Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.
This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.
So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.
This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

“Fishers of Men” and their secret sign that denoted a free-conscious person would welcome you. Someone for whom the truth set them free. A Follower of the Way.
How far removed then are Christians today, living their lives as ex-sinners, fearful that they may backslide again with the same thorns in their side, but faithful to live in their new personas to sustain them. Protected by the Blood of Jesus Christ, to not be condemned in Hell Fire on Judgement Day when all their wrongs will be read out to them once again to condemn them as filthy rags deserving torture. Big Momma. Her priestesses fill these churches from the back to the front
Ex-addicts live under this same shadow of demise.

For what is this, that an ex remains attached to their folly, and never separate? A foot so sensistive the children must avoid knocking lest a muslim declare that child tempted him to have sex with them.
Because an ex-muslim can be given a koran, four beautiful musselma and a six year old, told the kufar Welfare State will house and pay for them for all their lives, and never be tempted. Pride no longer is addictive.
Likewise, an ex-smoker can be given a cigarette, inhale, and simply say ‘it no longer does anything for me.’. For the same spot it hits, no longer records the pleasure but evoke unpleasantness.
Now, the brain craving food and sex is the same stimuli here as the addiction to binge no matter what harm physically, socially and emotionally it is doing. Refueled by guilt.
And each have the same path to recovery: to admit you cannot fix it by your own will-power (because the subconcious mind is involved), then to fast for ‘forty days and nights’ in isolation, seeking in the stillness of meditation the truth to your motives that invited the rewards of self-grandisement. To find the memory of the truth ,to weep, apologise and forgive and let it go behind you. There is a mind-body reset. A reboot, and all systems go back on line. To laugh.

So now, that same drug has no attraction, and any new experience with it is horrible and not welcomed.
“Free! Free!”
Told that you have an incurable disease. It was not your fault. And all will be well with you as they are your protector and guarantor.
I have argued for a way to save yourself from addiction, and a way to save others to find themselves by not helping them but creating an environment freely to help themselves.
For whoever sucks on the teat of “free,” falls in love with their Provider. The guilt of receiving or the submission of obedience. Out they then go, to lord over the silence of the sane.
In practical terms, would it not be preferable to have legalized drugs at a market price, so there is no one to rob and shoot at? Weapons would no longer be “the problem.” Even the unemployed can cash in. And so rather that the slow tobacco and skunk influencing the greedy minds of a posse of single mother’d teens, a skeleton crew limps by the little Jewish man they dearly wanted to Happy Slap.
Slow changes are hard to detect, but a few months and their real insides are reveiled, unmasked for all to see. The wilderness. And back home for tea.
WATCH: Afghan citizen arrested after incident in German supermarket – He tried to set the spilled spirits on fire+++
After a man rioted in a supermarket in the street Pferdemarkt on Thursday afternoon, he was arrested. The 24-year-old Afghan had thrown a large number of spirits from a shelf so the bottles broke on the floor. The damage amounted to about 1000 Euro. Extensive investigations by the Nordhausen CID department revealed that the man had tried to set the spilled alcohol on fire. He is now being investigated on suspicion of attempted arson. He was brought before a magistrate on Friday. The judge issued an arrest warrant.

“…because the subconscious mind is involved…”
I think Nietzsche said marriage was like a long conversation, didn’t he?
Well, talk about a long conversation–the conscious/subconscious is our longest. This is the source-code of your beat, PC, and its got its gems, despite your occasional protesters.
Once upon a time there was a middle-aged whole man. He woke up one morning with an overwhelming desire to buy a guitar. Out of the proverbial blue, it seemed. He had never played guitar, but the thought would not leave him so he went down to the local music store and bought the cheapest instrument they sold–thinking the urge would pass and he would not have wasted too much money on a whim.
But the urged never did pass, and so he spent the rest of his life writing silly songs on that guitar. But, as it turned out, it was never an urge “out of the blue”, but a voice from the subconscious, trying to make him more whole.
Does this not make perfect sense to the child on the endless road to perfection? And doesn’t this simple example illustrate just a snippet of the RedGreen slavery created by a voice coming from un-wholeness?
That awsome blown-mind of Nietzsche’s. As a young man to have first seen in Greek mythology the dual nature of the brain presented right up before him.
Recognizing our ego has a way to comfort our unsane, as sane. That, stepping out of the box, of the Übermensch.
Fortunately, with greater simplicity, we are here exposing the terrorized and repressed mono-brains caused by Muhammad’ brutal cult of splitting into the escapisms of Sunni, Shia and Sufi (Communist, Socialist and Sensual). To steal the father’s voice from them and replace it with a Super-Father that spouts violence and theft to submit to. (Or ‘No Men Required’ inc). Dhimmis. (Or Cuckies).
Helping Muhhammad’s underlings become unhypnotized and unlocked by reporting and reflecting back to them their sheer evil, stupidity and foolishness that they themselves utter and do.
Reporting the truth – a Hate Crime.

