1. Brother of Manchester Arena suicide bomber arrested in UK
A key suspect in the 2017 Manchester Arena bombing that killed 22 people was arrested Wednesday at a London airport after being extradited from Libya, British police said.
Greater Manchester Police said Hashem Abedi, the younger brother of suicide bomber Salman Abedi, has been arrested for murder, attempted murder and conspiracy to cause an explosion likely to endanger life. He was taken to a London police station and is expected to appear in Westminster Magistrates’ Court in the coming days.
“This is clearly an important moment in the investigation,” British Prime Minister Theresa May said. “I hope it is a welcome step for the loved ones of all the victims.”

3. Militants behead 4 people in Egypt’s Sinai
(Funny, if it had been white people or conservatives, the headline would have read, “White supremacists” or, “Right wing extremists” but when its muslim terrorists who actually BEHEAD people, its “Militants”. And they wonder why we call it fake news.)
Egyptian security officials say militants have beheaded four people in the restive northern Sinai Peninsula.
The officials say the militants attacked a group of people in the small town of Bir al-Abd on Wednesday, beheading four and kidnapping a fifth after accusing them of cooperating with security forces.
The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to brief the media.
Egypt is battling an Islamic State-led insurgency in the Sinai that intensified after the military overthrew an elected but divisive Islamist president in 2013. The militants have carried out scores of attacks, mainly targeting the security forces and minority Christians.

5. French Police Station Attacked On Successive Nights With Molotov Cocktails, Fireworks
A police station in the commune of Les Ulis was attacked two nights in a row following the victory of the Algerian national football team over the weekend.
The police station was first targeted on Saturday night and then again on Sunday night when around 50 people attacked the station with Molotov cocktails, fireworks, and rocks, French newspaper Le Parisienreports.
Four police vehicles were also destroyed during the Sunday night attack but no officers were reported injured during the rioting.
Sunday night saw more violence in the Essonne department in Ris-Orangis where five individuals were arrested after throwing rocks and stones at police officers and in Corbeil-Essonnes where a group of between 50 and 80 people threw cinder blocks and glass bottles at officers.
Several hundred supporters of the Algerian football team blocked traffic in the centre of the city of Corbeil-Essonnes, where some clashes where reported.
6. Pupils and teachers ‘threatened’ with ‘big kitchen knife’ by terrifying school intruders
(The article is a whole page and has no more info than the headline. From the photo we can guess it is a Catholic school. But the total lack of info on what the argument was about and that the attackers had a huge knife, and that it is not thought to be ‘terror related’ makes one suspect it is muslims.)
8. Parliament attack: Salih Khater found guilty of two counts of attempted murder
Salih Khater, 30, had claimed he was looking for somewhere to buy breakfast when he careered into the gates outside the Palace of Westminster. Cyclists were left injured in the street after Khater drove into them. A jury today found him guilty of two counts of attempted murder.
On August 14 last year he drove into a security lane and crashed into barriers as two police officers jumped out of the way.
The attack was caught on CCTV footage which was played in court.
The Old Bailey heard Khater, of Highgate Street, Birmingham, wanted to cause maximum carnage and it was “miraculous” that no-one was killed.
But Khater claimed he came to London to find the Sudanese embassy to get a visa, “got lost” around Westminster and panicked.
The jury deliberated over two days before rejecting his explanation and finding him guilty of two charges of attempted murder.
Khater made no reaction as he was found guilty of the charges.
Twelve Israelis have been arrested in Ayia Napa in Cyprus over an alleged rape of a British woman, reports say.
Local media said police were called in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Cypriot police confirmed that 12 arrests were made and said the suspects would appear in court in Paralimni on Thursday morning.
A spokesman for the Foreign Office said it was “supporting a British woman who was assaulted in Cyprus and are in contact with local police”.
An Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman confirmed that 12 Israeli citizens were arrested and their families notified.
The Times of Israel said some of the men involved in the alleged attack were minors, and that the alleged victim was 19.

If it’s not the bums, it’s the typhus. Or the taxes. Or the rats and the environmentalists.
They’re actually interconnected in the vicious cycle that is lefty policymaking. Here’s more.
Pest control and public health experts are calling on California Gov. Gavin Newsom to declare a public health emergency over what they say is a sharp rise in the state’s rodent population.
Gov. Newsom would first have to explore ways to get the rats to vote Democrat and be counted in the census.
Over the past six months, there have been numerous, shocking accounts of city workers being bitten by rodents, police officers diagnosed with Typhus, and even a rat falling from the ceiling of a restaurant onto the menu of a patron.
If they requested straws, then Governor Newsom might agree to kill them.
(As I recall, a person killing a rat on their own property in California will be arrested and charged)

If we had honest media California would still be a nice place to live in, since we don’t have honest media California has turned into the first third world hell hole on North America. If the left has their way there will be a lot more states that descent into this chaos.

I would think that all three living together would call into question whether the marriage intent is genuine, which seems to be a lower bar of proof than delving into the identity of whoever she married. https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/free-books/fiance-marriage-visa-book/chapter1-6.html
