Poll Shows Biden Border Policy Has Backfired With Latinos

A poll by the University of Houston was released last week on the prospects for the March primary elections and the November general election in Texas. The poll unsurprisingly projected that Biden and Trump were headed to another showdown in November, and that Trump was leading Biden in that rematch by 9% in Texas. However, what I suspect the Biden campaign team found shocking was that Biden was losing to Trump with Latino voters by a 47-41 margin. Only 55% of Latino Democratic primary voters said they were committed to vote for Biden. The other 45% were undecided.
I have watched for years as pundits and political consultants from both parties, who were mostly white, have made assumptions about how Latino voters felt about issues and how they would likely vote. The near universal mistake these consultants and pundits have made for years was that immigration was the paramount issue for the Latino community and that they wanted more liberal immigration laws. Both assumptions were wrong.

Democrats continue to hemorrhage Black and Latino voters in the runup of the 2024 presidential election.
The Democrats no longer have a lock on the minority vote as more and more Blacks and Latinos are waking up to Joe Biden’s destruction of the American economy here at home and his foreign policy disasters abroad. And Biden’s freebies to his 10 million illegal invaders has not gone unnoticed in the minority communities around the country today.
Black and Hispanic support for the Democratic Party fell nearly 20 points in just over three years. This is a huge loss in support. Democrats are going to have to work extra hard to steal the minority vote this year.
Daniel Garza from the Libre Initiative and Stacy Washington from “Stacy on the Right” joined FOX and Friends this Sunday morning to discuss.
Stacy Washington added this, “I think the most important thing that you just stated there is that it’s something that they can see. It’s something black Americans can see in their communities. Children being kicked out of school to let migrants stay in the gym, the really stark amount of costs that are being spent $9,000 a month for residents of Chicago. These are migrants who are getting that and the people who pay the taxes are getting nothing. So you pile that angst on top of car insurance being up 20.3%, baby food up 7.3%, rent up 6.2%. And if you put all those things together, obviously there’s a lot of, it’s not just angst, it’s anger, very real anger at the policies that the Democrats are pushing and the replacement of voters who traditionally have been the core of the Democrat party, literally being shunted aside in favor of people who are in the country illegally. So it’s a terrible, terrible thing, and it is showing up in the polls.”

Twice-failed presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton spoke with MSNBC’s Alex Wagner about Joe Biden’s old age in light of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report.
Special Counsel Robert Hur released a 345-page report on his investigation of Biden’s stolen SCIF-designated classified documents.
Biden’s stolen classified documents were scattered all over the place in damaged cardboard boxes and unlocked drawers. The documents were easily accessible in Biden’s Delaware garage and basement den.
Robert Hur found that Joe Biden “willfully retained” classified information, however, he decided not to charge him. Hur said there is evidence Biden retained classified notebooks, “knowing he was not allowed to do so.”
The Justice Department defended not bringing charges against Biden because he’s a “sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”
Joe Biden is either too old and demented to stand trial and therefore can no longer serve as president or he is competent enough to serve and stand trial.