“Help me! I can’t help myself!”
“Well all I can do is lock you in a prison, avoid all distractions, reduce your protein intake so you don’t desire to fornicate, and wait it out until the pain inside reveals itself to you. You must want to find it. I cannot change your attitude, for if I could, that would make me your god. Anyway, you can do all this alone, by just sitting here…”
“There is no god…”
“Even the bees and flowers have god. Where’s your god? I see you have your mother’s voice, but where’s your fathers?”
“I don’t know my father…”
“”Which is why I don’t know you. For wherever there are two together in agreement, whatever you ask for, is done.”
“I want the pain to go away…”
“And we both can’t see it. Now, if you held it up for me to look at…”
“She was a b$©®?!”
There, see? That wasn’t so hard to find…”. (And they unlocked a few truths together).

Netherlands: Dutch Government not obliged to repatriate families of IS members, court rules
The Dutch Government won its appeal against an earlier judgement ruling that The Netherlands is obliged to repatriate 23 Dutch wives of IS (Islamic State; formerly ISIS/ISIL) militants detained in camps in Syria, along with their 55 children to the Netherlands. The hearing took place in a court in the Hague on Friday.
“The decision was that the Dutch Government does not have to pick up these children and these women from Syria right now. What the judges say is that it is a political decision and it is not up to the judges to decide whether they should do this or not,” said Andre Seebregts, the lawyer of the Dutch women.
He added that they “were hoping we would have a better decision. There have been decisions which were a lot better for the women and children in the camps, in Belgium, in Germany. The first decision we had from the lower court was good for us and now in the appeal we have lost, so we were expecting that we would have also win this appeal.”
According to Seebregts the case could be taken to the Supreme Court, but said the process may take a long time while the families are in a very difficult condition and their needs very imminent. “Winter is coming, many children have died in the Winter the last couple of years, more will die in these camps.” Seebregts said.

In 2016 post, Fiona Hill called Trump’s election a ‘version of a Bolshevik revolution’
War Room November 22, 2019
Ed. – So: she’s not really a Russia expert. No one could say something like that — see citation at the link — who knew anything about the Bolshevik revolution. The Bolsheviks coming to power wasn’t about what the Russian people voted for at all. It was about the Bolsheviks exploiting the inherent weaknesses in a very sketchy multiparty system, subservient to the Czar and the state police, through which no unified or effective political power was really exercised. The Bolsheviks moved in on that infrastructure and took it over in back-alley factional maneuvers; they never got mass approval in popular voting. They then had to pull off a coup with blood in the streets and fight a civil war to actually take over the country. But Hill also seems to bait and switch, and conflate the Bolshevik revolution with Putin’s rise to power 80 years later — a conflation that works for very few purposes, and certainly not for illuminating Trump. Her characterization is mind-bendingly off-base.]

10-year-old charged with sexual assault at Maryland school
By Ben Bowles November 23, 2019
t’s a parent’s worst nightmare: that their child will be on a school playground that is poorly supervised when a stranger wanders in and makes sexual advances toward a helpless child. Only in this case it was an inside job. The culprit, moreover, was one of the child’s classmates.
NBC Washington reports that a 10-year-old student at a Maryland elementary school has been charged with fourth-degree sex offense and second-degree assault following an incident on a playground.
The boy and two others attacked three fourth-grade girls at the Gale-Bailey Elementary School playground on Oct. 29, parents tell reporters.

Far-Left Extremists ‘Toast’ Murder of Two Italian Police Officers (breitbart, Nov 23, 2019)
https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2019/11/23/far-left-extremists-toast-murder-two-italian-police-officers/
“A group of demonstrators, believed to belong to the far-left anarchist scene in Trieste, toasted the murder of two police officers who were killed by a migrant last month.
Dominican national Alejandro Augusto Stephan Maran brutally murdered police officers Pierluigi Rotta and Mateo Demenego on October 4th after the migrant stole one of the officer’s firearms and shot the pair with it.
In footage released this week, protesters are seen celebrating their deaths while demonstrating outside the prison holding the killer, newspaper Il Giornale reports.
In the video, a woman can be heard on a megaphone or microphone describing the murdered officers as “mercenaries”.
“Theirs was a conscious choice. Some people do it for the salary, some because they think they can help, some want a minimum of power. They fell doing what they did: that is, a service that damages freedom,” the speaker said.
“In the bars of the city there were toasts for the death of the two policemen. A part of the city does not cry because it knows what the men in uniform do to those who rebel every day,” the speaker added.
According to Il Giornale, the incident is said to have occurred last weekend, and that anarchists are likely the ones responsible due to the logos on the banners that are seen in the video…”
Germany Again Deports Lebanese Convict After Asylum Attempt (breitbart, Nov 23, 2019)
https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2019/11/23/germany-again-deports-lebanese-convict-back-beirut/
“German authorities have again deported a Lebanese man who was convicted of drug dealing and deported earlier this year but then returned to Germany.
The German news agency dpa reported that Ibrahim Miri was handed over to Lebanese authorities on Saturday in Beirut.
Miri was earlier deported to Lebanon in July and was banned from re-entering Europe’s visa-free Schengen travel area, which includes Germany. However, he somehow reappeared in the German city of Bremen last month, applied for asylum and was arrested. After his asylum application was rejected, he tried to appeal but a Bremen administrative court on Friday rejected Miri’s appeal.
His case has made headlines in Germany, with some alleging that Miri’s ability to return to Germany showed the country’s allegedly lax handling of asylum requests by criminals.”

