Reader’s Links for Nov. 15th, 2025

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

For those interested, please check out https://vladtepesblog.substack.com/ as an another avenue of expression. The Substack is a different project in a sense. It is older videos that in the light of subsequent events, look different or of increased importance, Check it out now and again if you like.

  1. My father used to say Hitler’s biggest mistake was that he got rid of the Jews.

This is the kind of drop-dead logic that bounces not even once when it hits the floor. Without this searing intellectual capital there would have been no Manhattan Project because they were the Manhattan Project. AKA the Hungarian Martians a la Teller:

“…The universe is vast, containing myriads of stars … likely to have planets circling around them. … The simplest living things will multiply, evolve by natural selection and become more complicated till eventually active, thinking creatures will emerge. … Yearning for fresh worlds … they should spread out all over the Galaxy. These highly exceptional and talented people could hardly overlook such a beautiful place as our Earth. – “And so,” Fermi came to his overwhelming question, “if all this has been happening, they should have arrived here by now, so where are they?” – It was Leo Szilard, a man with an impish sense of humor, who supplied the perfect reply to the Fermi Paradox: “They are among us,” he said, “but they call themselves Hungarians.”[2]”

So I run with the galactic metaphor. This business of the splitting of the American Right as per Vlad’s yesterday postings. It is as if the celestial nebulae consisting of gas and muted sparks of light has finally concentrated into something the naked eye can focus on. This “what happened to Tucker Carlson” mantra finally gets seated.

“History rhymes”–my god how I have come to loath this expression for its overuse. Much like the “how did you go bankrupt” Hemmingway classic. Both very true and both very exhausted.

There is a great reason to marginalize conservative Jews. Without them you have lost at least half of your dry intellectual powder. Why do you think Orban holds them so tightly?

Well, at least the first step to fixing yet another broken leg of Western civ is in identifying the problem. By my own humble estimation the way to fix it is by recognizing it as a Jew-ish problem. If only we can get progressives to drop their own crippling hyphen this category of intellectual firepower helps save us all by saving itself. Otherwise history does rhyme (Dammit).

  2. Inside Red China’s Social Credit System, a documentary.

The State knows every move you make, everything you buy–everything.

There are four classes in this system. The higher your score the greater your privileges. Those who infringe upon the rules of the “harmonious society” may find themselves unable to travel, shop, or even enter certain public parks. Public shaming is a big part of it with millions of cameras everywhere. Jaywalk and you may find yourself on a big screen.

Your most private information is known to the State, including your diet, and your choice in books.

The tone and timber of supporters of this system sound remarkably similar to people I know who say, “Why should I worry? I have nothing to hide.”

The model Red Chinese subject aspires to obtain 950 points in their social credit score.

We all should be immensely worried by this because Western apparachiks clearly are striving to create the same system. 52 minutes:
