Michael Coren on a recent honour killing in the UK by Muslims

Before Iftikhar wastes our time with nonsense about honour killings being a tribal problem that can be solved by state funded muslim schools, the book, Reliance of the Traveller, the most authoritative book on Islamic law in print and signed by Al Azaar and every other Islamic authority explains in no unambiguous way that there shall be no retribution for a parent or grandparent who kills his child that offends Islam especially for apostasy.

  1. Islam is a vile, disgusting, murderous cult that advocates paedophillia, murder, child marriages the list is to long to list here.
This cult should be banned regardless! why do we have to put up with all of their demands, eg our food, instigation of sharia, mosques being built like weeds, they dictate what we can and cant say, soon it will be what we can and cant wear.
The govt needs to grow some balls and tell them that they dont rule this country! live here peacefully as Australians or piss off !!!!!

Maybe Iftikhar won’t be bothering us for a while… ‘Shafilea’s parents Iftikhar Ahmed, and Farzana Ahmedy were found guilty of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment’.

I’ve got a sinking feeling someone will say it aint our pesky cut and paste critter.

Irish …… ‘ why do we have to put up with all of their demands, eg our food, instigation of sharia, mosques being built like weeds, they dictate what we can and cant say, soon it will be what we can and cant wear’

Just another snapshot of life in the UK….erm… wait a minute..…Australia…..or anywhere on the planet. The bit about telling you what to wear next is behind the times though Irish, they did that years ago. 3. The case of Shafilea Ahmed’s murder is much more complex than a tale of backward parents and progressive children.

Actually it is the question of identity in the modern world. 2nd and 3rd generation economic migrants often struggle to understand who they are.

False identity are often formed based on superficial understanding of the modern world , the identities tended to rational and materialistic.
Unfortunately the rural migrants are unable to differentiate or give any moral or spiritual understanding of the modern world to their off spring – leading to cultural schizophrenia – often many young muslims lead double life , pious at home and partying at university.

My view is if you have chosen to live in this country instill in your offspring a moral frame work with spiritual under pinnings.
Let them make their own mistakes and come to appreciate there is no point reinventing the wheel.

As for the claim West is best this is a hollow claim until the west can reconcile it liberal democratic outlook with its self serving foreign policy.

Anti Islam propoganda in the Western media for the past 20 years, which accellerated after the 911, is having the opposite effect. Some educated people in the West mainly out of curiosity want to learn what Islam is about. When they approach their research with an open mind, probably most of them form positive impressions about Islam and some of whom rightfully convert. In the USA after the events of 911, convertions to Islam pheonominally increased maily in amongst the educated white community and a large majority of them were females.

  4. I think islamic people are setting too many bad esamples everywhere and therefore most of us nonbelievers who are aware of the too many bad points of islamic infitration are anti-islamic.
Hopefully, islam would stop their subtle and baltant forcel imposition and unfair spreading to us nonbelievers who wish to have NOTHING to do with islam.

  5. And islamic people are also making use of their islamic children to get more sympathy and hopefully the West would stop being so gullible.

  6. In many parts of Asia, it is even worst. The islamic people inconsideraely putiting their islamic logo everywhere, eg, on banks, on food, etc without considering that there are many of us nonbelievers in Asia who wish to have NOTHING to do with islam.
And now we nonbelievers are also being subjected to too many gruesome islamic related news, which hopefully would not threaten our nonbelievers life.

  7. islamic people are just too selfish and too self-absorbed with themeslves and their own islamic families need. Islamic people expect us nonbelievers to understand their islamic related family problems but islamic people never try to understand our nonbelievers problems with islamic culture.

  8. Hopefuly, those islamic people can stop spreading their horrible islamic culture or imposing their islamic problems on us nonbelievers and start to respect us nonbelievers, who wish to have NOTHING to do with islam.

  9. Iftikhar Ahmad says:…….‘it is the question of identity in the modern world….. Unfortunately the rural migrants are unable to differentiate or give any moral or spiritual understanding of the modern world to their off spring.’

Eh….? You may be an idiot but don’t take us for fools. The values and attitudes revealed in these murders and other violent acts have absolutely NO place and NO identity in any civilized world. End of argument. No ifs or buts or pathetic self serving excuses about rural migrants or cultural schizophrenia

Take responsibility and address the content of islamic teachings, or the backward cultures and violent attitudes they seem to inspire, instead of offending people with hypocritical lectures on how WE need to be more tolerant.

I have no tolerance for violent obnoxious practices, and I don’t care if they’re cultural or belief based, these attitudes and values have no place in a civilized society, and it’s time that message was heard.

  10. It’s obvious that primitive people are unable to live in a civilized society peacefully, so let’s stop importing them and repatriate the rest.

  11. Eyeore – Had a wee talk with one of my mates and he’s comming down to show me how to get these cuttings to you, just a small follow-up to this case,Daily Star.7-8-12.(Page-24). The Parents have received 25 Yrs.each Min. They had a Briefcase with Family Pasports and Gold Bars in it,just incase they had to leave the Country at the drop of a Hat,it also says,”The Parents did’nt report her missing, and thed to co-operate.All the information came from Social Services”. There was NO remorse,NO urgency or panic that their Daughter had vanished. There was no,”Oh God,wfere is she?” or,”We’re really worried about her, where is she going to sleep tonight?”,in fact they had shown little concern for Shafilea’s disappearance.

I have some sympathy with this. But the root cause of the problem is that Islam forbids Muslims to integrate with the country that they have graced with their presence. This is obvious, as Ifty himself admits, that even 2nd and 3rd generation immigrants have problems.

No mount or education will help, either in English, and most certainly not in some native language. The short and simple answer to this problem is that Muslims leave for a country that suits their culture most.
