    “Government forces have broken a year-long rebel siege of a prison in Syria’s northern city of Aleppo, reports say. The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said troops had entered the complex, but this is not confirmed.

    There are thousands of inmates at the prison, which has been the scene of fierce fighting for months as rebels have tried to capture it. The area is strategically important as it lies near a key supply route for fighters in rebel-held parts of Aleppo…”

  8. I noticed that. I voted today and the paper is designed to be ridiculously conspicious. If you voted UKIP which I did, everybody would know.
    Unfortunately, I’m not ashamed of my vote, but I am worried if they could use it to form some sort of voter fraud by automatically being able to spot the UKIP votes.
    If that’s the case then there is no more honesty left in Britain, and if this is true then the only course left is for the people to take matters into their own hands.

  17. This makes me sick to the pit of my stomach. I know Smithy Street School it’s where I grew up. Stepney, now Tower Hamlets.
    Where the dreadful East London Mosque is, is where one of the two synagogues I attended as a child was. The street I lived in just behind it.
    My father must be turning in his grave at what is going on there. He was on the Local Council for 25 years.
