty protesters rushed a college administration building Monday calling for the university to punish its College Republicans group.

Orange Coast College (OCC) faculty and students protested the school’s College Republicans chapter after the group published emails from OCC Professor Jessica Alabi to college president Dennis Harkins. The emails revealed the professor said she would “stand up” to the group, if the president did not, according to Campus Reform.

The materials also showed that Alabi stopped members of the group from attending a campus event because they were perceived as a threat to the “safe space.” The College Republicans want OCC to investigate the professor.

The protesters shouted “No hate, no KKK, no fascist USA” and “get that club out of our face.” Students held socialist flags and symbols or signs mocking the College Republicans.

P.S. – that’s how it was in Czechoslovakia immediately after WW2, as part of the process of turning the country into a socialist worker’s paradise….

  6. A Baltimore defense attorney was arrested Tuesday after he was recorded telling an alleged rape victim the Trump administration would deport her if she testified against his client, court documents said.

Christos Vasiliades, 38, was arrested Tuesday at the courthouse as his client’s rape trial was set to start, according to the Baltimore Sun. He is charged with multiple counts that include witness intimidation and obstruction of justice.

Vasiliades’ interpreter, Edgar Ivan Rodriguez, was also arrested, the Sun reported.

A 12-court indictment in the case alleges that Vasiliades was recorded trying to dissuade the woman who accused his client of rape from testifying at trial. He and Rodriguez are also accused of trying to bribe her with $3,000.

The recording allegedly captured the lawyer talking about the “current environment” for immigrants in the United States since President Trump’s inauguration.

Greece: George Soros’ Trojan Horse Against Europe

The Soros pattern, Greek edition: Provoke, take power, wreck stability, drag in the U.S. government — and its Obama holdovers.

One of the few fascinating things you learn by looking closely at George Soros’s output is how often he is wrong.

The financial Dark Lord, who made a billion dollars overnight when he bet against the British pound in 1992, constantly predicts the sky is falling. Most of the time, it isn’t.

He was mocked for exaggerating risks to the economic order in his 1998 book, The Crisis of Global Capitalism. Last year, he declared, “The EU is on the verge of collapse,” in a New York Review of Books interview. His end-of-year assessment for 2016 was: “Democracy is now in crisis.” At the global elite retreat in Davos, Switzerland, this year, he predicted Donald Trump’s inauguration would be bad news for the stock market.

No, no, nope, and wrong again.

Regarding Greece, Soros routinely anticipated disaster in the first years of its financial crisis.

  8. Lobbyists for Google, Facebook, and other websites are trying to stop the implementation of a proposed law that would strengthen consumer privacy protections online.

Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) last week proposed a bill that would require broadband providers and websites to obtain users’ opt-in consent before they use Web browsing history and application usage history for advertising and other purposes or before they share that information with other entities. The rule in Blackburn’s “BROWSER Act” would be similar to one that was scheduled to be applied to ISPs later this year until Republicans in Congress and President Donald Trump took action to stop it from being implemented.

President Trump delivers final blow to Web browsing privacy rules
Currently, websites must let visitors opt out of the use and sharing of browsing history, but they don’t need to obtain opt-in consent before using browsing history to deliver targeted ads. ISPs face no such rules at the moment, but Blackburn’s bill would apply the stricter opt-in standard to both websites and broadband providers.

  9. Remember When Obama Gifted U.S. Intelligence to Cuban Spies?
    Where was the media outcry?
    May 24, 2017
    Humberto Fontova

The deepest and most damaging penetration of the U.S. Defense Department by an enemy agent in recent history was pulled off by a spy working for the terror-sponsoring, drug-smuggling Castro regime.

The spy’s name is Ana Belen Montes, known as “Castro’s Queen Jewel” in the intelligence community. In 2002 she was convicted of the same crimes as Ethel and Julius Rosenberg and today she serves a 25-year sentence in Federal prison. Only a plea bargain spared her from sizzling in the electric chair like the Rosenbergs.

