A large collection of foreign unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has been showcased in Tehran, at a display inaugurated by high-ranking military and government officials on Saturday. It will run from 22 September to October 7, Iran’s state-run media reported.
The centrepiece of the exhibition, “Hunting Vultures”, was the debris of a heavy US surveillance drone, a RQ-4 Global Hawk which was downed in June.
The Iranians claim to have identified it as an advanced variant of the UAV MQ-4C Triton, although the US insists it was a prototype version of an RQ-4A drone, constructed during development of the Triton.
Iran also displayed the anti-aircraft system that is said to have brought it down, as well as the type of missiles used during the interception, with the Khordad-3 missile launcher displaying a kill mark for the downed US UAV…

Iran: ‘Foreign forces’ in Gulf ‘can cause problems and insecurity’ says Rouhani
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that “foreign forces can cause problems and insecurity” in the Gulf region, while speaking at an annual military parade in Tehran on Sunday, just days after the United States announced that it would be deploying additional troops to the Middle East following the recent attacks on Saudi oil facilities.
Rouhani also extended “the hand of friendship” to neighbouring countries for regional cooperation.
“We are ready to even forgive their [neighbouring countries’] past mistakes, because we are in conditions that the foes of Islam and the region, meaning the United States, arrogance and Zionism are seeking to take advantage of division,” said the Iranian president.
He added that Iran will present a plan at the United Nations that will show how regional cooperation can “create security for the Persian Gulf, the Oman Sea and Strait of Hormuz.”
Footage also shows the parade including various missile systems, such as the Bavar 373 and Sejjil.
US Defense Secretary Mark Esper announced on Friday that Washington would be deploying more troops and military equipment to the region at the request of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The drone attacks on September 14, which struck an oil processing facility in Abqaiq and the Khurais oil field, were claimed by Houthi militants operating in Yemen but both the US and Saudi authorities have accused Iran of being responsible, although Tehran has repeatedly denied this.

The former mayor of Riace was arrested in October of 2018 on charges of aiding illegal migration, embezzlement, and abuse of office, although the charges of embezzlement were later rejected.
The prosecutor of Locri presented a motion in front of the Court of Review of Reggio Calabria involving a precautionary measure that could see Lucano placed under house arrest during the trial, with a decision expected in the next several days.
The pro-migration mayor became well-known across Italy as early as 2011 for his open door policies for asylum seekers and was even hailed as the saviour of Riace by the BBC in an article which claimed he “turned the asylum seekers’ arrival into a win-win situation for all sides.”
While Riace was famous across Italy for its pro-migration policies due to Lucano, the European Parliament elections held this year saw the small town swing in an entirely different political direction.
Populist leader Matteo Salvini and his League (Lega) party won the most votes in the town, polling over 30 per cent.
Just before the election, Salvini slammed Lucano, saying, “When I go to Calabria, people ask me for more work, not more immigrants.”
During his time as Interior Minister, Salvini oversaw a massive reduction in the number of newly arriving illegal migrants but the new leftist coalition government looks set to reopen the borders to NGOs operating migrant transport ships.

“I don’t think this type of posturing helps,” he said. “I think what helps would be to end the war in Yemen…I think it’s all going the wrong direction in addressing this issue,” the foreign minister said.
WSJ: Houthis Say ‘Iran Planning Follow-Up Attacks’
On Friday, a Wall Street Journal report citing ‘informed anonymous sources’ alleged that senior Houthi officials had ‘warned foreign diplomats’ that Iran, which has denied any involvement in last week’s attacks, was “preparing a follow-up strike” to the ones which “crippled Saudi Arabia’s oil industry”. Houthi officials were said to have ‘raised the alarm’ about the possible attacks “after they were pressed by Iran to play a role in it,” the WSJ claimed, citing sources.
Iranian and Houthi officials have yet to comment on the WSJ story. The Yemeni militia had previously repeatedly claimed responsibility for last Saturday’s attacks, and called efforts to suggest that anyone other than themselves was responsible a sign of “cowardice”.
Separately Friday, Yemen’s Houthi militia movement officially warned that Saudi Arabia would face new, “more painful, deadly and destructive” attacks if the Saudi-led coalition’s “ongoing shelling, blockade and aggression” of Yemen continued.
On Saturday, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Jubeir, who has also blamed Iran for last week oil facility attacks, stressed that Saudi Arabia would “do whatever it takes to prevent our country from sustaining damages,” while adding that “war is always the last option”.
Drone Tensions
Tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran began escalating last week, after Houthi militants launched drone attacks against two major Saudi Aramco oil facilities, temporarily shutting down a major proportion of the country’s energy production capabilities. While the Houthis claimed responsibility for the attacks, the United States almost immediately blamed Iran, and claimed that the attacks were launched from Iranian airspace and used Iranian weapons systems.
The Houthis have launched dozens of missile and drone attacks against military and infrastructure targets in Saudi Arabia over the past several years, striking everything from airports and military bases to US missile defence systems and cities using small drones and ballistic missiles. A coalition of mostly Gulf countries began a military intervention in Yemen in March 2015, seeking to defeat the Houthis and restore ousted Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi to power. The coalition has accused Iran of supplying the Houthis with advanced weapons. Iran has denied these claims, pointing to the tight blockade in place against the war-torn country.”

