Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.
This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.
So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.
This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

Quirky. Missed the flavor of the city altogether.
“3.- POINT REYES ( CAL ) ”
NR: I may not know a boss-ton about Beantown, but if there’s on place I adore, it’s Point Reyes National Seashore. The following videos obviously were crafted by people who love the place like do. There’s few locations shown in them that I haven’t camped at, packed into, hiked over, driven past or hitchhiked through.
Pay close attention to the opening shots of Seven Mile Beach. It is one of the longest white sand beaches in the northern hemisphere. Shots of the Point Reyes lighthouse’s French-made, first order 6,000-pound Fresnel lens (which probably floats on a near-frictionless trough of mercury) are dazzling. From twenty-four vertical panels, its beams sweep around the horizon and create the Point Reyes Lighthouse’s signature pattern of one flash every five seconds.
As unique as its townships, Point Reyes is the windiest place on the Pacific Coast and the second foggiest place on the North American continent. The highest wind speed recorded at Point Reyes was 133 mph, and 60 mph winds aren’t uncommon. Rest assured that the few private residences remaining are handed down through generations of families to avoid losing their property rights.
Looking at a map, Tomales Bay backfills the north-coast cleft of where the San Andreas fault plunges into the Cascadia subduction zone’s southern edge as part of California’s ring of fire. During the April 18, 1906, earthquake, the Point Reyes Peninsula and the lighthouse moved north 18 feet in less than one minute! The entire park is a sturdy in seismology and stunning natural beauty.
Welcome to one of NorseRadish’s primo stomping grounds. Set a little breakfast for yerself and spend a few minutes touring one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
NR: Varlamov don’t know piddle from Point Reyes. Why all the outhouse shots?
Ah…
Sooooooo good ~

Police Kill Knife Attacker in Russia’s Chechnya
GROZNY (Sputnik) – A man was shot dead in the main city of Russia’s Chechnya after stabbing two officers, the regional interior ministry said. A traffic police officer stopped the suspect, who was driving a Hyundai in the center of Grozny at 6:05 p.m. local time and asked for his ID.
“The driver stabbed a police officer and a [National Guard] officer and was shot down”, the ministry’s spokesperson said.
A spokesperson for the National Guard in Chechnya said that their officer was off duty when he saw a man attacking traffic police and stepped in.
“The National Guard officer saw what was going on and shot his gun at the attacker and was wounded by him”, the spokesperson said.
He added that no civilian was hurt in the incident due to the officers’ quick reaction and professionalism.
The wounded were taken to a hospital. A smooth-bore rifle was found in the attacker’s car. Police are working to identify the attacker.

Shots fired near Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov’s residence after knife attack on police (VIDEOS)
Two officers were injured in a confrontation with an armed man during a routine ID check in Grozny, near the residence of Chechnya’s head, Ramzan Kadyrov. The assailant was shot dead by law enforcement.
A sharp knife was what met a Grozny police officer when he stopped a Hyundai vehicle and asked the driver for his papers on Sunday.
It’s anyone’s guess how the encounter would’ve gone if the scuffle wasn’t witnessed by a National Guard serviceman on his way home after a shift.
He swiftly pulled out his gun and fired at the attacker, but the man still somehow managed to injure the trooper.
Multiple gunshots can be heard ringing out on footage recorded at the scene, with the assailant killed on site, according to the police.
The policeman and the National Guard trooper were hospitalized with injuries, but medics said their injuries were not life-threatening.
A hunting rifle was discovered in the car of the attacker, who was reportedly identified as a 23-year-old local resident.

Breaking:
We live in a hole:
https://themindunleashed.com/2019/06/universe-higher-dimensional-black-hole.html
“We live in a hole:”
Not really breaking news but there you have it.
This reminds me very little of a student presentation in my 12th grade Advanced Placement Chemistry class—whose Cal textbook read like it was translated from another language—which dealt with the formation of black holes. The entire concept of multiverses eluded everyone in the room, except for those of us with any branes.
From iBritannica: For a mass as small as a human being, the Schwarzschild radius is on the order of 10^-23 cm, much smaller than the nucleus of an atom; for a typical star such as the Sun, it is about 3 km (2 miles).
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND that Sol’s diameter is about 864,938 miles (1.392 million km), across the face of which could be lined up 109 Earths.
The Schwarzschild radius [also called, gravitational radius] is named for the German astronomer and physicist Karl Schwarzschild, who investigated the concept in the early 20th century.
Ecktually, an early variant of the Big Bang theory posited that our physical origins arise from a collision between matter and antimatter singularities (i.e., black holes). The electrochemical configuration of reality-as-we-know-it is due to there being a deficit of antimatter during that otherwise mutual annihilation—the residuum of which then manifested as our familiar, matter-based universe.
Whether that is segmented from other Schrödingeresque (say that word ten times fast!) probability branching paths or perhaps even entirely differentiated time-space sequences of other realities that, effectively, are at right angles to all of ours is, at present, neither detectable nor measurable.
ONE INTERESTING POSSIBILITY is that the chronologically backward flowing—anticlockwise oriented or reverse time—subatomic particles (see Feynman) which randomly combine and annihilate in deep space to create vacuum energy may be of trans-dimensional origin. It’s one of the few sensible explanations for where all this energy comes from that permeates the otherwise empty cosmos: The lot of which only complicates speculation about where dark types of matter and energy originate.
Hawking’s musings about what can escape a black hole (e.g., the eponymous Hawking Radiation) led him to speculate as to whether matter—as in: “energy slowed down to the point of visibility”, per Einstein—is capable of transiting a singularity’s event horizon and still retain any “information”.
The term information refers to baseline energistic states like ionization, atomic spin, polarization, isotopic composition, and other chromatic shadings of picoatomic structure.
NOTE: — Normally, black holes are detected by fierce x-ray emission bursts which arise from the massive infalls of matter happening at galactic cores. Black holes are now known to rotate and this distorts time space around them in a manner similar to gravitic frame-dragging.
Think of it like centering and integrating another dimension at right angles to all others along a regular solar system’s ecliptic plane to create, effectively, a four-dimensional whirlpool that snaps apart ordinary stars and their gas giant planets like so much Lego.™ —
GIGANTIC DISTORTIONS of time space surrounding a rotating black hole create what is called an “accretion disk.” It is a gridlocked, light-year scale Saturnian-ring of inrushing nebulae and stellar or planetary matter. All of which logjams at the periphery of a singularity’s event horizon.
This occurs because—as with compressing a human being to the size of an atomic nucleus—matter is crushed down beyond its own gravitational radius into nearly pure energy as it enters a black hole. According to Boyle’s law, packing matter in close proximity generates heat and singularities are no exception. Coplanar—but also radiating less intensely in other directions—with the event horizon is a region where stars are compressed to smaller than the size of mountains. This is the source of those singularity x-ray signatures which astronomers detect on earth.
It is that “nearly pure energy” part of the story that interested Hawking and many of today’s cosmologists. Any interstitial “impurities” (again, those measurable ionization, spin, polarization, and isotopic states) that could make it across the event horizon represent real information.
If such an intact transit is possible—through what amounts to a plasma torch-like environment—it might presage some way of teleporting intact an object or human being through the branes separating multiverses and possibly one day, even through the fourth dimension itself.
Speaking of Eric Clapton’s pals and Elvis wandering though some branes…

