An elderly Pakistani immigrant beat his wife to death with a stick after the doomed woman made the mistake of cooking him lentils for dinner instead of the hearty meal of goat meat that he craved, according to court papers.
Noor Hussein, 75, was so outraged over the prospect of eating the vegetarian fare that he pummeled his wife, Nazar Hussein, 66, inside their Brooklyn apartment until she was a “bloody mess,” prosecutors said in opening statements of his murder trial Wednesday.
“He comes from a culture where he thinks this is appropriate conduct, where he can hit his wife,” Clark said in her opening statements at the Brooklyn Supreme Court bench trial. “He culturally believed he had the right to hit his wife and discipline his wife.”

Yesterday the council official took to Sky News to claim that his borough had put in place some of the “most robust” systems in Britain. Syria’s army broke a year-long siege of Aleppo central prison Thursday, cutting off a major rebel supply route, reports said, less than a fortnight before President Bashar al-Assad’s expected re-election.
Tanks and armoured vehicles rolled into the grounds of the prison in the main northern city and intense celebratory gunfire was heard inside the sprawling complex
It puts the army and its allies, including Lebanon’s Hezbollah, within reach of Castelo road, which rebels in Aleppo city have relied on as a supply route leading to the countryside as a rear base. The province of Aleppo borders Turkey, a key supporter of Syria’s revolt
“After a siege of nearly 13 months by Al-Nusra Front and Islamist rebels, regular armed forces backed by pro-regime fighters were able to break the siege of Aleppo central prison,”
The prison had nearly 4,000 prisoners before the siege, including Islamists. Poor humanitarian conditions and the bombardment of the area have caused the death of some 600 inmates

NYC Muslims soft-pedal their death cult. Safe within the embrace of running-dogs from a plethora of dubious “faith communities”. This beast has yet to be tamed or driven out.
Let them consider the fate of 1st and 2nd generation Japanese living here during WWII. Our response to potentialenemies was appropriate to our outrage: suspect and intern every single one. They knew about living under a cloud, not these territorial beggars.
We could have set up internment camps right after 9/11 for those who fit the profile of terrorists. Extreme? Not for those who espouse Shariah mores that mandate flogging, mutilation, and beheading for transgressions of law. That would include everybody who reads the Quran as a holy book.
Collective guilt and responsibility are a fact of life for every minority everywhere. The only way to mitigate natural suspicion of the alien is to own the sinner and the sin, make reparations and police your own. Love it or leave it.
If they had taken it unto themselves to root out the rot, we would have celebrated their initiatives. Instead they subverted our investigations and nurtured vipers. Facilitated by leftist fat-heads and sleeper-cell agents.
The flights originated in Boston and hit concentrations of our own people, working for Akamai and others high up in the Twin Towers. Everybody I know here lost dear, individual souls amongst the collective ruin. Memorial services went on and on.

I used to get myself thoroughly reviled in Canada by arguing with Canadians that interning the Japanese was only prudent. It’s probably still a good way to lose friends in Vancouver.
Beats me how New Yorkers put up with it. My own project for Jihad Awareness Day has been to try feel less disgust and more pity for the dubious faith community of Canadian Anglicans. It’s not easy. The Primate’s ‘Bring Back Our Girls!’ statement manages, as do all of his statements about tard-caused atrocities, to avoid any mention of Islam. Instead of informing Christians about the nature of the evil they are up against, he asks them to ‘pray for a change of heart on the part of these armed extremists.’ People are not getting good advice.
We’re way behind NYC putting it behind us.
Only in the past couple of years have swarthy Mideast types appeared to deliver fast-food, drive our taxis and simper in their hijabs. But they’re still shy, they keep their heads down and regard their interlocutor from beneath the long eyelashes. The Marathon Bombing was a big set-back.
There’ve always been lots of students from everywhere here. Maybe 30% of MIT is foreign. But they’re very different, always welcome. I’ve been told, however, that those who return to their hell-holes become the worst of the Islamist oppressors. I googled a couple; my stomach turned.
My faith in “interfaith” is less than zero. I fix most of the blame for toxic PR on those weasels. Couldn’t be down without them.
I save my pity for their victims.
