  1. It ended peacefully this time, one of these days it won’t, one of these days there will be a groups of cops that don’t mind attacking unarmed women, children and men.

When I was in the Army we were taught that illegal, unlawful orders were meant to be disobeyed. It takes a lot of guts to disobey them but when one is issued you have to decide what you want on your conscious? Getting in trouble for not committing a crime or having a crime on my conscious? This applies no matter which side of the counter revolution you are on, the side of freedom or the side of tyranny.

FYI: The man standing on the roof of the Capital building was one of the guards for the sniper teams that were hidden up there. Snipers don’t give away their positions like he was doing, he was drawing peoples attention away from where the snipers were. If any of you are ever in a situation like that you will never see the police snipers what you will see is the perimeter guards (the men with the riot sticks) and the people on the buildings that are drawing your attenuation away from the snipers locatoion(s).

    • Yucki you are keeping a list of Home Truths so put that bit about illegal orders are meant to be disobeyed on that list.

      • Yeah, the illegal orders are in HomeTruths > °Ethics.
I’m adding the part about positioning perimeter guards to distract from the real snipers.
        HomeTruths > °Tactics

  2. Domestic LEO/DAs offices/courts have morphed into militaristic caricatures of their original intent. Local rot is as bad as the federal; look at a city policeman and chances are high he is wearing a military haircut, a tactical vest, and is skilled at escalating encounters to provoke violence (thereby resulting in reinforcements and an arrest, a win for their side). Not much training, if any, in Constitutional rigor and the DA/court sections are all on the side of the cop, so justice is not about to be served.

    • This is why we have the Second Amendment.

Note that most of the protests are in Dem controlled stats where the population is for the most part unarme.d.

    • You know, it’s embarrassing.
As it must be for cops who serve in decent units. Our local force is stellar, really sincere in helping out the vulnerable. Keeping the peace.
