In Nigeria and Iraq, Muslim armies are selling women as slaves. Iran hanged a woman for fighting off a rapist. ISIS was more direct about it and beheaded a woman who resisted one of its fighters.
But we don’t have to travel to the Middle East to see real horrors. The sex grooming scandal in the UK involved the rape of thousands of girls. The rapists were Muslim men so instead of talking about it, the UK’s feminists bought $75 shirts reading, “This is what a feminist looks like” which were actually being made by Third World women living sixteen to a room.

“Amid the pomp and ceremony of Changing the Guard, they stand out from the hundreds of tourists. Armed to the teeth with firepower, the beefed-up police firearms officers are helping protect our soldiers from terror attack. Police carrying powerful Heckler and Koch G36C semi-automatic rifles and Glock 17 9mm pistols patrolled on Horse Guards Parade in Whitehall, central London, earlier today. Security has been bolstered tourist hotspots following the shooting of a ceremonial guard outside the Canadian parliament….”
U.S. drone strikes kill al Qaeda militants, Yemen officials say (CNN, Nov 4, 2014)
http://edition.cnn.com/2014/11/04/world/meast/isis-kobani-children-torture-allegation/index.html
“U.S. drone strikes killed at least nine suspected members of al Qaeda in Yemen, where clashes intensified Tuesday between the terrorist group and Shia Houthi rebels, local security officials said. The three airstrikes in Yemen’s Al Baitha province, near Radaa district, targeted al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula vehicles on their way to fight Houthis, the three security officials said.
The air component came amid fighting on the ground in the province that, according to the officials, killed at least 36 fighters from both sides.
Over the years, the Yemeni military, aided by American drone strikes, has failed to beat back AQAP. Yet the Houthis, a militant group that follows the Zaidi sect of Islam, have managed to defeat al Qaeda on numerous fronts, last week sweeping its militants from a stronghold in Al Baitha province.
This push spurred AQAP to threaten to kill Houthi followers wherever they are spotted.
More than 400 people have been killed from both sides over the past month in ongoing clashes in Al Baitha and Ibb provinces.
While Houthis have been critical of U.S. drone strikes in the past, they have not objected to their use in the last month….”
Obama administration could expand Syria mission (CNN, Nov 4, 2014)
http://edition.cnn.com/2014/11/04/us/u-s-syria-expanded-mission/index.html
“The Obama administration is leaving the door open to a possible expansion of the U.S. military mission in Syria, with the possibility of targeting not just ISIS but also al Qaeda-affiliated Jabhat al-Nusra.
While there are no active U.S. military plans for airstrikes against al-Nusra targets in Syria, neither the Pentagon nor the White House has rejected that idea as a possible future option, a senior U.S. official tells CNN.
“Nothing is off the table completely,” the official said.
The possibility of strikes against al-Nusra — the al Qaeda affiliate in Syria — was first reported by the Washington Post….”
Yemeni Shiite Leader Dismisses UN Sanctions Threat (abcnews, Nov 4, 2014)
http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/yemen-30-killed-shiites-battle-al-qaida-26672507
“The leader of Yemen’s powerful Shiite Houthi rebels, who control the capital and are currently battling al-Qaida militants, on Tuesday brushed off the threat of U.N. Security Council sanctions. “We are not afraid,” said Abdel-Malek al-Houthi.
The United Nations last month expressed deep concern at developments in Yemen, urging the new government to expedite reforms — especially in the army and security forces — and threatening to impose sanctions on “spoilers” endangering the country’s peace, security and stability.
U.N. diplomats said the United States has asked the council to freeze the assets and impose a global travel ban on three “spoilers” — Yemen’s former president Ali Abdullah Saleh, who has allied with the Houthis, and two Houthi leaders, Abd al-Khaliq al-Huthi and Abdullah Yahya al Hakim.
Approval by all 15 council members is required to impose sanctions, and the council has set a deadline of Friday evening for objections, the diplomats said, speaking on condition of anonymity because consultations have been private….”
Calais migrant crisis: UK police ‘should help’ (BBC, Nov 5, 2014)
http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-29902959
“British police should be sent to Calais to help solve the port’s “tremendous problem” with illegal immigration, the French interior minister has said. Bernard Cazeneuve told the BBC officers might help persuade immigrants it was “impossible to cross the Channel”.
Increasing numbers of migrants have been trying to enter the UK through the major ferry port in recent months. The Home Office has not yet commented but the UK has previously pledged £12m to help bolster security there….”
Australia ‘to send’ medics to join Ebola fight (BBC, Nov 5, 2014)
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-29909960
“Australia is expected to announce that it will help health workers travel to West Africa to treat Ebola victims.
Until now, the government has refused to send doctors to fight an epidemic that has killed some 5,000 people in Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone.
Australia had wanted other governments to agree to evacuate any of its medical staff who contracted the disease.
But the government has now agreed to manage a UK field hospital in Sierra Leone, local media says.
The UK has also agreed to treat Australian volunteers as if they were British citizens, reports the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper, citing officials.
Any infected Australian worker would be evacuated either to the UK for treatment or to Germany under a UK arrangement, the paper says.
Australia has come under sustained domestic criticism for not sending health workers to Africa to help fight Ebola….”
Facebook’s government user data requests up 24% (BBC, Nov 5, 2014)
http://www.bbc.com/news/business-29910101
“Requests by governments for Facebook’s user data are up by nearly a quarter in the first half of this year compared to the previous six months.
Global government requests were up by 24% to almost 35,000 in the first six months, the social media giant said.
The amount of Facebook content restricted because of local laws also rose about 19% in the same period.
News of the increase comes as Facebook fights its largest ever US court order to hand over data from 400 people.
Photographs, private messages and other information involving people in a benefit fraud trial were given to a New York court last year, but the request was only made public in August.
“We’re aggressively pursuing an appeal to a higher court to invalidate these sweeping warrants and to force the government to return the data it has seized,” the social media giant said in a blog on Tuesday.
The world’s largest social network also said that they “scrutinize” every government request for legal sufficiency and “push back hard when we find deficiencies or are served with overly broad requests.””
Driver hits pedestrians in East Jerusalem (BBC, Nov 5, 2014)
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-29911702
“A driver has rammed a car into several pedestrians in East Jerusalem, police say, hours after clashes erupted at the city’s holiest site.
At least three people were seriously wounded in the “suspected terror attack”, a police spokesman says.
The suspect was shot dead by security officials, spokesman Micky Rosenfeld added.
The incident took place near the site of similar attack two weeks ago, which killed a woman and a baby.
The city has seen an escalation of tension, most recently over the shooting of prominent right-wing Jewish activist Rabbi Yehuda Glick, who remains in a critical condition….”