Promptly upon Montes’ conviction a Cuban spy named Gustavo Machin, who worked under diplomatic cover in Washington D.C. (and thus enjoyed “diplomatic immunity”) along with 14 of his KGB-trained Cuban colleagues, were all booted from the U.S.

As normal in these cases, the FBI and Defense Intelligence Agency were carefully circumspect in describing the cause for Gustavo Machin’s expulsion from the U.S. But given that it came shortly after Ana Montes’ conviction and sentencing—and especially as her escape from the Rosenberg’s fate stemmed from her cooperating with prosecutors (singing)—given these circumstances it’s pretty much a slam-dunk that Machin was her accomplice in espionage. Hence his prompt expulsion.

  10. 2017 Has Seen a Terror Attack Attempted in Europe Every Nine Days

Europe, the United Kingdom, and Russia have witnessed terror attacks or attempted attacks every nine days in 2017 on average, analysis of security incidents has revealed.

Since January, around 45 people have been killed by mostly Islamic terrorists, while hundreds have been injured. The only known incident not linked to jihadism in 2017 was the attack on the Borussia Dortmund soccer team by a Russian-German national attempting to profit from short-selling stock in the company.

  11. REPORT: Leakers Found Inside White House, Trump Will Be Firing

Trey Yingst, chief White House correspondent for the One America News Network, is reporting Monday that three sources of the leaks liberally flowing from President Donald Trump’s White House have been found.

According to Yingst, three staffers have been identified and referred to the Office of Government Ethics for their role in leaking information from within the White House. Leaks to the mainstream press have constantly plagued the Trump administration in its early days, with opportunely time leaks undermining key administration efforts.

Yingst claims his source informed him President Trump will fire “multiple people” on his return to Washington from his landmark foreign tour through the Middle East. It was implied criminal prosecution may also be on the table for those responsible.

  12. U.S. warship sails within 12 miles of China-claimed reef

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A U.S. Navy warship sailed within 12 nautical miles of an artificial island built up by China, U.S. officials said on Wednesday, the first such challenge to Beijing under U.S. President Donald Trump.

The officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the USS Dewey was traveling close to the Mischief Reef in the Spratly Islands, among a string islets, reefs and shoals over which China has territorial disputes with its neighbors.

The so-called “freedom of navigation operation” comes at a time when Trump is seeking China’s cooperation to rein in ally North Korea’s nuclear and missile programs.

The move, the latest attempt to counter what Washington sees as Beijing’s efforts to limit freedom of navigation in the strategic waters, is likely to anger China.

Under the previous administration, the U.S. Navy conducted such voyages through the South China Sea. The last such operation was carried out in October, approved by then-President Barack Obama.

    30

Hillary Clinton’s former campaign chief John Podesta attacked the First Amendment rights of the free press as he continued to spin his conspiracy theory of Russia colluding with American news websites to damage Democrats.

During a conversation with the Washington Post’s Karen Tumulty, he cited the “participation and the support of the alt-right media,” naming “guys like Sean Hannity” and “disgusting” Newt Gingrich for helping spread “fake news” to hurt Democrats. He specifically criticized Hannity and Gingrich for asking questions about DNC staffer Seth Rich’s murder and whether or not it had a connection with Wikileaks.

Podesta explained that it was one more example of how the Russians were “very active in propagating and distributing fake news, working with these alt-right sites in conjunction with them.” He also cited an “echo system” created by the Russians that raised the social media profile of articles that were damaging to Democrats.

He pointed out that “legitimate sites” like the Washington Post and the New York Times suffered, as other “alt-right” websites got more traction during the election.

  14. German federal govt spent €20 billion on refugees in 2016: report (thelocal, May 24, 2017)
    https://www.thelocal.de/20170524/germany-spends-20-billion-euros-on-refugees-in-2016

“The combined amount spent on the refugee crisis by the federal government totalled over €20 billion in 2016. Over half of the money was spent abroad aiming to stop the flow of migrants making the journey to Europe.

The total spend of €20 billion was about 0.6 percent of its GDP, according to a government report seen by the Rheinische Post.

The money was split between domestic and foreign programmes, with the federal states receiving €9.3 billion, and €11 billion going to operations abroad aimed at fighting forced migration.

