Laurence Fox has been arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit criminal damage to ULEZ cameras after uploading a video online of police appearing to search his home.
Footage posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, this morning appeared to show uniformed officers in the now sacked GB News host’s home as he sat on a sofa smoking a cigar.
It comes after the actor appeared on Maajid Nawaz’s Warrior Creed podcast on Tuesday, to ‘encourage mass removal of the surveillance state’.
He said: ‘I encourage them [Blade Runners] to tear down every single camera there is and I will be joining them to tear down cameras as well, because I’m one of those people that puts my money where my mouth is.’
Mr Fox added he was ‘pretty close with several’ Blade Runners – a secretive group behind acts of Ulez camera vandalism – and that he would be ‘out there with my angle grinder’.
The Met Police confirmed a 45-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit criminal damage to ULEZ cameras.
Later, GB News dramatically announced it had sacked Fox following derogatory remarks he made on the channel about a female journalist.

2. Red Deer trustee has “no regret” about anti-gender ideology post, despite punishment

Red Deer Catholic school trustee Monique LaGrange has been banned from committee meetings and is prohibited from representing the school board in public in response to a social media post comparing gender “brainwashing” to Nazi indoctrination. 

LaGrange must also undergo sensitivity training about the Holocaust and LGBT issues, though she has “no regret” about her post.

The motion passed by Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools (RDCRS) requires LaGrange to issue a public apology to have her powers reinstated, though doing so would violate her rights, her lawyer argues.

“She didn’t do anything wrong,” said James Kitchen.

5. Climáximo, The climate activist group describes itself as an “anticapitalist” climate justice collective, blocked a busy Portuguese highway during rush hour and drivers cleared the road themselves. So the take-away: Climate groups are communist. We already knew that, but it’s so nice when they admit it in their own self description. And rule of law will only happen when people enforce it themselves. If enough people do it, then the new communist order may not act against them. At least not directly and perhaps not right away.
