Emma its probably a good idea to watch a lot of James Lindsay videos before this one.
Here’s why:
Communism etc. is based on a separate system of thought than Western thinking. We are all raised in a Western system based on reason and logic. We have managed to cope with all our experience of life within this system, and its a very good one, in that it offers amazing predictive value. Which even if it doesn’t correspond to the model used, it still has perfectly practical value, if you follow.
In other words, lets say you have a theory about how something works. You test it, and all the tests show that things behave the way you expect them to.
Even if your theory is dead wrong, its still useful in that the results people get from using it are predictable. And eventually, a better model comes along which explains it better and has better predictive value.
Think Newton’s model of gravity and then Einsteins.
Communism is derived from systems of thought, not just different entirely from the Socratic system we are raised in, and our civilization is based on, but is intended to be destructive to our system by design.
While the video here does an amazing job of explaining dialectical thought, you probably need a primer to get you to the point where even that video makes sense.
Again, I would say watch basically ANY and as many as you can, James Lindsay videos on communism and how it works. He approaches the issue from the perspective of a reasoned thinker. Eventually, to understand communism/fascism etc. from a strategic level, you need to understand the video herein.
Maybe watch it again in 5 minute chunks.

I can now watch the Carlson-Putin interview and be confident what Putin meant when he referred twice to the “golden billion”. And do you suppose a man such as he, who is so careful with his words, uttered the expression accidentally? The high priests and their worshippers are that billion. (A club we ain’t in.) And given his historical understanding, and given where he is from, Putin will have an intimate familiarity with this religion. He will also prioritize the elimination of Ukrainian Nazis because he understands too well what they are.
How very dangerous is religious fanaticism that believes it, itself, is god.
No wonder Hitler loved Islam. Both are collectivist and both are death cults. Clear too is the need to drop the use of various labels. To understand the dialectic man is to know that fascism is his synthesis upward out of communism. It is a higher state of being. It is closer to the god he aspires to be.
No wonder our western leaders are so vociferous in their climate change rhetoric and resolve. It is made by man so can and must be changed by man. This is critical and urgent to understand, because these people are truly crazy and can do enormous, even fatal damage in the name of their religion. Why else would Bill Gates want to put silver particle clouds in the sky to reflect the sun away from Earth? How do we know this is not being done already in some places? Only a high priest considers such an executive, consequential decision. Man does not effect climate change, but Gates has the money to pretend it does, and the hubris to want to tamper with complex systems he cannot fully understand. (It also makes me suspicious of other odd weather events such as derichos.)

Remember this the next time someone such as Dear Leader tries to impose his ostensibly ludicrous, destructive policies such as banning gas stoves or hurting inhibiting food production.
