Tenure isn’t what it used to be, Woman on German train confrontation with mask-police and more: Links 2, August 19, 2022

1. Fascinating confrontation between an English speaking woman and a German Covid enforcer on a train. As it was shown on today’s Corona Investigative committee with Reiner Fuelmich, one suspects this is recent. Hopefully the original clip will surface and we can find out exactly when and where it was.

2. Rock Singer’s Fatal Brain Injury Caused by AstraZeneca Vaccine, Inquest Concludes

AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine caused the “catastrophic brain injury” that resulted in the death of a 48-year-old U.K. rock singer two weeks after he got the vaccine, an inquest concluded.

A U.K. rock singer who goes by the name Zion died from a “catastrophic brain injury” caused by the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, an inquest concluded.

The 48-year-old man from Alston in Cumbria, a county in North West England, developed an “excruciating” headache on May 13, 2021, eight days after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine.

Although he took painkillers, Zion’s headaches increased in severity and four days later, his speech was impaired and he started having seizures.

Zion died May 19, 2021, despite emergency surgery to try to treat his “vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia,” which causes swelling and bleeding in the brain.

3. Gen. Flynn: It’s Time to Activate Every Single American – We Must Take Immediate and Necessary Action

National security and severe government reform are two of our nation’s massive near-term challenges.

In today’s environment, we face a time of consequence like few throughout U.S. history. The very fabric and reputation of our nation internationally are at risk, and we have a dangerously mounting threat internally from a formidable and vast, overreaching federal government.

Considering this, it is worth reflecting on one of our best presidents, Abraham Lincoln. In 1838, Lincoln gave an address in Springfield, Illinois, and during the address he stated:

“Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant, to step the Ocean, and crush us at a blow? Never! All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest; with a Buonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a thousand years.

4. Judge permanently blocks Biden leasing pause in states that sued

A Louisiana judge issued a permanent injunction against the Biden administration’s moratorium on new oil and gas leasing on federal lands Thursday night, a day after another court tossed an earlier injunction against it.

In the Thursday ruling, Judge Terry Doughty of the Western District of Louisiana permanently blocked the January 2021 order in 13 states that sued over the order in March of that year. The states in question are Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah and West Virginia. It does not apply to any states uninvolved in the lawsuit.

Doughty ruled the order was in violation of the Mineral Leasing Act (MLA) and Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act (OCSLA), saying it took steps reserved for Congress.

    • New Brunswick is one hell of a place for Woke Academia. I was following Rick Mehta on Twitter and did he ever have problems as a professor? I figure they must be going through a brain drain and only the Woke will remain. And BLM has a solid footprint also.

The tenured Socialist lady professor, I applaud and we need more of them if we are to survive.

  1. 3 & 4-General Flynn is right, now is the time to fight back. We must elect people who will slow or hopefully stop the Lefts rush to force us into full communism.

We have Ben lucky in the number of Trump supported MAGA people who have won primaries. Now we must work to ensure that the MAGA Republicans take control Congress. This is vital if we want to block the radicals that the Biden puppet will appoint.

The Judicial decisions on the oil leases shows why it is vital that we get Judges that make decisions according to the law instead of being political activists who want to write new laws (illegally) and to discover new things in the Constitution.

  2. I have zero sympathy for this self avowed socialist “academic”. She has only complained when the “wokeism”affected her. But she is responsible for her own demise: has she not read the history of communism/ socialism? She is part of the communist “long march through the institutions”, she clearly never complained about the woke destruction of academia before this. So she admires the socialist George Orwell and associates herself with him, but was too dim to work out that his books were a warning not a how-to manual.
