Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

      October 2020 admission gets fresh attention.

      At the height of the pandemic, the United Nations recruited over 100,000 “digital first responders’ to push the establishment narrative on COVID via social media.

      The revelation actually slipped out in October 2020 during a World Economic Forum podcast called ‘Seeking a cure for the infodemic’, although it is only going viral on Twitter today.

      In the podcast, Melissa Fleming, head of global communications for the United Nations, explains how the COVID pandemic and lockdowns created a “communications crisis” in addition to a public health emergency.

      Fleming acknowledged that in order to fight so-called “misinformation” about the pandemic, the UN tapped up 110,000 people to amplify their messaging across social media.

      “So far, we’ve recruited 110,000 information volunteers, and we equip these information volunteers with the kind of knowledge about how misinformation spreads and ask them to serve as kind of ‘digital first-responders’ in those spaces where misinformation travels,” Fleming stated.

      That was nearly 2 years ago. It is not known how many ‘digital first responders’ have been recruited up to this point.

      Similar efforts to create astroturf campaigns to push a specific message are nothing new, but when entities such as oil companies engage in it, they are lambasted for rigging the discussion.

      However, when globalist technocrats at the UN or the WEF do it, apparently it’s fine.

      Last year, it was revealed that the British government used “propagandistic” fear tactics to scare the public into mass compliance during the first COVID lockdown, according to a behavioral scientist who worked inside Downing Street.

      Scientists in the UK working as advisors for the government admitted using what they later conceded to be “unethical” and “totalitarian” methods of instilling fear in the population in order to control behavior during the pandemic.

      As we previously highlighted, the World Economic Forum is now advocating for the merger of human and artificial intelligence systems to censor “hate speech” and “misinformation” online before it is even allowed to be posted.

      In what some dubbed “preemptive censorship,” the WEF is creating a system that would block posts from appearing if they fail the censorship filter.

      Of course, the WEF, which is infamous for blocking its critics on Twitter, would never abuse such a system to shield itself from scrutiny.

      WEF Announce Recruitment of ‘Information Warriors’ To Control the Narrative on Social Media

      The World Economic Forum (WEF) has announced it has recruited hundreds of thousands of “information warriors” to control the internet, policing social media and forums for “misinformation” and conspiracy content which will then be systematically shut down.

      According to Klaus Schwab’s WEF, misinformation on the internet is an “infodemic” that is “potentially deadly” and requires a “cure.” The definition of misinformation, according to the WEF, is anything they disagree with. This means the information warriors will essentially be engaged in the act of shutting down dissent.

      Conspiracy forums and Youtube comments sections are being targeted by the “digital first responders” who pretend to be ordinary users of the platform, but are actually working to disrupt proceedings and support the ideology of Klaus Schwab’s WEF.

      Announcing the news on a WEF podcast, UN communications director Melissa Fleming said “So far, we’ve recruited 110,000 information volunteers, and we equip these information volunteers with the kind of knowledge about how misinformation spreads and ask them to serve as kind of ‘digital first-responders’ in those spaces where misinformation travels.”

      The WEF are subliminally influencing the masses in order to push their narratives onto the people.

      Also on the podcast, mainstream journalist Mark Little sets out potential solutions to the “infodemic.”

      Little has worked for Twitter and founded Storyful, a social media news agency closely linked to the fact-checking program. He has now launched Kinzen, a company which is threatening to use artificial intelligence to censor online content.

      “I’ve started to see the spread of misinformation as a global health crisis,” Little tells World Vs Virus. “Misinformation is that serious a threat to our society.

      “Misinformation is happening within our friends and families. So we have to find strategies to, first of all, recognize it. And, secondly, as active citizens, just like we wear masks to protect others, we need to be the good citizen, the active vector fighting back in our daily lives.”

      A new report based on official figures from the UK Office for National Statistics (ONS) asserts that the effects of lockdown may now be killing more people than COVID-19.

      The stats show that non-COVID excess deaths continue to outstrip COVID deaths, with 1,000 people dying each week from conditions other than the virus.

      “The Telegraph understands that the Department of Health has ordered an investigation into the figures amid concern that the deaths are linked to delays to and deferment of treatment for conditions such as cancer, diabetes and heart disease,” reports the newspaper.

      Despite some calling for the re-introduction of COVID restrictions such as face masks in the winter, “the country is facing a new silent health crisis linked to the pandemic response rather than to the virus itself,” states the report.

      “Hundreds and hundreds of people dying every week – what is going on?” asked Dr Charles Levinson, the chief executive of Doctorcall, a private GP service.

      “Delays in seeking and receiving healthcare are no doubt the driving force, in my view,” he added.

      “Daily Covid statistics demanded the nation’s attention, yet these terrifying figures barely get a look in. A full and urgent government investigation is required immediately.”

      Cases of undetected cancers, cardiac problems and serious mental health conditions are surging, with excess deaths 14.4 per cent higher than the five-year average.

      The The British Heart Foundation said it was “deeply concerned” by the situation.

