Already several nations are trying to protect themselves from Islam while simultaneously claiming that Islam is peace and having a preposterous number of welfare sucking, sharia demanding, terror planning muslims in our midsts is a wonderful enriching thing for which we all should be grateful and pay a large sum out of our various incomes for the privilege.

But that turns out to be the least of the problems. The methods we are creating to protect ourselves are every bit as totalitarian as the demands the muslims make, and are being granted, on our societies. We may end up with the worst of both worlds. A sharia compliant society with Western style totalitarian laws.

Example 1: Many states are passing anti burka laws. I have written extensively and frequently on why this is a horrible idea. In summary though, you dont preserve freedom by passing laws against women’s clothing. if you are gonna do that, at least start with Miley Cyrus. The way to solve that problem is give people back the freedom to discriminate against people covering thier faces in their own businesses and homes and enforce existing laws against wearing a disguise in public. Hey presto! You have solved the burka problem with zero new laws, and actually by getting rid of some bad ones.

Example 2: Rescinding the right of exit.

Our governments seem determined to deny muslims the right to leave to go fight for whatever they want wherever they want. The right of exit is a defining characteristic of Western democracy. I do not care WHY a person wants to leave we have no damn right to stop them. Reagan did not even stop Americans from leaving the US to go join the Soviet Union, even if they were high level scientists or valuable assets. But for damn sure the Soviets would not let them leave once the defectors realized they had made a horrible mistake and there was a solid chance the US would not let them back in or jail them if they did. Fair enough. But you must not stop them from leaving.

And now this.

I am so shocked and horrified by this new law in Sweden that about half of me doesn’t even believe its true. I really and truly hope it is not. Imagine each and every one of you, not in Sweden, that your government passed a law criminalizing criticism of a main government policy. How could you possibly call yourselves a democracy? If one may not talk about how the government is handling the economy, what makes each and everyone’s lives work, or call a talk show and speak about foreign policy, how your nation is dealing with the world at large, or most important, immigration, how your government is determining the very future of your entire culture as well as the rules, laws and climate for your children etc. then you live in a totalitarian state. So surely this last example cannot be true. Someone who reads this site from Scandinavia or is familiar with this situation please tell me this article is a hoax and the site it is from is hysterical conspiracy theory nonsense.

  3. To a leftist, talking about immigration or gay marriage or anything politically incorrect, is the same as dressing up in an Adolf Hitler costume and shouting, “Sieg Heil!”, through a megaphone. A KGB agent once explained to me that the Soviet perspective was that they were the anti-fascists, and that Germany and Britain and the USA were the fascists. and that the Soviets were the ones who were quite innocently trying to make the world, “safe for democracy”. You could have knocked me down with a feather…

    With that in mind, it makes perfect sense for a communist Swede to pass a law banning, “right wing”, discussions about immigration and gay marriage and feminism and public-sector unions, on the assumption that such discussions are intrinsically fascist in nature. It is that conflation that gives them license to be as hateful as they are toward those who oppose them because, hey, who doesn’t hate Nazis? And if you think about it, it is probably illegal, and quite rightly so, to talk about building concentration camps and invading Poland, so why not just pile all the other stuff on there for good measure?

        Oh and this; mind numbing hypocrisy……in the form of a capitulation to the demands of Muslims throughout the Middle East……male Muslims that is…….who spied with their vicious little Muslim eyes…..a woman in an advertisement in an IKEA catalog……HORRORS!!!!!…….their vicious little Muslim heads exploded and they protested……….and IKEA immediately Photoshopped all women out of their catalogs………and then with their dental-work flecked with Muslim fecal matter, the entire IKEA senior corporate echelon crawled on hands and knees to beg the forgiveness of the offended Muslims and to give their sandals a good tongue polishing.

        Its actually hilarious, in a vulgar and injurious way…….in IKEA’s cafeteria, where they serve the Swedish version of a prison breakfast for 1.00$, they have little table decorations in plastic stands……one of them is a photograph of a young woman from a country like Bangledash or Pakistan and the caption about how much “IKEA REALLY REALLY REALLY CARES ABOUT THE WOMEN OF THE THIRD-WORLD.”

        Word has it that IKEA offered the miffed Muslims a special gift as consolation for their bruised sensibilities,……Islamic prayer rugs made of pure clitoris and fringed with severed labia, all harvested from those same third-world girls that IKEA cares so very very very very much about………the Muslims were very impressed, nothing like going down to the Mosque and kneeling on a rug made of pure clitoris and labia…….ALLAH BE PRAISED!!!!

      • This is pure conjecture, but if I were a Saudi billionaire Wahabist, I may consider it money well-spent to pay a few people a few hundred dollars a week to write letters to places like the New York Times, CNN, Fox News etc.. Actually, if you hired your comment writers out of, say, Pakistan, you could probably get them for about $10.00-a-day. Adolf Hitler, for one, would have most definitely endorsed such a concept.

        I think those 4 comments sitting there like bullet holes after Caroline Glick’s article are suspicious…which doesn’t prove anything. But when the non-comment-writers, who represent the vast majority of readers, scan quickly through the article then glance at the comments, they can see that nobody agreed with Caroline Glick, so they quickly file the article away under “six of one, half dozen of the other”, then forget about it altogether. Money well spent…

It is not just Sweden that is introducing laws banning freedom of speech , the UK is bring in laws against extremists but extremist is defined as anyone disagreeing with the government or any public body . You will be locked up in prison or a mental hospital if you do not agree with the governments actions or their version of events .

  13. No, it is not a law against critisism of immigration. It is a law that makes it easier for individuals to sue someone who he thinks are “defaming” him as a person. But Sweden doesnt need laws against critisism of immigration (that would not look good for swedens self image), there is a “social law” that makes a critic paria. You can still loose your job if the employer thinks that you do not “share values” that are the norm. You still get kicked out of some labour unions with the blessing of the authorities.
