Apparentley Golden Dawn agrees with Loon Watch that Anti-Semitism and “Islamophobia” resemble each other. They should target oil sheiks instead of “bankers”.
I would like to see the context it was read. Because what i seen they were pro Israel so this is conflicting
The attacks on immigrants seem to be exclusively on those from Islamic countries who pour in because of Greece’s frontline position in Europe. I have not heard yet about attacks on the Jewish population by Golden Dawn. So far all I have seen is admirable patriotism and defence of the Greek people by this party so they have my support.
Then there is good hope GD can be brought to the right point of view.
What does that forgery say? That Jewish supremacists will try to take control of media, banking, encourage mass-immigration? Pssft, nothing of that has happen.

Golden Dawn is a breath of fresh air.
If somebody tells me not to support GD because they are anti-Semitic without adding “but whatever you do not vote for the mainstream parties because they represent even a greater threat to the survival of Greece” then they have lost credibility. It should be remembered that the Jewish holocaust was not the first genocide in Europe during the 20th century. It was in Turkey where millions of Christians were wiped out including 1.5 million Greeks which the EU does not recognize let alone commemorate. The word “Genocide” was originally coined by an historian who studied the Armenian and Greek holocaust. One would expect that out of all the countries, Israel would have been the first to recognize the Armenian and Greek holocaust in Turkey.but still has failed to do so.
Golden Dawn is the logical result of the polices we have seen in Europe for some time. Supporting them or not is one issue. But pretending they are something other than they are is mine.
I may or may not support Golden Dawn but I certainly think they are to Greece what antibodies are to a sick person. The fact that they may not discriminate well between a disease organism and one which is at worst, symbiotic, is problematic to put it lightly. At the same time, I can understand why many would view this as a price worth paying even if they agree with my assessment here.
Clearly between the EU and Greek Governments, there are no other options for the preservation of a rational and more or less, classical Greece than the ‘Hayekian strong man’, which would be Golden Dawn.
In summary, support them or not but be aware of who they are. Not doing so has consequences.
Very good Eeyore, a lot they are doing is good but this isn’t, we have to give the devil his due, when they do good we support them and oppose them when they do bad. Unfortunately most people these days have been raised to expect ideological purity and to refuse to support any person or group that is less then 100% pure. Yes Golden Dawn is doing bad things, yes they are doing good things, the question is are they more evil then good or more good then evil. Right now the are showing the way for resistance to the Moslem conquest. Support that but condemn their antisemitism.

Antisemitism is hatred of people irrespective of what they believe, how they act, or really anything about them at all except that they can be labeled as Jews. It is usually if not always founded on irrational and untrue claims.
‘Islamophobia’ is a rhetorical device invented by the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation to demonize anyone critical of Islam or Muslims in any way. People who do not like Islam or religious Muslims do so because of what they say and what they do and presumably what they believe. The degree of dislike is proportional to the degree of adherence to these beliefs and behaviors and therefore is entirely rational.
If a Muslim says, “I no longer support this crap and choose to live life as a regular free person” then so-called ‘Islamophobes’ will typically leave them alone and usually congratulate them. Antisemites on the other hand do not care about the reality of the person but of the fiction they can project onto them.

It isn’t clear because it isn’t clear. If you read the ‘Agendas and views of this site” which I wrote many years ago so that friends and enemies would know exactly why I do all this work and what my agenda is, you would see that my ambition was to help educate the general public on the nature of Islam and radical leftism with the hope that we could avoid a very nasty future with some simple and obvious and dare I say it, kind, changes in law that would avert the rise of a new ‘far right’. (I put ‘far right’ in single quotes because that has become a rhetorical weapon now and nearly totally bereft of meaning.)
Now, some few years later, the predictions I estimated seem to be happening here and there. Greece certainly and Hungary as well as it is, I am certain, in other countries as well.
When I look at Golden Dawn, I see the predictable and logical result of decades of bad policy and something to which many many people will cling to as a last hope as none of the usual choices do anything but make matters worse. Friedrich Hayek explained this process in great detail in his book, ‘The Road to Serfdom’.
I see Golden Dawn, somewhat the way I see an asteroid hitting the earth if no one does anything to stop it. Hard to pass judgement on that in some ways. I did make this video recently however:

Wouldn’t it have been great if somehow the Greeks had managed to find a way to preserve civilization in the very place that reason itself was born. The place that even the Muslims claim to have preserved their teachings to bring them to the West. While a myth about the Muslims at least it is deferential to the Greeks and their accomplishments.
Instead, they allowed hedonism and affluence and sloth to lead them to the Hayekian solution.

Golden Dawn are an interesting development in Europe, and I would agree, Eeyore, that they are a little like antibodies in response to a disease. We all knew this would happen. In the hardest hit area of Europe, Greece, where the government and the media have all been exposed as liars, where even buying food is a trial, people will begin to look for alternatives, and Golden Dawn is an extreme alternative, no doubt about it.
Some things people should consider.
Greece is a Balkan nation… You have to understand that nationalist movements in these eastern sectors of Europe are vastly different to what you see in, say, the Netherlands. There are a lot of the nationalist ‘old guard’, who were around when antisemitism was all you knew, whether you were against the Nazis or with them, everyone had a negative opinion of Jews. These older individuals drive the intellectual doctrine of these groups, so when you have a political movement like Jobbik in Hungary, which really came together because Hungarians had had enough of crime caused by the Roma community, you will find antisemitism in their off-hand rhetoric.
That’s just how it is. We can’t do much to change it, but we can hope that with time, these people catch up to how many of us feel, that Israel is our natural ally against the ancient enemy of Islam, a death cult intent on murdering everyone who is not a Muslim.
The good side is that these countries have very little geopolitical significance, and if I am correct, not huge populations of Jews anyway.
In Greece, there have been rumblings of anti-Jewish feeling in Golden Dawn, but the ‘action’ that we’ve seen has been against Turkish immigrants and more recently, homosexual actors who had no respect for the orthodox Christianity of Greece. I’ve seen Golden Dawn burning more German flags than Israeli flags.
In my opinion, the counter-Jihad movement at large should remain behind the viewing window when it comes to these countries and their nationalist movements. Watch from a distance and observe as things develop. Whatever will happen will happen, and Greece is continuing to deteriorate, so I expect to see Golden Dawn capitalize on the worsening situation. For those pleading with Greece not to turn to fascism, I would remind them that the Greeks already have fascists in full control of their lives. They are called the EU, and in a place like Greece, with the ground falling out from beneath their feet, people will vote for anybody they perceive to promise a future of restored pride and stability, and that’s if the country doesn’t descend into full civil war, as it did not long ago.

Greece and Hungry are going to be examples for the rest of Europe of what will happen if they don’t change course. Unfortunately too many of the European Governments are going to the wrong thing and crack down on all anti-jihad groups because they are afraid they will turn into Golden Dawn, the crackdown stands a very good chance of turning the peaceful resistance movements into violent nationalist movements. When I say violent nationalist movements, I mean true Fascist (if the world has any meaning anymore) movements, or at least what the left has always accused the Fascist of being.
You can be a nationalist without being racist, but way too many refuse to accept this fact. These are the ones who will insist on ideological purity in the resistance movement, anyone that doesn’t meet their expectations will be attacked more fiercely then they attack the Moslems.
We have to understand that Golden Dawn is the poisonous fruit of the “Islamophobia”-Industry like CAIR etc. Especially sites like http://www.loonwatch.com want to force “Islamophobes” to become Anti-Semites. If we apply the test of consequences, it is obvious that much Anti-Semitism among non-Muslims is the fault of Islam. Only when organisations like CAIR are considered hate groups, and are sued and forbidden, can Anti-Semitism among non-Muslims be adequately adressed.
Oil sheiks that want to intervene by bribing or boycotting have to understand that boycotting will hurt Muslims in the West as well. Also, destroying the economy of the West will have worldwide consequences, meaning the shares in all sorts of corporations the oil sheiks have will become worthless. The non-Muslim people in the West have nothing to lose, the oil sheiks have a lot to lose. The roles are reversed compared to 1973.
Golden Dawn is what happens when the left spends enough time marginalizing legitimate conservative movements, leaving no middle ground between them and the far right. And the far right profits when the system begins to collapse.

The left is using the Moslems and the Moslems are using the left, both groups want to become the dictators of all Western nations, but even they don’t know which will come out of top if the free people of the west lose.
