When they ask me at the supermarket if I want to make a donation to the food bank and I’m not in the mood, which honestly is most of the time, I just answer a straight-up NO. It’s quite hard to do. I notice that most proffer some vague excuse. I suspect that some even avoid shopping in that supermarket… not the smartest move for them to do from a customer-retention PoV, come to think of it.
But what I’m getting at is that it’s hard, but necessary, not to be a total hypocrite. These French winners fail 100%.
None of the people wanted to take a refugee in but all were afraid of being called racist.