Libya’s Coast Guard Intercepts 284 Europe-Bound Migrants (breitbart, Nov 23, 2019)
https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2019/11/23/libyas-coast-guard-intercepts-284-europe-bound-migrants/
“Libya’s coast guard says it has intercepted 284 Europe-bound migrants off the country’s Mediterranean coast.
Saturday’s statement says the migrants were intercepted in four separate operations off the coastal towns of Zawya, Garabulli and Abu-Kemmash, and the city of Tripoli. The four boats were stopped Wednesday.
The statement says the migrants were handed over to authorities in Tripoli and were taken to detention centers.
Libya has emerged as a major transit point for migrants fleeing war and poverty to Europe. In recent years, the EU has partnered with Libya’s coast guard and other local groups to stem the dangerous sea crossings.
Rights groups, however, say those policies leave migrants at the mercy of armed groups or confined in squalid detention centers rife with abuses.”
Syrian Refugee Imprisoned for Spreading Islamic State Propaganda (breitbart, Nov 23, 2019)
https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2019/11/23/syrian-migrant-imprisoned-spreading-islamic-state-propaganda/
“A 32-year-old Syrian with refugee status in Germany has been sentenced to one and a half years in prison for spreading propaganda for Islamic State.
The Higher Regional Court of Celle sentenced the 32-year-old Syrian on Thursday after finding him guilty of calling for others to support the terror group and circulating videos of brutal executions carried out by its members, German tabloid Bild reports.
Investigators found around 50,000 photos and video files on the Syrian’s mobile phone, many of which featured scenes of torture, beheadings, and terrorist attacks.
While the prosecutor in the case called for a two-year and ten-month sentence, the lawyer for the Syrian claimed a lack of evidence demanded an acquittal in the case. The judge, instead, handed down one and a half years in prison with no probation.
The conviction comes only days after a cell of three radical Islamic extremists, a German-Macedonian and two migrants from Turkey, was arrested in the city of Offenbach on charges of plotting a terrorist attack.
The operation that led to the arrest of the trio involved 170 police officers and investigators say the three purchased materials to create a bomb and had also searched the internet to acquire firearms. All three previously expressed support for the Islamic State.
Germany has seen other arrests of potential terror plotters this year as well. In June, a Tunisian migrant and his wife were brought before a court after being accused of planning to use the deadly biological agent ricin to produce a bomb.
Sief Allah H, 30, had previously been in contact with members of Islamic State and had offered to help them spread propaganda. He published jihadist material online in 2018, according to prosecutors.
Last month, neighbouring Switzerland also conducted raids on Islamic State-linked jihadists, arresting 11 people, five of them underage.”

https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2019/11/23/reports-iraqi-minister-suspected-of-social-benefits-fraud-in-sweden/
“Swedish media reports say Iraq’s defense minister, who holds dual Iraqi-Swedish citizenship, is suspected of illegally receiving benefits in Sweden.
Local media, citing a Swedish defense official, reported that Najah al-Shammari claimed child and housing support for years despite living in Baghdad. Al-Shammari and Swedish officials weren’t immediately available for comment.
Swedish news agency TT said Friday that al-Shammari, who assumed his post in June, is registered to live in a Stockholm suburb.
Swedish newspaper Expressen reported Saturday he moved to Sweden in 2011, received citizenship in 2015 and was reported to authorities, along with his wife, earlier this month for suspected benefits fraud. He allegedly continued to claim social payments years after returning to Iraq.

