As we saw in High River, the RCMP appear to sometimes be a political instrument of totalitarian leftism, rather than an instrument of enforcement of rule of law.

It defies all credulity that the constabulary would actively encourage a mother with three children to admit a trio of strange young men (regardless of skin color) into her home during the dark hours of early morning. This goes double in light of the fact that her husband was not home at the time.
I’d be extremely curious as to how local police and dispatchers would reply if asked whether or not they would do the same thing under such circumstances (i.e., admit strangers into their homes). The traditional police slogan of, “To Protect and Serve” now must be followed by one important word, “Whom?”
This modern epidemic of virtue signaling has “unhappy ending” written all over it. As is too often the case, these signalers cause far more harm upon those around them than they do to themselves. Clearly, that ratio will need to be sharply inverted as part of deterring their disingenuous behavior.
