Whether Geert Wilders will allow his bureaucracy to undermine him will depend on HOW his government is structured and WHAT leadership skills he brings to bear. In the US, Trump had the authority to deal with the Executive Branch but chose NOT to function in his leadership capacity. He did not function as the Executive. He functioned as the Elder Statesman and head of PR. He delegated genuine leadership functions to Javanka, Mike Pence and the myriad Swamp Creatures he appointed to Cabinet & senior leadership positions in the Executive branch agencies & the White House. Vivek Ramaswamy speaks clearly on how to deal with the bureaucracy. Trump is the best we have, but he was the Tweeter-in-Chief during 4 years in the White House. That is not to be confused with the exercise of genuine leadership.