Italy to Deport Imam Who Beat Children at Religious School (breitbart, Nov 23, 2019)
https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2019/11/23/italy-to-deport-imam-who-beat-children-at-religious-school/
“A 23-year-old Bangladeshi imam faces deportation from Italy after investigators confirmed he had physically assaulted young children at a religious school.
The migrant, who lived in Italy on a work visa, is said to have created what investigators described as a “climate of terror” at a Quranic school in Padua and engaged in humiliating young pupils and physically assaulting them, sometimes with a stick, Il Giornale reports.
The beatings of the children, who were aged between five and ten years old, took place at the Bangladesh Cultural Centre in the Arcella district of Padua. Investigators noted that the 23-year-old would engage in physical violence against the children for as little as a wrong answer or catching them being distracted.
Agents of the General Investigations and Special Operations Division (DIGOS), which investigated the case, also found photographs and posts of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler and proposed that he may have also been teaching the young children antisemitic ideas.
Italy has deported several radical imams in recent years, including a Tunisian earlier this year who came into the country illegally and declared to police that he would not only kill them but he would eat their corpses as well.
Last year, another Tunisian imam was expelled from the country after it was found that he celebrated the Berlin Christmas market terror attack from his prison cell. The imam was already in prison for robbery and drug dealing.
The former Italian coalition government of populist Matteo Salvini’s League and the Five Star Movement (M5S) led all of Europe last year for deportations of radical Islamists. Both illegal immigration and prison radicalisation have led to a growth in the number of jihadists in the country.
Professor Paolo Branca, Islamologist at the Catholic University of Milan, has even claimed that some jihadists get arrested on purpose in order to be able to preach and radicalise others behind bars.”
Italian coast guard rescues 143 migrants from capsized boat (breitbart, Nov 23, 2019)
https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/italian-coast-guard-rescues-143-migrants-capsized-boat-67253616
“Italy’s coast guard says it has rescued 143 migrants who fell into the sea when their boat capsized in bad weather.
The coast guard said the rescue by four of its motorboats took place Saturday near Lampedusa, an Italian island south of Sicily.
It said the rescue was launched after a local citizen signaled that a 10-meter-long (33-foot) boat was foundering about a mile from Lampedusa.
The coast guard said no bodies were sighted and gave no indication if anyone was missing. But Italian state TV said two people were possibly missing.
A coast guard helicopter and airplane were among aircraft deployed for the rescue. Those rescued were taken to Lampedusa’s port.
Risking their lives, migrants set out in unseaworthy boats launched by Libya-based human traffickers.”
IS-linked Philippine militant behind suicide attacks killed (breitbart, Nov 23, 2019)
https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/linked-philippine-militant-suicide-attacks-killed-67248146
“Philippine troops have killed a “high-value” but little-known Filipino militant who acted as a key link of the Islamic State group to local jihadists and helped set up a series of deadly suicide attacks in the south that have alarmed the region, military officials said Saturday.
Talha Jumsah, who used the nom de guerre Abu Talha, was killed Friday morning in a clash with troops in the jungles off Patikul town in Sulu province, which has been rocked by three deadly suicide bombings this year, including the first suicide attack known to have been staged by a Filipino militant.
“One by one, we will hunt you down,” Maj. Gen. Corleto Vinluan Jr., the commander of military forces in Sulu, said in a warning to the militants. “I am reiterating my appeal to them to surrender and live a normal life instead of being hunted down as fleeing criminals.”
Jumsah’s body was found by troops Saturday nearly a kilometer (about half a mile) from where troops clashed with his group near the mountain village of Tanum in Patikul, provincial military spokesman Lt. Col. Gerald Monfort said.
U.S. and Australian anti-terrorism units have been helping monitor Jumsah, who had laid low but played a key role in plotting attacks, training militants and arranging the entry of Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian militants to the southern Philippines, military officials said.
Military units had specifically targeted Jumsah along with Abu Sayyaf commander Hajan Sawadjaan for their roles in recent and planned suicide attacks.
A member of the brutal Abu Sayyaf militant group in Sulu, Jumsah was one of a handful of Arabic speaking local militants who developed strong contacts with the Islamic State group, helping the Middle East-based militant network to establish a presence in the southern Philippines after major battle defeats in Syria and Iraq.
Jumsah served as a bomb-making instructor and arranged the transfer of foreign funds and movement of foreign militants for the suicide attacks. He also acted as an Arabic translator for militant ceremonies joined in by foreign militants shortly before they set out to die in suicide bombings, a military combat officer told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because of a lack of authority to speak publicly…”

Pakistan summons Norway’s ambassador over burning of Quran (abcnews, Nov 23, 2019)
https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/pakistan-summons-norways-ambassador-burning-quran-67252473
“Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry says it has summoned Norway’s ambassador to convey the deep concern of the government and Pakistani people over the recent burning of Islam’s holy book by a Norwegian man that was caught on video.
In Saturday’s statement, the ministry said: “Such actions hurt the sentiments of 1.3 billion Muslims around the world.”
The statement demanded action against the person in the city of Kristiansand who desecrated the Quran at an anti-Islam rally last week. Pakistan’s reaction comes after video surfaced on social media showing a non-Muslim man burning the book.
In the video, a Muslim youth is seen jumping over a fence and kicking the person burning the Quran. The incident drew nationwide condemnation, with many Pakistanis praising the youth as a hero for defending the Quran.”

Americans whose memory of public events goes back more than a news cycle or two may recall Terry Jones, a previously obscure Gainesville, Florida, preacher whose announcement in 2010 of a plan to burn copies of the Koran drew public condemnations from then President Barack Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and the top US military commander in Afghanistan, Gen. David Petraeus. Secretary of State Robert Gates phoned Jones personally and asked him not to go ahead with the burning.
In the end, Jones put off his planned 2010 action, burning one Koran in 2011, another in 2012, and hundreds on September 11, 2014.
Jones did not escape legal consequences for these actions. In 2011 he was jailed for a few hours in Dearborn, Michigan, by authorities worried about the possible consequences of his planned participation in an anti-Islam rally, but the ACLU took his side and a county court ruling upheld his First Amendment rights. He was fined $271 in 2012 for violating Gainesville’s fire safety rules. A planned mass burning of Korans on September 11, 2013, resulted in an arrest for transporting fuel, but this verdict was overturned by a circuit court judge. In short, although high-ranking federal officials from the president on down were concerned about Jones’s activities, and although some local officials overreached in their efforts to squelch his plans, the courts ultimately protected his rights.

