Russian method works. Sailors set free.

No harm came to any kidnapped Russian sailors during this rescue. According to Stratfor:

May 6, 2010
A Russian warship freed a Russian-owned oil tanker that was hijacked off the coast of Yemen, according to tanker owner Novorossiysk Shipping Company, Reuters reported May 6. All crew on board the tanker are alive and well, a spokeswoman for the shipping company said by telephone. State-run RIA news agency, citing an unnamed regional navy official, reported that Somali pirates were captured and no Russians were hurt during the rescue mission.

I don’t know what they did, but I bet it was not offering them Dutch citizenship

  1. So why doesn’t the rest of the free world send their ships to the area as well?

    I don’t get it.

These pirates are following the same ideology that the Saudis follow, yet no-one has the guts to send a message to those oil shieks and their allies.

And despite Iran building facilities that are obviously intended to develop nuclear weapons, and despite Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey showing signs that they are about to invade Israel, no-one with the capacity to stop this mad ideology from spreading is doing so.

I, for one, would like to see all of the Allies who went to Afghanistan send a message to Riyadh and those other places where Islam is trampling human rights. A message stronger than merely rescuing an oil tanker with one navy ship.

I want a message as strong to Muslims as 9/11 was a wake up call to the west and the free world that Islam is a big problem, and we must defeat it or it will destroy us utterly.
