Desert Reconnaissance Battalion commander: “We were prepared in advance”

This is the decorated IDF hero that led the battalion that successfully protected Israel against the massive attack launched from Egypt on Sunday. And yeh he’s a black muslim. He Doesn’t sound like the product of an “apartheid regime”, spoils the BDS narrative.

Lt. Col. Wahid Al-Huzeil, who led his forces in thwarting last night’s attempted terror attack, discusses their advance preparation

Lt. Col. Wahid Al-Huzeil, commander of the Desert Reconnaissance Battalion which participated in thwarting last night’s attempted terror attack, explained today (Monday, August 6) that his forces were prepared in advance of the attempt.

“We realized that there was an incident and we arrived on the scene,” he recounted. “We were prepared at the site and identified a vehicle that had exploded at the crossing. We tried to capture the second armored vehicle, and during the operation, the Desert Reconnaissance Battalion worked with the armored forces and the Air Force.”

“Ultimately, we succeeded in capturing the vehicle, eliminating the terrorists, and preventing them from harming our forces or innocent civilians,” he added.

In 2008, Lt. Col. Al-Huzeil received a citation from the Chief of Staff for successful activity in the same area, then as a deputy battalion commander. In that incident, he led his forces in preventing a complex attack in which three booby-trapped vehicles approached the Kerem Shalom crossing.

  1. How does Israel determine the level of idiocy of Muslims in their military?

How do they weed out the idiots?

  2. We (israelis) try not to enlist idiots in our military in the first place, so that we don’t have to weed them out later. All new recruits are scrupulously evaluated before they actually get into service. The goal of this “profiling” is effectiveness and reliability of the military, not some silly propagandistic enforcement of “diversity and inclusiveness”.

  3. How can Egyptians get the idea to include females in military service like Israel and China? The way their troops kick girls around on the streets looks so shitty.

  4. How can one be a Muslim and defend the Jewish state at the same time? I thought they were mutually exclusive. I understand the Koran says that it is the duty of every Muslim to fight against Jews.

  5. I don’t see it’s so hard for someone who has been born muslim, still identify themselves as muslim and be loyal and protect a country that actually protects your religious rights better than any other (locally). It just means he’s a great Israeli and not such a good muslim. The IDF has plenty of good Israelis that are not such good Jews, in fact good Jew does not always equal good Israeli when you look at some Haradi if you define a good Jew as someone who prays 3 times a day as my family would.

  6. TRex shouldn’t just look at the Haredim who are good Jews and bad Israelis. Drop in at Tel Aviv University, and meet countless secular leftists who support BDS and all the other anti-Israel movements. It’s the Jews who abandoned their prayers and faith who for the most part were historically the biggest enemies of the Jews, encouraging the anti-Semites, now represented by BDS etc.

  7. Thank you Syndic Nuruodo

TRex says: “It just means he’s a great Israeli and not such a good muslim.”

This is what I have been saying all along not all people that call themselves muslims are evil. The more they practice the ideology the more evil. I would assume one of the questions by the Israeli military for evaluation would be something like, “how often do you pray a day(or a week)?”

Nat, I am in no doubt that is true, I never met any of the self-hating Jews before except NK whilst in Israel, although I have met quite a few of them in the UK and Canada, those actually hate any form Jewish orthodoxy.
There are many secular and orthodox Jews who do a great job in the IDF

OxAO, I really don’t care how many times him and the other Al-Huzeil prays, they have a history of being patriotic israelies, but I am sure they are considered a bad muslims or apostates by the vast majority.

  9. A lot of guys play the religious bullshit just to appease their broad. Deep down inside he probably knows that iSlam is 110% crap.

  10. Sorry, as long as they’re still muslims i don’t & won’t trust ANY of them .