‘What’s a girl seeking, alone at night?’ German mayor’s ‘victim-blaming’ blasted as immigrants accused of gang-raping teenager
The mayor of a German city was forced to apologize for his comments about a shocking gang rape case, which has drawn a new wave of criticism toward the country’s lax immigration laws.
The crime occurred in the city of Ulm in the southwestern Baden-Wurttemberg state on Halloween but police only reported it this week. The 14-year-old victim was walking late and met with a group of teenage boys and men in their early 20s, one of whom she knew. She agreed to go to the home of one of the suspects and was gang-raped there.
Three suspects were subsequently arrested, while two more remain at large. At least two of them were confirmed by police to be asylum-seekers but their nationality or country of origin was not revealed.
Mayor Gunter Czisch was “shocked” by the crime, telling Sudwest Presse that “Ulm is a safe city but there is no such thing as absolute security.” The official then quickly made something of a detour, to ostensibly chastise the girl’s parents.
I wonder, however, what a 14-year-old-girl would want in Ulm at night. Parents have a duty to ensure that an underage girl does not walk around the city alone. I want to be clear: we all have to take our duties seriously if we want to prevent cases like this one.
His words immediately raised many eyebrows on social media, as commenters accused the mayor of being tone-deaf and engaging in victim-blaming. “The gentleman’s empathy is just cold,” one person said. “Unbelievable… who elects such people?” asked another.
Czisch quickly apologized, insisting he was misunderstood. “Of course, the girl is not at fault. The blame for this act lies solemnly and clearly on the suspected perpetrators,” he said.
Some critics felt that the official’s attitude reflects the government’s lax immigration laws and controversial ‘open doors’ policy with regards to asylum-seekers from the Middle East and Africa, which have flooded Germany since the mid-2010s. “Mayor Czisch wants to distract us from viewing crimes as being tied to irresponsible immigration and asylum policies. Quite pathetic,” one Twitter user said.
One lawmaker, from the anti-immigration ‘Alternative for Germany’ (AfD) party, Martin Reichardt, argued that Czisch’s words exposed the “deceptive” rhetoric of the government. “Their failed asylum policy created thousands of such ‘isolated’ crimes,” he said.
An AfD politician from Ulm, Markus Moessle said that the authorities should focus on making the city safer for locals, rather than “a safe heaven” for asylum-seekers from abroad.
Migration remains a hot-button issue in German politics, as a number of terrorist attacks, rapes and other high-profile crimes were committed by asylum-seekers and refugees in recent years. In November, a failed asylum seeker murdered an 87-year-old-woman during a robbery attempt. In January, a refugee from Afghanistan stabbed a pregnant woman in a hospital, causing her to lose her baby.
During the 2015-2016 New Year’s Eve celebrations, hundreds of women in Cologne and other cities reported being sexually assaulted by gangs of migrants.

Recruiting for Jihad
“Recruiting for Jihad” is a Norwegian expose on the practices extremist Muslims follow to recruit young men to fight for ISIS.
During filming, Adel Khan Farook, one of the two filmmakers, had unprecedented access to a radicalized network of Muslims in Europe.
He met them through Ubay-Dullah Hussain, a notorious recruiter, currently serving a nine year sentence in a Norwegian prison.

Prince Andrew is advised not to fly to America ‘in case he is unable to return’ as he confirms he WILL speak to FBI and Buckingham Palace ‘braces for subpoena’
Prince Andrew could be arrested and trapped in America if he jets across the Atlantic to speak to the FBI, a senior British lawyer warned today.
Baroness Helena Kennedy QC, a prominent human and civil rights lawyer from Scotland, said she would advise the Duke of York to meet agents in London instead.
Andrew signalled he would speak to FBI detectives investigating billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein as he readied himself for a subpoena from US lawyers demanding he gives evidence under oath.

Fiona Hill Testifies that Obama Was Putin’s Puppet
While the fake news media are trying to convince you that Trump investigating the obvious and blatant corruption of the Biden family in Ukraine is a crime, one of their witnesses declared that Obama danced to Putin’s tune.
Fiona Hill testified that Obama refused to give military aid to Ukraine despite the fact that the “interagency” — the unelected wonks like Vindman who think they not Trump should run foreign policy — said that the U.S. should provide weapons to Ukraine to defend themselves against the Russian invasion.
Hill testified that Obama refused to provide lethal aid to Ukraine so as to not upset Putin.
That’s pretty clear evidence that Obama, not Trump, was in Putin’s pocket.
Hill’s testimony also creates problems for the Democrats’ impeachment narrative.

