And this is why you should never give any government any information at all if you can avoid it.

At least make them take it from you.

Notice that the police used a data base that according to law, was supposed to have been destroyed. And yet the police managed to get that information and illegally search homes and take peoples property while stopping them from moving back into their homes.

We wrote this breach of basic individual rights when it first happened. This is a situation that must not be allowed to stand, and as for all citizens of allegedly free nations, take notice.

  1. Shades of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina where in New Orleans the police and National guard violently and illegally seized legally owned firearms from citizens leaving them easy prey for the roving bands of criminals and thugs. It took court hearings to return some of them , many were ‘lost’ or rusted beyond use in a leaky trailer. The authorities never apologized or admitted to any wrongdoing. No one was ever compensated. This lawless confiscation of personal property and violation of Constitutional rights was the beginning of more police over reach, which is sadly becoming a norm.
