I do not believe there is any established voice in Canada who I feel is as meaningful as Bruce Pardy with the possible exception of John Robson. To our ears, nearly everyone who appears to be counter-narrative or counter to the Narrative driven state, is controlled opposition, either accidentally or consciously. In fact there is even an example in the opening seconds of this video where it is remarked that X number of dollars has been spent on carbon reduction yet no carbon has been reduced.
This is a fully controlled up question, as without understanding that the intention was never to reduce carbon,( a ridiculous goal from the start, but to create massive opportunities for state spending and increased state control of all aspects of life. I’ve suspected “old guard” U.K. military has been preparing quietly for a long time and is now gearing up using the Big Bad Bear as pretext. Some independent thinkers in the U.S. military are on board with their limey counterparts.
The level of analysis of the war in Gaza by certain top professionals goes way beyond an editorial in the Telegraph or photo-op with a commanding officer of a foreign war in a tiny sandbox. (Though they turn those out too. That’s how they keep their unprecedented access.)
Nearly everyday they turn out highly detailed reports of operations as they happen. Strategies, tactics, logistics of this war, a possible prototype of the kind of war they anticipate. Writing about the strategic environment of subterranean warfare, they compare and contrast Hamxs tunnels to urban metro systems.
We’re not talking Kursk or Kiev, or the Saratov on the Volga. Neither the Black Sea, the Baltic, nor NATO countries on the periphery of the Bear. This is Birmingham or the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Plus an “Axis of Resistance” that will be cutting undersea cables, sabotaging logistics hubs.
At regular intervals they post queries of the extent to which their observations might be generalized, exchange ideas with British military intelligence. I’m watching acquisition proposals for the kinds of weapons on their wishlist.