65,000 Houthi Violations Against Yemeni Children in 17 Provinces
https://aawsat.com/english/home/article/2004906/65000-houthi-violations-against-yemeni-children-17-provinces
“Local and international human rights organizations have accused Yemen’s Houthi militias of committing 65,000 violations against the country’s children since the end of 2014.
The organizations said in reports that the violations included killing children, recruiting them and depriving them of education.
The Yemeni Network for Human Rights and Freedoms, in collaboration with 13 international organizations, has monitored 65,971 violations against children in 17 Yemeni provinces between January 1, 2015 and August 30, 2019.
It said in a statement that the insurgents have killed 3,888, injured 5,357 and inflicted permanent disabilities on 164 children through indiscriminate shelling on densely populated neighborhoods.
The militias have abducted 456 children, who remain in Houthi-run prisons, and caused the displacement of 43,608 others, the statement said, adding that the group had recruited about 12,341 child soldiers.
The network urged the international community to break its silence and “take serious action to stop these violations against children.”
Social Affairs Minister Dr. Ibtihaj al-Kamal also called on international organizations dealing with children’s welfare to back the Yemeni government in adopting plans that support children and rehabilitate them.
Kamal said in a statement that “4.5 million Yemeni children have been deprived of education since the Houthi militias led a coup late 2014.”
She accused the insurgents of shelling schools and turning them into military barracks, sending children to battlefronts and adopting curricula that encourage hatred and threaten the social fabric.
According to Kamal, two out of three million Yemeni children, born since the war launched by the militias on the people, suffer from health problems, and many of them have died after failing to receive the appropriate vaccination or treatment in areas falling under the control of insurgents.
Children have also fallen victim to landmines planted randomly by the Houthis in residential areas and on roadsides.”
Syria Kurds Say Repatriated US Child, German and Children
https://aawsat.com/english/home/article/2005316/syria-kurds-say-repatriated-us-child-german-and-children
“Syria’s Kurds have handed over an American toddler and three German children and their mother to their respective governments, a Kurdish official and a Kurdish source said on Saturday.
After years of leading the battle against the ISIS group in Syria, the Kurds hold hundreds of foreign men, and thousands of related women and children suspected of links to the extremists.
Abdelkarim Omar, a senior official with the Kurdish authorities in northeastern Syria, said the handover went ahead on Friday.
“An American child and three German children with their mother were handed over to their governments,” he said in a statement on Twitter, according to AFP.
A Kurdish source said the American girl — who was born in 2016 — was handed over to a US official at the Samalka crossing with Iraqi Kurdistan, but could not provide any further details about her parents.
Germany’s Bild newspaper has reported the American child was the daughter of the German woman’s first husband, who was a US citizen.
Germany on Friday said it was repatriating its first ISIS suspect, and that she and her three German children had crossed into Iraq on their way home.
Spiegel magazine named the mother as Laura H., 30, and said she and her children had been living in the overcrowded Al-Hol camp for the displaced in northeastern Syria.
She is believed to have travelled to Syria from Giessen in central Germany in March 2016, and to have joined ISIS that summer.
The Kurdish authorities have repeatedly urged Western countries to repatriate their nationals linked to ISIS, but they have been largely reluctant to do so.
A Turkish invasion of northern Syria last month sparked concern of a mass breakout from Kurdish-held jails and camps.
Germany had already brought home a handful of orphans, but no adults until Friday.
Austria, France and Belgium have also repatriated some orphaned children, while the United States has repatriated several women and their children.
An Albanian boy taken by his mother to join ISIS in Syria returned to his home in Italy earlier this month.
Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kosovo have all repatriated dozens of women and children.”
Egypt Signs $430-Million Gas Deal with Texas’ Noble Energy
https://aawsat.com/english/home/article/2005311/egypt-signs-430-million-gas-deal-texas-noble-energy
“Egypt said on Saturday it had signed several multimillion-dollar energy investment accords including a $430-million deal for Texas-based Noble Energy to pump natural gas through the East Mediterranean Gas Company’s pipeline.
Under another agreement with Noble, which will also be financed by the US International Development Finance Corporation, the energy company will manufacture petroleum products in partnership with Egyptian company Dolphinus Holdings.
The cabinet detailed the plans at the end of an Africa investment forum held on the site of the country’s planned new administrative capital in the desert east of Cairo.
Amsterdam-based Lekela also announced the start of construction work on its West Bakr wind power plant, which will have a capacity of 250 megawatts and require a total investment of $350 million.
Lekela CEO Chris Antonopoulos said Siemens Gamesa will build the West Bakr plant in the Gulf of Suez, creating an expected 550 jobs, according to the cabinet statement.
Egypt signed an agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) worth $201 million to improve the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company’s electric grid, and the lender will also finance a new asphalt production unit for the Suez Oil Processing Company worth $50 million.
