A North Korean defector who witnessed her first public execution aged just seven is convinced despot Kim Jong-Un would launch nuclear weapons against its enemies as a ‘last stand’.
Hyeonseo Lee, who escaped in a daring mission through China, says the despotic leader would ‘certainly’ launch his deadly arsenal if he faced defeat at the hands of the US.
‘At the very last minute, when he finds out that he’s going to lose all his power he’s definitely going to use it,’ she told MailOnline in a fascinating interview highlighting what life is really like inside the secretive state.
‘There’s a slogan in North Korea which goes: ‘America dies, we die, we all die together’.

Bloomberg: Trump Mulls U.S. Military Options for North Korea, All Grim
(Video of Pence being clear on alliances and issues concerning the North Korean regime and sounding quite sombre at link)
Three weeks before becoming president, Donald Trump weighed in on the threat of North Korea developing a nuclear warhead capable of reaching the U.S.: “It won’t happen,” he vowed on Twitter.
Now planners are contemplating what a U.S. strike to prevent that development might look like, and the options are grim.
Please post any new materials on North Korea at this post’s comments unless a significant development takes place, in which case we start a new post or go out for iodine.
The people who say we have at least 3 years before Kim can reach us are ignoring what Mauro said, Iran and NORK are in this together (with China backing both) if NORK has nukes Iran has nukes, if Iran has a working ICBM NORK has a working ICBM. That is the only safe way to think. We an fight them now before they are ready for the war or we can wait until they decide the time is right and attack. There are risks either way but in my opinion waiting is probably the most dangerous, however as they said we don’t have to decide now unless NORK shows signs on going ahead with a nuclear test.
No point in postponing the unavoidable. It will only get worse as time goes by.
Some way must be found to get North Korea’s top brass to
renderliquidate Fat Boy on their own. I sincerely doubt that all of them are willing to be incinerated as part of this psycho midget’s nuclear fantasies. That would be nice.
The Propaganda Media have been trolled by their leakers with the false report that the Carl Vinson was steaming at flank speed to Korea. VP Mike Pence yesterday gave a speech in Japan, it was on the USS Ronald Reagan. Unless we are expecting war with China and Russia why send another carrier to that region?
A search at STRATFOR, which usually tracks movements of carrier groups, shows nothing newer than 2012

Several years ago when NK did their last crazy by shooting a SK ship and lobbing missiles at a SK island, I had a son working there. He lived on the eastern coast about 2/3rds of the way down from NK. Interestingly enough, there was an American Marine base on the shore of the city. I told him if hostilities erupt he was to grab his passport and run to the marine base.
At the same time, I had another son in the US Navy. He was in the Atlantic theatre but, he assured me that the US could flatten NK in a minute if they chose to. I was very concerned that a SK ship had been sunk and things would escalate.
Just the other day I heard a guy on talk radio who claimed he served 3 tours on the DMZ say that everyone would be slaughtered in 11 minutes. That the fire power NK has at the DMZ is fearsome and can reach into Soule. So, this is not a little problem, it’s a big problem.
Glad your kids are outta there now, Babs.