When Americans can no longer count on each other, our society will crumble. One New York City doorman just proved that that day isn’t here quite yet.
WABC-TV reported that two thieves robbed a woman in broad daylight in an upscale New York neighborhood on Sunday.
Onlookers stood by and did nothing as the thieves slammed the 24-year-old woman against the door of an apartment building.
The building’s doorman told WABC that he heard a “thump” when the attackers threw the woman against the glass.
“When I looked up, our eyes kind of met and all she said [was], ‘Help,’” the doorman recalled.
When the doorman came outside and confronted the thieves, they swiped the woman’s phone and ran off laughing as the woman tried in vain to chase them down.
Surveillance footage then appears to show the woman gesturing angrily at a group of bystanders who let the thieves run by without trying to stop them.
Thankfully, the woman was unharmed, and police have clear images of the two suspects.
This is the latest example of how criminals have been emboldened by soft-on-crime Democratic policies.
A building manager in the neighborhood where Sunday’s robbery occurred told Fox News that muggings, break-ins and other crimes have become more common over the last few years.
While 2023 did see a slight drop in numbers, crime is still up about 33 percent in New York since 2019.
Given the lackadaisical approach that New York has taken to prosecuting criminals, it’s no wonder that they are brazen enough to commit crimes on busy sidewalks in the middle of the day.
“What struck me [is] that they were so bold. Even when I was outside, they still continued to rob her,” the doorman said.
This is exactly what happens when criminals have no need to fear the law.
Just look at the Jan. 27 incident in which a group of illegal immigrants brutally beat two New York police officers, only to get released without bail a few days later.
To the politicians who have championed bail reform and crime-tolerant policies: When is enough going to be enough? What has to happen before you protect the people who elected you?
There is only one result that can be expected from soft-on-crime policies — more crime.
But those who have pushed these policies are not the only ones to blame in this situation. The bystanders who let the thieves run away without doing anything failed the victim too.
As James 4:17 states, “Whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.”
May we all be as willing as the doorman to protect our fellow citizens when they are in danger.

Herbert Wigwe, CEO of Nigeria’s largest bank, killed in California helicopter crash

Herbert Wigwe, the chief executive of Nigeria’s Access Holdings, parent of Access Bank, one of Africa’s largest banking groups, died in a helicopter crash in California on Friday night, the company confirmed on Sunday morning Nigeria time.
His wife, son, and a former group chairman of the Nigerian Exchange, which operates the country’s main stock market, were also killed in the crash alongside two others, two people close to Wigwe’s team told Semafor Africa. There were no survivors.

The helicopter, identified by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as a Eurocopter EC130, crashed near the border between California and Nevada, the New York Times reported today. The FAA and the U.S. transportation safety agency are investigating the crash, the Times reported.
The crash occurred about 60 miles from Las Vegas. One person close to the Wigwe team said that he was expected to attend this weekend’s Super Bowl American football event which is taking place in Las Vegas on Sunday.

Hundreds of anti-Israel protesters stormed inside New York’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) on Saturday afternoon, forcing it to close its doors early.
Arts and culture website Hyperallergic reports close to 800 pro-Palestinian protesters filled the museum’s atrium in protest of alleged investments into Israel’s military weapons by the museum’s trustees.
The protesters distributed more than 1,000 imitation MoMA pamphlets criticizing trustees Leon Black, Larry Fink, Paula Crown, Marie-Josée Kravis and Ronald S. Lauder, the report states, and hung a banner over the lobby that read “MoMA Trustees Fund Genocide, Apartheid, and Settler Colonialism.”
Videos posted across social media networks showed the extent of the attempted takeover of the famous site.

A February 5 headline from Microsoft’s own site sends the signal: “Here’s how we’re working with journalists to create the newsrooms of the future with AI.” That’s the intended future: The marriage of Big Tech and Big Journalism, with a hybrid offspring coming soon to a screen near you. Microsoft has a plan to use AI to create a “healthy information ecosystem” just in time for the 2024 election.

Here’s the translation from the corporate blather-speak: Microsoft, the richest company in the world, is making its move into journalism, or, more precisely, the journalism business. Journalism, for better or worse, requires journalists, those flesh-and-blood cost centers, whereas the journalism business can get by on whatever it can get away with, AI-wise.
Yet, so far, at least, AI journalism has not been a success. Most obviously, reporters realize that AI could send them down the same automated chute as bobbin turners and hod carriers. So they’ve been calling out AI when it’s gotten too flagrant, as in the recent case of Sports Illustrated. That was a victory for journos, although, of course, soon thereafter, the publication shut down.