The EBRD signed further deals with Sarwa Capital Holding and state-owned Banque Misr to issue 500 million Egyptian pounds ($31.13 million) in securitization bonds for the government’s New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA).
NUCA, 51% owned by the military’s engineering authority and 49% by the housing ministry, is developing Egypt’s as yet-unnamed new capital.
The International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation and the African Export–Import Bank also made available the first $100 million tranche of a $500 million loan to boost Egypt’s trade with other African and Muslim countries.”
Amnesty: At Least 115 Killed in Security Crackdown on Iran Protests
https://aawsat.com/english/home/article/2005331/amnesty-least-115-killed-security-crackdown-iran-protests
“Amnesty International announced Saturday that at least 115 people have been killed by security forces as authorities continued to quell protesters.
In a tweet, the agency said: “According to credible reports we have continued to receive, security forces in Iran have unlawfully killed at least 115 protesters.”
“We believe the real number is much higher and are continuing to investigate,” it added.
“We urge states to bring Iran’s authorities to account,” it demanded.
Protests began in several areas on November 15 after the government announced gasoline price hikes of at least 50% and imposed rationing. The unrest spread to at least 100 towns and cities as demonstrators demanded senior officials step down.
The US imposed sanctions on the Iranian information minister on Friday for his role in a nationwide internet shutdown meant to help stifle the protests.
On Thursday, Iran’s National Security Council that had ordered the shutdown approved reactivating fixed-line internet in some areas after a five-day outage.
The restoration of the internet, slow on the first two days, sped up on Saturday, with observatory NetBlocks saying network data showed connectivity was up to 64% of normal levels.”
Nearly 5,000 unaccompanied refugee children in Greece
https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20191123-nearly-5000-unaccompanied-refugee-children-in-greece/
“The National Centre for Social Solidarity announced that the number of unaccompanied refugee children on Greek territories has amounted to 4,962.
The centre confirmed in a statement on Thursday, that three quarters of these children are living in “inadequate conditions” in the camps.
Local media outlets reported that the main shortages in the camps include the limited access to food and clean water, and insufficient government support and legal regulations.
The media outlets also pointed out that the situation of unaccompanied refugee children has been gradually deteriorating.
Dr. Apostolos Veizis, a Médecins Sans Frontières volunteer, described the situation in the Greek islands as “criminal”.
“We take care of about 100 children every day. More than half of them face problems caused by inappropriate camp conditions, such as skin diseases and respiratory disorders,” explained Veizis.
Dimitra Lenard, lawyer of the non-governmental organisation Arsis, confirmed that 99 unaccompanied refugee children are being held in a closed camp in Amigdalza, Greece.
“Some children have been sleeping on a concrete floor for 50 days. This is worse than humiliation and inhumane treatment,” added the lawyer.
Gabriel Sakellaridis, director of Amnesty International’s Greece office, disclosed that 1,200 unaccompanied children have disappeared across the country.”
Iran warns regional states of consequences if they stoked unrest
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-iran-gasoline-protests/iran-warns-regional-states-of-consequences-if-they-stoked-unrest-idUSKBN1XX07O
“Iranian Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri on Saturday warned regional countries of consequences if it is proven that they meddled to stoke recent unrest in Iran.
“Some countries in the region should know that they will not have an easy life in the region if clues are found that show they intervened to create unrest in Iran,” said Jahangiri, quoted by the semi-official news agency Fars.
Iran has blamed “thugs” linked to exiles and foreign foes – the United States, Israel and Saudi Arabia – for stirring up unrest following hikes in gasoline prices which led to the some of the worst violence in a decade.
Iran’s regional rival Saudi Arabia and its arch-foe Israel have backed U.S. moves to reimpose sanctions that have crippled Tehran’s economy, after Washington withdrew from the Islamic Republic’s 2015 nuclear deal with world powers.”
U.S. and France vie to bolster Gulf security after Saudi oil attack
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-bahrain-summit/u-s-and-france-vie-to-bolster-gulf-security-after-saudi-oil-attack-idUSKBN1XX0MP
“The United States and France are boosting Saudi Arabia’s radar systems following crippling drone and cruise missile attacks on Saudi oil infrastructure in September, which Washington blames on Iran.
The chief of the U.S. Central Command and France’s defense minister, whose countries have taken divergent approaches to Iran, also touted rival versions of maritime missions to protect Gulf waters at a Bahrain security forum on Saturday.
More than two months after the biggest assault on Saudi oil facilities, Riyadh and Washington have yet to provide concrete proof linking Iran to the attack while Saudi Arabia has provided few details about how it is addressing gaps in its air defenses.
Tehran denies involvement in the strikes that initially halved the crude output of the world’s top oil exporter and led the United States to send thousands of troops and military hardware to the kingdom.
“We continue to refine information on the attack against (Saudi state oil firm) Aramco and that will be released principally through the Saudis,” said General Kenneth McKenzie, who oversees operations in the Middle East and South Asia.
“We are working with the Saudis to increase the networking of their systems. That will make them better able to defend against this type of threats,” he told reporters.
