    A few points. B’nai Brith Canada took exception with Pro-Palestinian demonstrations,asking our Police to stop them. The Police refused, stating Canadians have a right to peaceful protest,as guaranteed by our Charter.That this Jewish/Zionist mouthpiece would take away a Charter Right to advance it’s suspect and sinister Apartheid Zionist agenda is shameful,and even politicians should call B’nai Brith out on this.
    Sure,prosecute where and when necessary and indicated,depending on the nature and severity of the offense.There may be nuisance type offenses,that either require a simple warning or payment of restitution,without “criminalizing” it. Just sayin’.

    B’nai Brith isn’t afraid of lies.Lies and untruths can be countered by evidence. B’nai Brith is afraid of the TRUTH,because you can run away from it,but you can’t hide.Just sayin’.

    • “Confronting truth” may be a bit ambitious on your part. We believe in freedom of speech. Even when we don’t agree with it and even when it’s repugnant.

      B’nai Brith should not ask for the power of the state to suppress any views. Thought crimes and speech crimes are anathema to this site.

      But the police do in fact suppress views that are contrary to the socialist narrative which now runs Canada. There are political prisoners here, and police who supported legal, but effective protests against illegal measures by the state face harsh consequences, even if not by the criminal courts, regulatory bodies etc.

      Doctors and nurses who would not take the shot are destroyed and doctors and nurses who spoke their own truths about them where more thoroughly destroyed. Many of them I know personally.

      So while it is true that the state must not interfere with protests, it is also true that this has to be across the board and not selectively, or more accurately dialectically applied.

      And calls for genocide are at least borderline an actual crime rather than a mere speech or thought crime. But that’s as they say, over my pay grade.