Mail-In Ballot Fraud Study Finds Trump ‘Almost Certainly’ Won In 2020

A new study examining the likely impact that fraudulent mail-in ballots had in the 2020 election concludes that the outcome would “almost certainly” have been different without the massive expansion of voting by mail.
The Heartland Institute study tried to gauge the probable impact that fraudulent mail-in ballots cast for both then-candidate Joe Biden and his opponent, President Donald Trump, would have had on the overall 2020 election results.
The study was based on data obtained from a Heartland/Rasmussen survey in December that revealed that roughly one in five mail-in voters admitted to potentially fraudulent actions in the presidential election.
After the researchers carried out additional analyses of the data, they concluded that mail-in ballot fraud “significantly” impacted the 2020 presidential election.
They also found that, absent the huge expansion of mail-in ballots during the pandemic, which was often done without legislative approval, President Trump would most likely have won.
“Had the 2020 election been conducted like every national election has been over the past two centuries, wherein the vast majority of voters cast ballots in-person rather than by mail, Donald Trump would have almost certainly been re-elected,” the report’s authors wrote.
Over 43 percent of 2020 votes were cast by mail, the highest percentage in U.S. history.
‘Biggest Story of the Year’
The new study examined raw data from the December survey carried out jointly between Heartland Institute and Rasmussen Reports, which tried to assess the level of fraudulent voting that took place in 2020.
The December survey, which President Trump called “the biggest story of the year,” suggested that roughly 20 percent of mail-in voters engaged in at least one potentially fraudulent action in the 2020 election, such as voting in a state where they’re no longer permanent residents.

Joe Biden and his White House handlers continue to peddle misinformation if not lies about his removal of classified files…
The worst is that Biden – supposedly so unlike Trump – came forward willingly as soon as he realized that he had unlawfully, but inadvertently, removed and possessed classified files. And thus he cooperated fully and promptly with federal authorities.
Biden removed files improperly both as a Senator and Vice President.
He held some of them in his unlawful possession for perhaps at least 14 years without a word to authorities, dating back at least to his departure from the Senate on January 15, 2009 when he resigned to become Vice President—or if not longer over his some 36-year Senate career.
In fact, in 2017 Biden was fully aware that he had wrongly removed these classified files. As Hur noted, there is a taped conversation on record between Biden and his ghostwriter to just that effect. Biden, at home in Virginia, was recorded as remarking, “I just found all the classified stuff downstairs”.
And yet Biden apparently did nothing. He never came forward to any federal authorities for nearly the next five years.
So given that knowledge, why did the attorneys belatedly disclose Biden’s possession of the files on November 2, 2022? Civic virtue? Altruism? Respect for the law?
Hardly.
Otherwise, Biden would have disclosed his unlawful possession at any time during either the intervening prior years when he was a private citizen or during the first 18 months of his presidency, when he knowingly still possessed classified files and still did nothing about it.
In truth, Biden would likely never have come forward, save for one insurmountable problem: Merrick Garland had likely decided to appoint Jack Smith as a special prosecutor to investigate the Trump files that the FBI had swooped into Mar-a-Lago looking for 3 months earlier on August 8, 2022.
In other words, knowing that Smith or a generic special counsel would very quickly be appointed (Smith was sworn in a little over two weeks later, on November 18, 2022), suddenly Biden and Co. preempted that announcement, in fear that Biden had done virtually the same thing as Trump—albeit without presidential declassification power and for at least 14 years in possession of classified files.
Had the attorneys and Biden not come forward, Trump and others would have asked whether Biden had not also removed files. So to get out in front of the formal announcement of the Smith appointment, they preempted, misleadingly and disingenuously, preening that civic virtue had prompted Biden’s “voluntary” disclosures and “cooperation”.
A final note: one of the more disturbing moments in Biden’s catastrophic press conference was his flare up at Hur’s revelation (“How dare he bring up that!”) that in formal interviews an enfeebled Biden had not remembered the general date of his son’s tragic death from a glioblastoma brain tumor on May 30th, 2015 at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington DC.
Biden went on to vent at Hur.
But Hur was simply documenting his analysis that Biden was severely cognitively impaired, and not as VP Kamala Harris claimed, gratuitously smearing Biden.
But who exactly had serially lied about Beau Biden’s demise, by claiming that he had died while on duty in Iraq, serving in the Delaware National Guard as a Judge Advocate?
Joe Biden.
He has still a bad habit of directing attention away from grieving families of fallen soldiers, by claiming that he too experienced the same nightmare.
Biden had been pilloried in the media to cease such false narratives about his son’s tragic premature death due to natural causes back in the United States, years after his deployment in Iraq.
But to no avail, he continues spinning such myths as he did repeatedly as late as last year.
Sadly, doctoring family tragedies for his own purposes is not new to Biden, as Jack Fowler noted in 2019.
The tragic death in a December 1972 traffic accident of his first wife and daughter, and the injuries of his two sons, was raised for decades by Biden—but in a completely false context of blaming an innocent truck driver, Curtis Dunn for the death.
Dunn was innocent of any culpability. No matter, Biden in his serial retelling for years repeatedly smeared Dunn as drunk driver (“an errant driver who stopped to drink”) who had killed his wife and daughter.
Biden finally gave in to the repeated pleas for decades from the truck driver and after his death, his family.
Or as a 2010 Mark Bowden Atlantic essay on Biden noted:
“For many years, he described the driver of the truck that struck and killed his first wife and their daughter in December 1972 as drunk, which he apparently was not.
The tale could hardly be more tragic; why add in a baseless charge?
The family of the truck driver has labored to correct the record, but Biden made the reference to drunkenness as recently as 2007, needlessly resurrecting a false and painful accusation.”