McKenzie said boosting the U.S. military presence at Prince Sultan Air Base south of Riyadh, in addition to large bases in Qatar and Bahrain, would “complicate an adversary’s ability to target you”.
French Defense Minister Florence Parly said Paris was separately sending Riyadh “a robust package of advanced warning”, including radars, to confront low-altitude attacks.
“It will be in Saudi Arabia in the coming days so it will be operational very, very rapidly. But there is an analysis to be done in order to better identify how to fill the gap,” she later told reporters…”
29 arrested for bank fraud across UAE
https://gulfnews.com/uae/29-arrested-for-bank-fraud-across-uae-1.68029836
“A total of 29 suspects involved in a banking fraud have been arrested in a major operation carried out by the Abu Dhabi Police in cooperation with both the Dubai and Ajman Police.
The suspects – all Asian – were part of four gangs that would regularly try to access people’s bank accounts by way of a scam. The suspects would call potential victims and try to dupe them into divulging their bank account details by telling them that their account or cards needed to be updated.
Brigadier General Mohammad Suhail Al Rashdi, director of the Criminal Security sector at Abu Dhabi Police, said the police was committed to tackling this type of criminal activity, and also thanked both the Dubai and Ajman Police for their cooperation.
Brigadier General Omran Ahmed Al Mazrouei, director of Criminal Investigations Department at Abu Dhabi Police, said the suspects were arrested at their places of residence, which they were using as call centres.
Al Mazrouei said that 25 of the suspects were located in Ajman, with the other four in Dubai, and that the arrests took place over different times.
Al Mazrouei urged members of the community to report any fraudulent attempts on their bank account by contacting their nearest police station or by the Aman toll free number (8002626).
Brigadier General Muslim Al Ameri, deputy director of the Criminal Security sector, said that bank account holders should not respond to phone calls asking them for their banking details.
The latest bust is one of several that have been carried out this year targeting banking fraud gangs. In August, three gangs with 25 suspects were arrested for fraud. Another major bust took place in April, with 24 suspects being arrested. In February, two other gangs were rounded up; their operation was so sophisticated that members would receive monthly salaries and incentives for their criminal activity.”
Morocco Denies Refusing to Discuss Moroccan Asylum Seekers with Netherlands
https://www.moroccoworldnews.com/2019/11/287479/morocco-denies-refusing-to-discuss-moroccan-asylum-seekers-with-netherlands/
“Yesterday the Dutch deputy minister of justice informed the lower house that diplomatic channels had said there was no one available from Morocco to speak to her about the repatriation of failed Moroccan asylum seekers.
“That is incorrect. (…) We have no idea where this information came from. Neither our Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rabat, nor us [the Moroccan embassy] have been approached by the Dutch government for a request to talk about this,” a spokesperson of the Moroccan embassy to the Netherlands told the Dutch news outlet RTL Nieuws.
Deputy Minister of Justice, Broekers-Knol, was unable to clarify the issue yesterday and referred it to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The move drew criticism from other members of Dutch parliament.
A miscommunication
Following the weekly meeting of the council of ministers, Sigrid Kaag, minister of foreign trade and development cooperation stated, “it is out of the question that the Dutch government would not be welcomed by Morocco. It’s an agenda matter that has resulted in a misunderstanding of words,” reported by the Dutch news outlet NOS.
Kaag did underline, however, that the topic is sensitive: ”The deputy minister would like to discuss the matter in person, or at a different location. Right now it is a question of finding the right moment, with the right people.”
In his weekly press conference, Prime Minister Mark Rutte said that the misunderstanding has been resolved but did not elaborate further, stating that “a meeting will take place as soon as possible, but international diplomacy is a poor subject for press conferences.””
Musharraf seeks suspension of high treason trial
https://tribune.com.pk/story/2105489/1-musharraf-seeks-suspension-high-treason-trial/
“The ailing former military ruler, General (retd) Pervez Musharraf, has petitioned the Lahore High Court (LHC) to stay the proceedings of a special court trying him for “subverting the Constitution on November 3, 2007” until he recuperates and appears before the court in person.
The three-judge special court, which has been hearing the high treason case against Musharraf since 2013, reserved its verdict on November 19 after the prolonged trial during which members of the bench continued to change due to various reasons.
The verdict will be announced on November 28 in the absence of Musharraf, who had flown to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in May 2016 for ‘medical treatment’ and has not returned since to face the court. The high reason charge carries the capital punishment in Pakistan.
However, ahead of the verdict, Musharraf has filed a writ petition under Article 199 and nominated the federation as respondent through the secretaries of Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Law, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) through its director-general and the special court through its registrar.
The former president told the court that due to his deteriorating health, multiple life-threatening ailments and his ageing mother, he has not been able to return to Pakistan, despite a strong desire.
He requested the court to pass direction and declare the impugned order passed by the special court on November 19 as unconstitutional. He also requested the court to uphold the fundamental rights of the petitioner guaranteed under the Constitution…”