Syria Qaeda chief threatens Lebanon over Hezbollah role
The head of Al-Qaeda’s Syrian affiliate, Al-Nusra Front, has threatened neighbouring Lebanon in a new audio message warning that the “real battle” in the country has yet to begin.
In the audio message distributed online on Tuesday night, Abu Mohamed al-Jolani warned that Lebanon’s Shiite Hezbollah movement would regret its intervention in the Syrian conflict in support of President Bashar al-Assad’s regime.
“Our brothers in Qalamun are hiding plenty of surprises,” Jolani said, referring to a mountainous region that runs along the Syria-Lebanon border.
“The real battle in Lebanon has yet to begin,” he added, saying Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah would “regret what he has done to Sunnis in Syria.”

Army Lost Nearly $420M-Worth of Equipment in Afghanistan (abcnews, Nov 4, 2014)
http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/headlines/2014/11/army-lost-nearly-420m-worth-of-equipment-in-afghanistan/
“The U.S. Army lost nearly half of a billion dollars-worth of equipment in Afghanistan, a new report from the military’s watchdog says. Late last week the Department of Defense’s Inspector General published the summary of an audit report it conducted for fiscal year 2013 and said that the 401st Army Field Support Brigade “did not report in a timely manner 15,600 pieces of missing equipment valued at approximately $419.5 million.” The summary did not describe the kind of equipment that went missing, or when, and stated that part of the problem was that the 401st ”did not consider the inventory lost.” The summary did not expand on that and the full report was not posted online. ABC News has requested a copy through the Freedom of Information Act….”
Norway: Terror Threat or Attack on Nation ‘Likely’ (abcnews, Nov 5, 2014)
http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/norway-terror-threat-attack-26698414
“Norwegian intelligence authorities said Wednesday that the Nordic country “likely” will be threatened by or hit with an act of terror in the next 12 months.
The Joint Counter Terror Center says extremists from the Islamic State group, among others, have called for terror acts against countries that are part of the U.S.-led alliance against the group. Norway has said it will send 120 soldiers to join the international campaign against Islamic militants in Iraq and help train local troops there.
The center says the country’s military, police and political decision-makers could be “exposed” by that decision.
Benedicte Bjoerndal, head of Norway’s domestic intelligence agency, singled out recent attacks or planned attacks in Britain, Canada and Australia that have targeted soldiers and police officers as examples of why the Scandinavian country’s assessment of terror threats was changed.
The evaluation came as Prime Minister Erna Solberg told Parliament about her government’s decision to send troops to Iraq.
“We will not allow threats from terror organizations dictate our security policy,” Solberg told lawmakers….”