Yet, the NSA is currently celebrating the activities of a Soviet spy, J. Robert Oppenheimer, the Manhattan Project scientist who worked on behalf of the Soviet Union and the development of its atom bomb project.
Despicable lie.
Robert Oppenheimer will always be smeared as a commie spy by ideologues for whom facts are irrelevant. Old dogs soothing themselves by gnawing on the same worn bone. That they continue to repeat long-discredited allegations attests to their shallow knowledge base and poverty of reasoning capability.
These HUAC dregs never emerged from their idée fixe. They’re still marinating in antiquated – though still vicious – slander. They fail to recognize communism as it has evolved today because they never understood it back in the day. The same mechanism as everybody I hate is racist, misogynist, homophobic, blah-blah.
So while the NSA and Snowden are probably unclean, it’s not because they’re shaped like the KGB-USSR cookie-cutter paradigm. For that matter, his characterization of the Manhattan Project is so wrong it’s offensive to those conscientious Americans who worked on it. (And their students and offspring.)

All other rights belong either to the States or the People, the Civil War could be described as starting because some of the States were trying to take rights away from the Federal Government and some of the People. What we currently have is a Federal Government that has moved way past the enumerated rights and well into the States Rights. States are fighting in the Courts to regain the States and Peoples Rights that the Federal Government have stolen. States’ rights issues have become more prevalent since 2020, spanning a variety of topics such as mask mandates, vaccine requirements, abortion rights, same-sex marriage, gun control, marijuana legalization, education standards and curriculum, environmental regulations, and electoral college and voting rights. The recent Texas border standoff between Governor Abbott and President Biden underscores the need for a nuanced discussion on the role of the National Guard and the governor’s authority to deploy them.
With 10,000 migrants crossing the border daily, Governor Abbott perceives a crisis unfolding in his state. “I officially declared an invasion at our border because of Biden’s policies.” He tweeted. In response, he launched Operation Lonestar, mobilizing the National Guard to bolster border security, prevent illegal crossings, combat drug trafficking, and address other criminal activities. According to the Eagleton Center on the American Governor at Rutgers University, “Governors are the commanders and chief of the state militias, with the responsibility to protect the safety of the states’ citizens.” Here, the term “militia” refers to the state’s National Guard.
Each of the 50 states, along with Washington DC and the three U.S. territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands, maintains its own National Guard. These units operate under dual status, meaning they answer to both federal and state governance. This arrangement empowers governors to deploy them in response to natural disasters, civil unrest, and other local emergencies. However, the president retains the authority to activate a state’s National Guard, typically for deployment overseas.
State governors also have the option to request assistance from other states. For instance, Tennessee has deployed National Guard units to the border to aid Texas, reminiscent of their support during the war for Texas and the Battle of the Alamo. Advocates for states’ rights and sovereignty contend that border security falls within the purview of states, criticizing the federal government for its perceived inadequacy in securing the border. They view National Guard deployment as states exercising their right to safeguard their citizens within their own borders.