      But the media is largely disinterested, despite scaring the public for years with ominous COVID death toll numbers.

      Experts have long warned that the effects of lockdown would end up killing more people than COVID, although they were demonized and censored at the time by the establishment.

      Academics from Duke, Harvard, and Johns Hopkins have concluded that there could be around a million excess deaths over the next two decades as a result of lockdowns.

      A study conducted by the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) found that there were conservatively 170,000+ non-Covid excess deaths in the U.S. through 2020 and 2021, numbers exacerbated by lockdowns.

      Another study conducted by Johns Hopkins University and released in February concluded that global lockdowns have had a much more detrimental impact on society than they have produced any benefit, with researchers urging that they “are ill-founded and should be rejected as a pandemic policy instrument.”

      Stanford University professor of medicine Jay Bhattacharya said that in years to come lockdowns will be looked back upon as the most catastrophically harmful policy in “all of history.”

      Anticipation is mounting for Canada to approve an updated version of the COVID-19 vaccine as fall threatens to usher in a new wave of infections.

      Earlier this week, British regulators became the first in the world to authorize Moderna’s bivalent vaccine, which protects against both the original strain of the novel coronavirus and the Omicron BA.1 subvariant.

      Health Canada is currently reviewing bivalent booster candidates from Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech, which leaves some Canadians debating whether to wait for the revamped shots or go for a booster now.

      With viral circulation projected to pick up as the season changes, some provinces are encouraging people to get a booster of the approved version of the vaccine. For many people, that would mean a fourth or fifth dose of the original formula.

      Experts say the extent to which the bivalent vaccines provide additional protection from catching COVID-19 is still being studied, and the cost-benefit analysis of waiting for one depends on the person.

      Here’s a look at what we know about the bivalent vaccines, and how they could factor into a fall wave.

      WHEN WILL BIVALENT VACCINES BE AVAILABLE?

      Health Canada received Moderna’s bivalent vaccine application on June 30, while its British counterpart got the paperwork to start its review earlier that month, spokesman Mark Johnson said in an email. Pfizer filed a submission for its updated shot on July 25.

      While the agency didn’t provide a timeline on when these reviews are set to wrap up, Health Canada has already asked vaccine manufacturers to further tweak their bivalent vaccines to target the fast-spreading Omicron BA.4 and BA.5 subvariants “as soon as possible,” Johnson said.

      Canada’s chief public health officer, Dr. Theresa Tam, says Canada has secured a “sufficient” supply of bivalent vaccines if regulators greenlight a rollout.

      Infectious disease specialist Dr. Zain Chagla said he expects to see more countries authorize bivalent vaccines in the coming weeks and months, which should give Canada time to integrate the updated shots into its fall immunization campaign.

      HOW DO BIVALENT BOOSTERS COMPARE TO THE ORIGINAL VACCINES?

      Currently available COVID-19 vaccines are monovalent — tailored solely to the original novel coronavirus. In addition to defending against this earlier strain, the proposed bivalent vaccines were designed to recognize specific mutations in Omicron’s spike protein that make it better at evading immune detection.

      These updated vaccines may provide “incremental” added protection against catching Omicron, but the extent remains to be seen, said Tam.

      Chagla, an associate professor at Hamilton’s McMaster University, said bivalent vaccines may not be the gamechanger that some have hoped for in curbing the spread of the virus.

      As the BA.4 and BA.5 Omicron subvariants gain steam in much of the country, the BA.1-tailored bivalent vaccines might not be that much better than a first-generation booster when it comes to deterring COVID-19 infection, Chagla said.

      Emerging research suggests that the protection provided by currently available boosters wanes within six to eight weeks, said Chagla. He expects that bivalent vaccines could extend this period by a few additional weeks — not months.

      “I’m happy to be proven wrong,” he said. “But I don’t know if this is going to reset the clock.”

      Both the old and new versions of the COVID-19 vaccines are effective at preventing severe COVID-19 outcomes, he noted.

      SHOULD I WAIT TO GET A BIVALENT VACCINE?

      The short answer is: it depends.

      Provinces have expanded access to fourth — and in Quebec, fifth — doses of the original COVID-19 vaccine with the expectation that COVID-19 cases will spike as temperatures fall.

      With the health-care system already stretched to its limits, the priority needs to be boosting those at highest risk of landing in hospital, such as immunocompromised people and older adults, Chagla said.

      But as a greater share of the population has gained hybrid immunity, it wouldn’t be unreasonable for low-risk people to wait for the latest version of the vaccine, Chagla said.

      Tam encouraged Canadians to weigh both their personal risks and level of COVID-19 spread in their community. But if it’s been more than six months since your last infection or vaccination, you may want to roll up your sleeves for another shot before the cold weather sets in, she said.

      “If you waited too long, the wave could be starting,” she said. “Then you don’t derive as much benefit.”

      WHAT’S NEXT?

      A key challenge in COVID-19 control is that the evolution of the virus has far outpaced the time it takes to develop, test, manufacture, review and roll out a vaccine that can counteract the latest mutation.

