A 31 year old man entered the police station on Tuesday at the street of the bulwark Saint-Etienne in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne) and assaulted a police officer.
According to “La Dépêche du Midi” revealing information, the individual would have first tried to grab the service firearm of a security assistant, in vain. He then took out a knife and struck the officer in the throat.
Reportedly, the victim was born in 1995 and was transported to the emergency. His condition is still unknown.
The attacker was overpowered and allegedly suffered from some psychiatric disorders. Also according to information from “La Dépêche” he would have attacked the police officer “because he represents France.”

Claiming to be filing a complaint, a man broke into the police station Rempart Saint-Etienne on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m., where he tried to grab the service firearm from a police officer, security deputy.
When he wasn’t successful, he took out a knife and struck the officer in the throat. The attacker was overpowered and transferred to the central police station.
