How was such surprise possible in the face of world-famous Israeli intelligence services that were capable of creating and executing the kind of brilliant infrastructure that booby-trapped enemy pagers and cell phones? How were enemy training exercises that went for months prior permitted to go undetected? Where were the Israeli intelligence assets that are capable of telegraphing so much critical information? Everyone makes mistakes? Sure, but not Israel and not Mossad. Not like that.