One of the problems we now face is that after WWI the cost of military equipment increased and many of the States couldn’t afford to pay for the equipment, to solve this problem the State Militias were folded into the Regular Military establishment. They belong to both the States and the Federal Government, this creates a problem since the State Militias were suppose to be a guard against the Federal Government using the Regular Military to oppress the States. State Governors are sending Guard Units to Texas to help protect the Southern Border and are within their rights when this is done, but what happens if/when the Federal Government nationalizes the Guard from those states and orders them to go home or to help the Border Patrol help the invaders.

They don’t give up their mandate because some governor didn’t secure the proper legal mechanism for acquiring their military equipment. That’s a cheap trick.

It is time for the West to leave the UN and for a League of Democracies. The UN, like its predecessor, The League of Nations, was once regarded as a noble institution. A place where different countries could discuss and debate everything from political disputes to wars and military skirmishes. While there would obviously be points agreement and disagreement, the main goal was to find a path to peace, security and a safer world for all of us to live in.
That was then — this is now
Today’s UN resembles a political cesspool controlled by totalitarian states and rogue nations who reject democracy, liberty and freedom. Here are several examples illustrating its stunning decline and fall:
Iran and Iraq were scheduled to co-chair a 2003 UN nuclear disarmament conference before Sadam Hussein was toppled from power.
North Korea, a major nuclear threat, chaired the UN Conference on Disarmament in 2011.
Lybia chaired the UN Human Rights Commission in 2003, and was a UN Security Council member .
Syria chaired the UN 2002 and August 2003 and sat on the UN Human Right Council.
It is not only worse with time. The most recent example involves the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian refugees or UNRWA………………………….
That is why I and others have been occasionally calling on Western Nations to leave the UN and start a League of Democracies………………………

DC Council Appoints Paroled Murderer To Sentencing Commission

The DC Council has appointed a patrolled murderer to the city commission charged with setting guidelines for prison sentences.
On Tuesday, twelve members of the commission that drafts and modifies criminal sentencing guidelines voted to elect convicted murderer Joel Castón to the 17-person board.
Castón will be the first person who has been incarcerated to serve on the commission.
The council’s appointment of a convicted murderer to its leadership comes amid the District’s ongoing crime surge in homicides, carjacking, and robberies.
Castón garnered praise from local leaders during his rehabilitation in prison and acclimation to civilian life, the Washington Times reports.
Last year, D.C. had the fifth-highest per capita murder rate among the nation’s biggest cities,
In January, US Attorney Matthew Graves scolded the council for considering Castón’s appointment. In a Jan. 2 letter, Graves advised members that the paroled killer’s addition to the council would impede the city’s “revolver door” approach to crime and punishment.
Graves cited data underscoring how Superior Court judges closely adhere to the board’s guidelines when handing little to no jail to half of all convicted felons in 2022, Graves told the Council.

A shooting was reported at Joel Osteen’s Lakewood megachurch in Houston on Sunday.
The female shooter wore a trench coat as she walked into the church with a rifle and claimed she had a bomb before she began shooting.

After driving up the price of food 33 percent in three years thanks to his disastrous inflationary policies, Joe Biden is portraying himself as standing up for the little guy by attacking the snack food industry over “shrinkflation”, selling smaller packages at the same price to compensate for Biden’s inflation.
On Super Bowl Sunday, the White House posted a video on its social media platforms featuring Biden complaining that there are fewer snack chips in bags, smaller sports drink containers and–what makes ice cream lover Joe the “most angry”–smaller cartons of ice cream.