“The number of new arrivals coming from Turkey to Greece has drastically sunk in the last year,” said Peter Altmaier, Angela Merkel’s chief of staff and coordinator of Germany’s response to the migrant crisis, in an interview with the Rheinische Post.

“It also seems as though the rate of the influx of migrants on the Libya-to-Italy route is falling rather than going up,” he continued. “It looks like our commitment to improving the situation in Libya, Mali, and Niger is paying off.”

In 2016, German troops were based in Mali and Turkey, among other places, to fight Islamic extremism, and to break apart the networks of human traffickers.

“The army has achieved a great deal with its foreign operations, including in the refugee crisis,” Altmaier said.

Over a quarter of the total amount of money spent, €5.5 billion, went to refugees who haven’t yet been formally recognized.

Roughly €2 billion was spent on an integration plan for new migrants entering the country. Meanwhile €400 million was spent across Germany on shelter for immigrants, while €350 million was spent on unaccompanied minors.

The document published by the government also outlined the amount of money each federal state was allocated. North Rhine-Westphalia received the most – €1.2 billion, followed by Bavaria which was given €860 million, and Baden-Württemberg receiving €728 million.

The total spend in Germany on refugees is much higher, as the federal government only bore 20 percent of the costs, as set out by a deal with the states in 2015.”

  18. US contemplates sanctions against Qatar (gulfnews, May 24, 2017)
    http://gulfnews.com/news/gulf/qatar/us-contemplates-sanctions-against-qatar-1.2032709

“Dubai: Qatar came under the tough scrutiny of US officials at a conference in Washington DC this week.

A conference on Tuesday entitled: “Qatar and the Muslim Brotherhood’s Global Affiliates: New US Administration Considers New Policies” by the Foundation for the Defence of Democracies with the Hudson Institute and The George Washington University’s Centre for Cyber & Homeland Security featured a discussion with Robert Gates, former Secretary of Defense (2006-2011) and Ed Royce, Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chair.

“If Qatar is supporting Hamas, then we are talking about sanctions against Qatar,” Royce said at the conference.

“I think we are moving on legislation that addresses those states who don’t keep their commitment with respect to changing behaviour supporting organisations that are sowing terror. This becomes the acid test.”

On his part, Gates, using the context of science fiction, compared the Muslim Brotherhood to shapeshifters.

“They will look like whatever they think you want them to look like,” he said.

Senior US officials toned down their visits in the late 2000s due to its displeasure with Qatar over perceived support to American adversaries and Al Jazeera’s agenda against US troops, Gates pointed out.

“There was broader concern about Al Jazeera providing a platform for terrorists and for the most militant kinds of people. They would glorify the killing of American troops, and they were funding groups that we regarded as problematic. So there were lots of issues associated with Qatar,” he said.

The former senior official said that when he discussed the issues with Qatari leaders, “there was a good deal of nodding and explanations, but we did not see much change. We have had a peculiar relationship with Qatar.”

Qatar has been for years the home of scores of Islamist dissidents and militants who fled their country and opted to live in Doha where they were given numerous facilities and much freedom.
However, their presence has irked Qatar’s fellow Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries – Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

The countries have repeatedly conveyed their displeasure about hosting Muslim Brotherhood leaders and expressed their wishes that Doha put an end to its support.

In 2014, frustration reached unprecedented levels as Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the UAE pulled out their ambassadors to Qatar and kept them away for eight months until Doha toned down its support.

Tension with the US was mainly related to Qatar’s support for Hamas and while the situation was manageable, for various reasons, with the Obama Administration, the issue is no longer possible with Donald Trump as president amid growing concerns that Qatar is involved in terror financing, providing support material for terrorism and hosting radical clerics.

With the insistence of the Trump administration to call the Muslim Brotherhood “radical” and to take an aim at any group considered a terror threat, the friction in the relations between Doha and Washington will deepen and Qatar is most likely to come under unbearable pressure, he predicted.
The pressure will be compiled by a greater insistence of Gulf countries to push for a Muslim Brotherhood-free GCC.”
