I’m a little lost for the right term, so I settled on National Socialism because it was clearly a kind of limited corporate/State alliance for total control of the population, which is the usual definition of fascism. Also they clearly intended to maintain some aspects of the US as a polity, perhaps just to wage wars on other areas to maintain control of the public and waste human production. In any case, watch these really short clips and decide for yourselves what the name of the style of governance the US was weeks away from establishing if so many had not woken up in time.

Marc Andreessen, the billionaire investor and co-founder of the influential Silicon Valley venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, revealed in a new episode of Joe Rogan’s podcast that after an “alarming” meeting with Biden administration officials earlier this year was the moment he would have no other choice but to support Donald Trump.
For decades, Andreessen has supported Democrats, including Bill Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton. However, a troubling spring meeting with Biden administration officials caused major concerns. During the meeting, officials explained their plan to control AI through government regulatory capture—a strategy reminiscent of Communist policies in China.
“We had meetings [Biden officials] this spring that were the most alarming meetings I’ve ever been in. Where they were taking us through their plans, and it was – basically just full government – full government control – like this sort of thing, there will be a small number of large companies that will be completely regulated and controlled by the government, they told us. They said don’t even start startups – there’s just no way that they can succeed – there’s no way that we’re going to permit that to happen.”

That was my reaction. And I have a good imagination!
Remember, this guy is not a hero. He supported all these despots, all the way up to Biden and Harris. Now, all of a sudden, he is “blowing the whistle” on these evil .gov monsters. Well, I call B.S. on that.
A courageous Mensch is not (necessarily) someone who feels no fear, but someone who overcomes it. And better someone who comes late to the “Road of Damascus” than never.
You’re right, Bill. He went along with all of them, until bingo, he was struck by the epiphany that, ultimately, he was on the chopping block, too.
He saw Obama et at affirming his progressive sensibilities, which he “knew” were on the moral high ground. Once the bridge too far was crossed, however, he saw the tyranny coming his way to stomp on him like a police horse.
This is a great example of the Coughlin maxim.
Maybe he is just a slow learner? Better late than never.

National-ist socialism, the ‘socialismus’ of Germany and Italy, was designed to protect their legacy ethnicity, the extended genetic family, of their nation (from ‘natio’, Latin for ‘family’.)
Thus, the wisdom of the fasces, sticks from the same orchard bundled together.
The tiers of the society were vertically integrated, organically vested by blood and soil.
National socialism, however, would be a foreign doctrine imposed on that same natio, one dedicated to tearing down the traditions and mores of that extended family, of erasing their identity as a distinct people and replacing it with something artificial.
The tiers of the oppositional society are horizontally integrated, that is, across all types of borders, thus a new type of identity is born, a subculture not tied to blood and soil.
Not tied, that is, to base reality; note that it spirals further and further into unreality.
Nationalist versus national. A wise choice, well done, and most considerate.
(Edit: that last sentence should have been national versus nationalist, it’s a bit more clear that socialism imposed is the bad kind. Please pardon.)
“The right term….” I am torn: names matter lots or not much? What we have; what we have had since FDR/1930s is FASCISM – the critical component of which is a close allegiance and nearly complete blurring of corporate and state power. It’s like Andreessen suddenly woke up and figured out his corporate interests were not among those in the in-group. So, he took a flyer on Trump.
His crucial remarks in this context are on “De-banking” – the what I call “blurring” is precisely what enables that – it can be done with complete anonymity and complete absence of accountability – who do you sue? and on what grounds? That’s just what he says!
“You can’t live in this kind of world” – Indeed! (I quote from memory).
One last thing: “National Socialism” is not correct; historical fascism – Germany, Italy – was nation based, of course. But somewhere along the line, The Rulers became more ambitious and the globalist project was born. Nations became an encumbrance to be destroyed.
The thing is, there were no death camps in Italy, and there was over 100,000 Jewish members of Mussolini’s Fascist party.
Goebbels made it clear that the Nazi party was a Socialist party by saying so explicitly in speeches and his books. Hitler made it clear when he gave the Nuremberg speeches. Constantly referencing Marxist ideas such as class wars, the proletariat and the Bourgeoisie etc.
One could say, Hitler’s National Socialism was a dialectic synthesis of Soviet communism and Italian fascism to make something to the left of both, where three races replaced the three classes of Soviet communism.
The Aryan replaced the perfected communist. The capitalist, which could be perfected into the communist was the general European population, and those who could not ever be perfected, those who had not yet reached the stage of capitalism would be Africa etc.
This is how I see it at the moment based on Tik History (A YouTube historian who is focused on these points) and some of his reference books like Table Talk, reading some Goebbels (bits of it) and an excellent film called The Soviet Story on YouTube at the moment.
