Sounds like over compensation to me.
After all they’ve got to give some explanation as to why Syria, and indeed every other Muslim country in the world gave no help at all, as usual.
As Muslim countries never step up to the plate, when it comes to their own people, or anybody elses, they have to try and divert the blame.
Otherwise people might get the crazy idea that Muslims are self obsessed, selfish, cruel and heartless followers of a death cult.