      “By the time the wave occurs — two to three months — that’s barely enough to scratch the surface of getting a new vaccine,” he said. “There is this catch-up game that’s occurring all the time.”

      He hopes the inaugural rollout of bivalent vaccines could provide a “proof-of-concept” that will fast-track this process for future iterations of the vaccine, similar to how the flu shot is tweaked every fall to target variants that are circulating.

      “There’s nothing wrong with this being a flu-season-like model, where people just get updated for a certain amount of time,” he said.

      While we can’t expect perfect protection from getting sick, we can have the tools to prevent severe illness among the most vulnerable.

      “We’re lucky to have this technology.”

      A new study has found that more than half of people infected with the Omicron variant of COVID-19 were unaware they had it.

      Undiagnosed infections could be the reason why the variant spread so rapidly, researchers from the L.A.-based Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre, who conducted the study published in the journal JAMA Network Open on Wednesday, said in a release.

      The study’s participants initially included 2,479 employees and patients of the medical centre, who provided blood samples before and after the surge of the Omicron wave.

      Researchers identified 210 people who tested positive for Omicron. All were asked to complete health questionnaires outlining their signs and symptoms to monitor their health statuses during the study’s period.

      It was found that 56 per cent of the participants had no idea they were infected, out of which only ten per cent reported even experiencing recent symptoms. Forty-four per cent of the respondents reported being aware of having Omicron.

      “We hope people will read these findings and think, ‘I was just at a gathering where someone tested positive,’ or, ‘I just started to feel a little under the weather. Maybe I should get a quick test,’” Susan Cheng, co-author of the study, said in a release.

      “The better we understand our own risks, the better we will be at protecting the health of the public as well as ourselves.”

      The results from the study back up the vast underreporting of Omicron cases in Canada, found by a group of volunteer experts that have been analyzing the country’s cases since Dec. 2, 2021.

      According to the researchers, additional research with bigger samples of people from other ethnic groups and localities will be required to determine the precise characteristics that are connected to a lack of infection awareness.

      The data also revealed that with the widespread availability of at-home rapid test kits, people’s awareness of their infection status improved.

      “Awareness will be key for allowing us to move beyond this pandemic,” Cheng said.

    The push for “9,000 megawatts of offshore wind energy” comes at a high price, not only for families who are left dependent on expensive and unreliable energy, but for the planet.

    Wind turbines require massive amounts of rare earths for their generators and motors. A single wind turbine eats up tons of rare earth metals. Rare earth mining carried out in China is horrifyingly destructive to people and the environment. One story described radioactive lakes, high cancer rates and villagers whose “teeth began to fall out” and “hair turned white at unusually young ages”. “Children were born with soft bones and cancer rates rocketed.”

    At least 16 people were killed and 29 injured after a truck hurtled into pedestrians in Turkey, the health minister said.

    “The accident… occurred after the breaks gave out on a lorry, which hit a crowd in Derik,” a town in the southeast of the country, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said on Twitter.

    Turkish media shared footage of a driver losing control of his truck, then careening towards nearby vehicles and pedestrians trying to flee.

    Turkey’s official Anadolu press agency said an accident involving three vehicles had happened at the same site shortly before, and emergency responders were already at the scene when the lorry ploughed into crowd.

    It was the second major crash of the day after another involving a bus and an ambulance in the Gaziantep province, which local media said killed another 16 people.

    CBC – Emergency workers among 32 killed in Turkey in separate crashes at accident sites

    16 others also dead in another separate crash some 250 kilometres away

    At least 32 people were killed in southeast Turkey on Saturday when vehicles crashed into first respondents who were attending earlier accidents, authorities said.

    Sixteen people including emergency workers and journalists died when a bus crashed into an earlier accident site, regional Gov. Davut Gul from the southeastern province of Gaziantep said. Another 20 people were wounded and received treatment.

    “At around 10:45 this morning, a passenger bus crashed here,” Gul said, speaking from the scene of the accident on the road east of Gaziantep.

    “While the fire brigade, medical teams and other colleagues were responding to the accident, another bus crashed 200 metres behind. The second bus slid to this site and hit the first responders and the wounded people on the ground.”

    Separately, a truck hit a site some 250 kilometres east in the Derik district of Mardin where first respondents were attending to another accident, according to footage.

    Sixteen people died and 29 were injured as a result of the incident in Mardin, Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said, adding that eight of the wounded were in critical condition.

    The Federal Bureau of Investigation has significantly damaged its standing amongst Republican and independent voters after its raid of former President Donald Trump’s home.

    According to a Rasmussen survey published on Thursday, more than half of Americans now view the FBI as Joe Biden’s “personal Gestapo.”

    Forty-four percent of respondents said they have lost trust in the bureau after its raid on Trump’s Florida estate, while 29 percent said the raid of the former president’s home increased their confidence in the FBI.

    Twenty-three percent said the unprecedented raid has no impact on how they view the federal agency.
