Like all the rages that went for spinners and nerf guns, cigarettes and tattoos, it took just one impressive group of narcissists. Then everyone has to have them. Ruled by a tyranny withought ever knowing it.
The old Bill Clinton Democrat Party was just as radical as the current Democrat Party, they just believed in taking smaller amounts of freedom away and taking longer to take us full communist. In many ways it is good that the radicals won the seats they did, otherwise we would still be tolerating the small reductions in our freedom and slouching along towards full Marxism.
