  1. The Chechens are Sunni, the Russians are trying to use the Shiite against them, that is why they are theologically cleansing the historical record. This isn’t going to work in the long run but Czar Valdemar is going to try anyway.

  2. I remember this incident and I remember the actress Vanessa Redgrave, stupid bleeding-heart liberal, appearing on TV and defending the actions of the Muslim terrorists. I remember her saying that Putin was the real terrorist and the poor Chechnyans were only getting revenge for being oppressed.
    It made me sick at the time to hear all this., but is typical of the wealthy liberal Left.