Egypt: Protests and clashes enter second day
Egypt has seen a second night of clashes and dozens of arrests in rare demonstrations against President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi.
About 200 demonstrators took to the streets in the port city of Suez demanding his resignation.
Dozens were reportedly arrested and police responded with tear gas.

Italy also proposed that the migrants it receives should be distributed among EU member states based on an automatic quota system, an idea Hungary firmly refused.
New Italian foreign minister Luigi di Maio said Italy has been living in permanent migration alert, mainly due to the “indifference” of countries such as Hungary. Di Maio proposed that member states who do not take in their share of migrants should be severely penalized.

Rather, the state’s leading law enforcement authorities offered an ambitious but vague solution far removed from gun control: a first-of-its-kind effort to predict mass shooters before they attack. It would train police across the state how to recognize threats. The new alert system would require police, local governments, medical providers and the public to share more information about their fellow Floridians than ever before.
“I know that sends shivers and shudders through those that champion privacy concerns and rights and mental health rights,” State Attorney Phil Archer, president of Florida Prosecuting Attorneys Association, told lawmakers during a Monday hearing. “Everybody’s going to have to give a little.”

He called the Senate Finance Committee’s decision to probe the Obama administration’s 2015 approval of the sale of Henniges Automotive as a “wonderful development.”
Schweizer examined China’s acquisition of Henniges Automotive — a formerly America-based company developing “dual-use” technologies with military applications — by Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), a Chinese state-run military contractor. AVIC acquired Henniges in 2015 with a 51 percent stake purchase. The remaining 49 percent was purchased by Bohai Harvest RST (BHR), a private equity firm founded by Hunter Biden and funded with $1.5 billion from the Chinese government via the Bank of China.

Approximately 7,500 security forces were involved in the effort to police the events, while 163 people were arrested. The Yellow Vest movement is now in its 10th month of protests despite French President Emmanuel Macron granting a series of economic concessions to reduce taxes and boost minimum wages along with other employement benefits.

On Friday, Macron called for “calm,” adding that while “it’s good that people express themselves,” they should not interfere with legally authorized protests and other events scheduled for Saturday.
Yellow Vest leader Jerome Rodrigues called Saturday’s protest a “revelatory demonstration,” adding that “many people are going to come to Paris.”
Officials again outlawed protests on the Champs-Elysees avenue and other areas in the heart of the capital, where previously protesters had ransacked and set fire to luxury shops and restaurants during previous rallies.
Police on the Champs-Elysees used teargas and batons to scatter protesters who tried to violate the ban there.
Police headquarters said some of the protesters had carrying hammers and petrol canisters.
But one demonstrator, who identified herself only as Brigitte, said: “We are being treated like criminals.” -AFP
The use of teargas and stun grenades on climate protesters drew harsh rebuke from climate activists, such as Greenpeace and French climate group ANV-COP21, which denounced the harsh treatment.

Angry crowds attack Syrian businesses in Turkey over sexual abuse allegation
A Turkish official told MEE that misleading rumours had been deliberately spread in Adana that the suspect was Syrian
Dozens of locals in the southern Turkish city of Adana attacked and looted businesses and shops belonging to Syrian refugees after social media gossip claimed that a Syrian had tried to rape an 11-year-old, according to local media reports.
The media broadcast images of young individuals hitting pull-down shutters while others shout, “hit, hit, these are Syrian shops”.
The police intervened to disperse the crowd with pepper spray and water cannons but the attacks and protests continued throughout the night.
The Adana Govenor’s Office released an official statement on its website in response to the violence: “A report transmitted to our police force on Thursday night at 7:00pm claimed that an 11-year-old child was sexually abused by a person in his 20s who speaks good Turkish and is considered to be one of our citizens. An investigation is proceeding against the said individual.”
A Turkish official with knowledge of the incident told MEE that the suspect wasn’t Syrian.
“Eyewitnesses say he was Turkish. But some people deliberately circulated that he was Syrian,” the official said.
“The police are still trying to apprehend the individual.”
Police forces arrested 25 suspects who are believed to have damaged Syrian businesses or made calls on social media to do so.
This is not the first time Syrian businesses have been targeted in Turkey. In July, dozens of Syrian shops were looted by angry crowds over alleged verbal abuse by a Syrian boy toward a Turkish girl.
Inter-community tensions have been high in Turkey, which hosts more than 3.5 million refugees since the beginning of the civil war in Syria.
A poll commissioned by the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) this month indicated that 77 percent of people in Turkey have negative feeling toward Syrian refugees, while 73 percent perceive them as a security threat.

I think the transcripts flagged by the unnamed intel community whistleblower will show that Donald Trump threatened to withhold foreign aid to Ukraine unless the Ukrainian leader fired a prosecutor who was investigating a company that paid Donald Jr. and Eric millions of dollars. Following this demand the Ukrainian prosecutor was fired and the investigation terminated.
But wait, there is more. The Trump boys also flew to China with their Dad and snared a 1.5 BILLION Chinese investment in their hedge fun. I am sure you will agree this is impeachable.

The latest overly hyped Ukrainian scandal just blew up in their face.
For over two year The Gateway Pundit has been reporting on Ukrainian collusion with the Hillary Clinton campaign. For the past six months TGP has been reporting on Joe Biden’s criminal acts in Ukraine.
According to John Solomon it was the Ukrainians that initiated contact with the Trump administration and it was the State Department that encouraged Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani to meet with a top Ukrainian official in July in Spain.
