2. Pope Francis shocks bishops by allegedly saying gay men should not be admitted to church seminaries because ‘there’s already too much f*****ry’
(Did not expect this one)

Pope Francis has allegedly shocked bishops in Italy by using an offensive slur when saying that homosexual men should not be admitted to church seminaries because there is already ‘too much’ gay sexual activity.

The pontiff told a closed-door meeting at an episcopal conference at the Vatican that homosexual men should not be allowed into colleges to train for the priesthood, Italian media reports.

Bishops at the meeting were reportedly taken aback by the language the 87-year-old used to make the statement – the derogatory word ‘frociaggine’, which roughly translates to f*****ry.

3. If this article is correct in its description of the changes in legal processes in Canada, and no reason to think it isn’t based on what we have seen since 2020 for sure, it is a very solid data point to Stephen Coughlin’s description of the switch from Socrates to Plato, or reality being replaced by state diktats. Please read and comment, especially if you have expertise in the legal field.

The Historic Concept of “Judicial Notice” Has Been Twisted by Canadian Courts

Once Embraced to Allow “Generally Accepted Facts” into Court Proceedings Quickly & Efficiently, “Judicial Notice” Now Means Courtrooms Must Accept Government Propaganda Without Question.

The historic doctrine of “Judicial Notice” was always considered to be an exception to the fundamental Canadian legal rule that matters relevant to legal actions must be established through formal proof, witnesses and/or independent evidence.

The concept was considered to be a practical compromise necessary for the efficient operation of Canadian courts. It saved time and court resources by eliminating the need for formal proof of well-known facts.

Judges were generally required to apply a two-part test to determine when judicial notice is appropriate.

  1. Notorious Facts: These are facts that are considered common knowledge among reasonable people. Examples could include universally known scientific laws, historical events, or geographical features.
  2. Easily Verifiable Facts: These are demonstrably true facts sourced highly reliable sources, such as official government publications, legal statutes, or recognized almanacs.

While the 1985 Canadian Evidence Act opened the door for the use of judicial notice in “all Acts of Parliament, public or private, without being specially pleaded,” there were limitations placed on “Imperial proclamations, orders in council, treaties, orders, warrants, licences, certificates, rules, regulations or other Imperial official records, Acts or documents.”

According to the Evidence Act, those proclamations and documents could be used in court:

  • In the same manner as they may from time to time be provable in any court in England;
  • By the production of a copy of the Canada Gazette, or a volume of the Acts of Parliament purporting to contain a copy of the same or a notice thereof; or
  • By the production of a copy of them purporting to be published by the Queen’s Printer

4. The State of Peer Reviewed Journals today

By Jo Nova

Proving that unpaid anonymous review is worth every cent, the 217 year old Wiley science publisher “peer reviewed” 11,300 papers that were fake, and didn’t even notice. It’s not just a scam, it’s an industry. Naked “gobbledygook sandwiches” got past peer review, and the expert reviewers didn’t so much as blink.

Big Government and Big Money has captured science and strangled it. The more money they pour in, the worse it gets. John Wiley and Sons is a US $2 billion dollar machine, but they got used by criminal gangs to launder fake “science” as something real.

Things are so bad, fake scientists pay professional cheating services who use AI to create papers and torture the words so they look “original”. Thus a paper on  ‘breast cancer’ becomes a discovery about “bosom peril” and a ‘naïve Bayes’ classifier became a ‘gullible Bayes’. An ant colony was labeled an ‘underground creepy crawly state’.

And what do we make of the flag to clamor ratio? Well, old fashioned scientists might call it ‘signal to noise’. The nonsense never ends.

A ‘random forest’ is not always the same thing as an ‘irregular backwoods’ or an ‘arbitrary timberland’ — especially if you’re writing a paper on machine learning and decision trees.

The most shocking thing is that no human brain even ran a late-night Friday-eye over the words before they passed the hallowed peer review and entered the sacred halls of scientific literature. Even a wine-soaked third year undergrad on work experience would surely have raised an eyebrow when local average energy became “territorial normal vitality”. And when a random value became an ‘irregular esteem’. Let me just generate some irregular esteem for you in Python?

If there was such a thing as scientific stand-up comedy, we could get plenty of material, not by asking ChatGPT to be funny, but by asking it to cheat. Where else could you talk about a mean square mistake?

5. Remembering Trudeau on vaccines. And not even the worst of them.

Thank you all for checking out this site.

A short primer on government policy on immigration, jihad and other existential threats yet oddly not to things which are not existential threats but govt. action makes them into one.