Like I said, we live in a hole. Actually, NR, I could not post such an article without you and your scientific inclinations butting into my mind’s line. The “breaking” bit I thought was too funny to not throw in, considering multi-billion year timelines are concerned. Your description is fascinating, as well, but depicts these constructs somewhat like galactic toilets flushing matter out to an anit-matter sea. Well, so be it. Who the heck is a hill o’ beans like me to pass judgement on black holes? Maybe someday some real smart guy like Dystopia’s Deer Leader will figure it all out. Then, black holes will be trained to flush only commies and tards into that big cesspool in the sky. Alas, we should be so lucky. Justine, Obama, Merkel, Soros et al walking hand-in-hand to the ideological shithole is, in fact, reality. The only problem is that they try to drag the rest of us with them. –Would’ve been nice for Hawking to have figured out the black hole that is the fatherless child before he went and flushed himself, right, PC?
“Who the heck is a hill o’ beans like me to pass judgement on black holes?
Hangin’ Judge Roy Bean shure weren’t feared ta’, eh?
“Would’ve been nice for Hawking to have figured out the black hole that is the fatherless child before he went and flushed himself, right, PC?”
That would have required a spiritedness which Hawking’s broken body just wasn’t up to. Read either edition of, A Brief History of Time. It is an ultimate irony that the mind of one so confined roamed the spiral dust lanes at will.
If we hold any hope of comprehending trans-dimensional reality at its barest quantum or even string-theory level, then an understanding is required of the universe’s machinations at their broadest scales.
Just the newborn universe’s oscillation between its initial flare into existence followed by almost HALF A BILLION YEARS OF DARKNESS, as the cosmic soup cooled just barely enough—much the same way that molten silicon “freezes” into its monocrystalline state below 2,450 degrees F°, roughly ONE QUARTER the temperature of the sun’s surface—for photons to “solidify” out from the ocean of highly agitated quarks.
This was the age of re-ionization, that ended the period when, “the cosmos was so hot that all the atoms that existed were split into positively charged nuclei and negatively charged electrons. These electrically charged ions blocked all light from traveling freely.”
So, it’s “Flame on!” as Monad (i.e., the cosmic singularity)—the one point in the universe that is in simultaneous contact will all other points—or “Reality’s Third Eye”, winks wide awake. Then, for however long that kalpa-length eye blink lasts, it’s another half a billion years under the covers until someone remembers to hit the light switch. It sounds to me like The Creator has some pretty slow reflexes.
Then the universe reentered a new illuminated state—(somewhere around 13 billion years ago)—and, given enough time and the exact right conditions* thereafter, all that hydrogen gas turned into people.
AND NOW JAQUIE is going to teach us how to play the flute during break.
“It’s easy Eric. You blow in one end and move your fingers up and down on the other!”
Meanwhile, back at the branch (branching equation, that is) it ought to be equally easy for everyone to recognize how those “Dark Ages” before the re-ionization stage represent a crucial, formative and balancing phase in the cosmos.
Has anybody ever marveled at how—when poured into very still and very hot coffee or tea—cold cream will oscillate up-and-down and from side-to-side in the vessel? Cosmologists have used this thermodynamic process of equilibration (one of nature’s most fundamental) to describe the colossal shock wave of energy that reverberated through the almost-instantaneously expanding early universe.
THE REASON FOR mentioning all of this is that the exact length of cooling period and the particle density during those early dark ages probably have direct proportions that are reflected in the eventual resulting balance of hydrogen and helium at reality’s moment of birth. That cut-in-stone H vs He ratio (remember, no later addition or subtraction of matter is possible), represents one of the most basic cornerstones for defining the current state of electrochemical, 3-D space-time.
This is why the behavior of black holes is of such importance to cosmologists. They represent one of the few operating laboratories for observing the behavior of matter and space-time in its most disassembled state (much like conditions during the Big Bang’s earliest stages).

Prof with anger issues.
Thank you Jonnyu,
“The other day I jogged up the subway stairs and saw the homeless white boy again. “Can you get me something to eat,” he barked out to the river of people passing by. “Someone stole all my shit!” Scabs covered his mouth. He was sunburnt and thin. I ignored him but thought “Baby, you stole all mine.”
“White homeless poor in the ‘hood are a Rorschach test. I see in them the history of colonization, slavery and mass incarceration that makes their begging Black people for money ironic—if not insulting”
Such resentments in those living in the greatest country on Earth. And still, they do not go back to Wakanda – to the heaven and Earth they believe is rightfully theirs. The Marxist Dream of a place where everything’s fair to you.
Can you imagine that there are so many more pseudo-intellectuals of every variation, pridefully owning what they do not have?
Blame. The biggest achievement of a nobody.
“And still, they do not go back to Wakanda…
Who can blame them? After all, what sort of employment do they have to offer? Well, aside from Wak jobs?

A NorseRadish Musical Interlude
LINER NOTES: Alexis Korner is an unsung jazz-era master of British blues. Playing guitar and piano (not at the same time!) he led an offbeat assemblage of towering musical geniuses. Any reed players out there are challenged to try and follow the sweet meanderings of Dick Heckstall-Smith on alto sax. His is the sort of skilled fingering and syncopation one expects of Paul Desmond during his Time Out years.
Here is one of the gems from their classic album, Blues Incorporated. “Chris Trundle’s Habit” is the big band equivalent of a Brandenburg Concerto in terms of actually being able to hear the musicians having a riotous time making immortal music.
Should some street creds prove necessary, Korner is the one who saw Mick Jagger and Keith Richards perform at some night club and, after the show, told them, “You guys should start a band. You might make some money…”
NR: A taste of Dick Heckstall-Smith’s brilliance:
