1. Women and children among latest Sunnis to be executed by ISIS firing squads as new report reveals how group tortures captured boys with electrical cables

ISIS militants have publicly shot dead 36 Sunni tribesmen, women and children, pushing the number of members slain by the extremists in recent days to more than 200.

It has also emerged that ISIS fighters beat Kurdish children taken from the besieged Syrian border town of Kobane with electrical cables.

Sheik Naim al-Gaoud, a senior figure in the Al Bu Nimr tribe, said the militant group killed 29 men, four women and three children, lining them up in in the village of Ras al-Maa, north of Ramadi in Anbar province. He said the extremists shot each of them dead one by one.

A Muslim Brotherhood dissident recently pointed out that “inside every Brotherhood member is an Islamic State member.”

This came in response to the recent revelation that Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was once in the Muslim Brotherhood.

Abdul Jalil al-Sharnubi, a former Brotherhood leader, made his statements during a satellite interview on the Arabic language program “New Evening” with journalist Jamal ‘Anayat.

4. Christian couple beaten to death by Muslim mob for ‘desecrating’ a Koran in Pakistan

An enraged Muslim mob beat a Christian couple to death in Pakistan and burnt their bodies in the brick kiln where they worked on Tuesday for allegedly desecrating a Koran, police said.

The incident took place at the town of Kot Radha Kishan, some 40 miles southwest of the city of Lahore, and is the latest example of mob violence against minorities accused of blasphemy.

A police officials told AFP: ‘A mob attacked a Christian couple after accusing them of desecration of the holy Koran and later burnt their bodies at a brick kiln where they worked.

5.  Dutch ‘jihadi’ couple, both 20, face jail of three and four years

The teen girl boss of an underage sex ring got a 6 1/2-year adult prison sentence Tuesday for crimes she committed at the tender age of 15.

The girl, now 18, sold three girls for sex in the spring of 2012. The youngest victim was 13 and thought she was going to a sleepover. Instead she was brought to five johns.

7. RCAF commander’s ‘inappropriate’ taunt to ISIS, sent from soldier’s funeral, removed from Twitter

Along with the photo, Blondin wrote: “Dear ISIL, thinking of you. Some of my colleagues are in your area. Hopefully, they’ll have a chance to drop by.”

The tweet was removed on Monday afternoon.

“The comments made by Lt.-Gen. Blondin were inappropriate and have been removed,” Johanna Quinney, a spokesman for Defence Minister Rob Nicholson, said in an email.
