BBC: Deadly blast hit Pakistan churches in Lahore

Two bomb blasts have killed at least 10 people near two churches in a Christian neighbourhood of the Pakistani city of Lahore, local officials say.

At least 50 people were reportedly hurt in the explosions at the Catholic church and Christ Church in the city’s Youhanabad area.

Violent protests erupted after the blasts, with large crowds already in the area to attend Sunday mass.

LAHORE, Pakistan, March 15 (Reuters) – Bombs outside two churches in the Pakistani city of Lahore killed 10 people and wounded more than 55 during Sunday services, rescue workers said, and witnesses said quick action by a security guard prevented many more deaths.

A Pakistani Taliban splinter group claimed responsibility.

The blasts went off minutes apart in a majority Christian suburb of the eastern city. Police said it seemed they targeted two churches, one Catholic and one Protestant, that are very close to each other.

  1. Pakistani Muslims – the very lot that have been raping tens of thousands of young girls in Britain.

Thank you Labour for enriching the UK.

    • The next time the Pakistan Muslim community in Britain bleats about their situation in the UK we need to remind them of what their own kinfolk back in the old ancestral homeland are doing to Christians. I do not recall any Pakistani Muslim areas having firebombings, children kidnapped and raped, or mosques bombed. They will always play the victim, whilst being (or at least supporting) the perpetrators of Muslim violence against other religious groups. It will all start here soon enough, when they are numerically stronger.

  2. The mainstream media thinks that by downplaying Muslim terrorism they reduce the chances of the rest of us getting so angry that we turn into a howling Islamophobic mob – thus they are encouraging peace and community cohesion etc. Unfortunately, what they are achieving is to keep us so sedated that we don’t react at all, thus encouraging Muslim terrorism all the more.

Anywhere there’s a man with a big beard teaching young men to fight Jihad in the cause of Allah, there needs to be a phone call to the police and a swift appointment with the gallows for the big-bearded man. We need the public to get mad before we can expect them to help defeat the Muslim terrorists, so please, mainstream media, make a big deal of this stuff and stop trying to keep a lid on it all the time. These guys need to be stopped – now!

    • I agree, bring back the Treason Act (strangely repealed by one traitorous Anthony Blair in the last year or so before he resigned) and use it freely with those proven guilty of advocating/urging terror/sedition or mass killing. Anjem Choudry would have been dancing at the end of a rope long ago if we had the balls to bring the act back.

      • That would be nice but the internationalist left has worked too hard to destroy the concept of treason for this act to be brought back peacefully.

  3. DAILY MAIL – IRAQ – Islamic State militants ‘caught cross-dressing in attempt to flee battlefield unhindered’

Men tried to escape northern Iraq in dresses and make-up, Iraqi forces said
Pictures posted on Instagram account that also had photos of corpses
Women and girls are not allowed to fight under Sharia law

Islamic State fighters are shaving off their beards and dressing as women in a bid to escape from battle, Iraqi forces have claimed.

A series of pictures have emerged showing men who have reportedly been caught trying to escape from northern Iraq wearing dresses, bras and make-up.

The photographs, posted on Instagram, show authorities appearing to pull back burkas to reveal young boys and even men with moustaches.

In one a scared teenager wearing pink eyeshadow is held by the throat as an official takes a picture. It is not known when the photograph was originally taken.

The account also carries images of dead fighters, the Sunday Mirror reported.

Under Sharia law, which ISIS partially adheres to, women are prevented from fighting.

Jihadists are believed to be terrified of being killed by a female because they think it will stop them getting their 72 virgins in heaven.
