Here We Go… Speaker Pelosi Slams Trump’s Proposed Merit-Based Immigration Plan as “Condescending” (VIDEO)
President Trump on Thursday will lay out a new immigration plan that would push the United States toward the kind of merit-based system many other nations use to control who comes into their countries.
Under the new proposal, the number of immigrants admitted into the country based on job skills would rise from 12% to 57%. In order to make room for more merit-based immigrants, the percentage of people allowed entry because they have family here would drop from 66% to 33%. In addition, the number allowed in via claims of asylum would also be cut, from 22% to 10%.
Nancy Pelosi doesn’t like this plan and says it’s “condescending.”
Pelosi and the Democrats want illiterate, low skill, dependent immigrants (legal and illegal) flooding into the US because it’s a huge voting bloc and will permanently entrench the Democrat party.

Trump Admin Liberates Venezuela Embassy in DC From Occupation by Pro-Maduro American Communists
The Embassy of Venezuela in the Georgetown section of Washington, D.C. was liberated by the Trump administration Thursday morning after a weeks long occupation by pro-Maduro American communists including the Obama and terrorist support group Code Pink. The arrests followed the posting on Monday of a warning to end the occupation.
The Trump administration recognizes the government of Juan Guaidó as the legitimate government of Venzuela over the claim to holding on to power by former president Nicolás Maduro. Austria: FPO politician creates ‘Ten Commandments of Immigration’ for asylum seekers
Freedom Party of Austria politician, and minister in the state government of Lower Austria, Gottfried Waldhaeusl, presented a list of ‘Ten Commandments’ for asylum seekers to follow, in St Polten on Thursday.
The document which will be handed to and signed by asylum seekers alongside other important documents when they arrive in Austria, includes rules on gender equality, taking responsibility, learning the German language, solving conflicts without violence and being grateful to Austria for the right to stay there, among others.
Speaking at an interview the politician explained: “I could have called it ‘7 golden rules’ but we live in the Christian Occident and because of our culture we live here according to the 10 commandments. So I think it is not bad if we do something positive here providing something without sanctions that is borrowing from the [biblical] 10 commandments according to which we live well here, too, without sanctions.”
One St Polten local said he didn’t “know if anybody has the obligation to express gratitude. Democrats plan to deliver a marathon public reading of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s 448-page report on Russian interference in the 2016 election, staged Thursday in a House committee room.

Nearly 150 years after electricity came to South Africa, the country is in the dark. The blackouts can strike at any time and then lights, hot water and even major industries vanish into the darkness.
Storing perishable food in the fridge has become a gamble. The meat you buy today may be inedible tomorrow if the rolling blackout arrives and lasts long enough to destroy all the food you cooked.
With rolling blackouts that can last for as long as twelve hours, South Africans have grown used to eating by candlelight and heating water the old-fashioned way. Those who can afford it have been stocking up on generators. But the demand is so high that it can take a month to even obtain a generator.
It’s not just homes and small businesses. Factories and mines are struggling to maintain the country’s industrial base when power can vanish for the entire workday. Traffic lights run off the same power grid and when it goes into ‘load-shedding’ mode, the roads become a snarled maze of honking cars.
South Africa is out of power. The load-shedding blackouts are a last-ditch effort to avert a national blackout that will send the entire country spiraling into a deeper and more enduring darkness.
When the big blackout comes the white genocide will start.

Mexican Illegal Assaults Border Patrol Agent in Texas

A U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent was assaulted near Eagle Pass, Texas, while he arrested a Mexican illegal alien and convicted drug-dealing felon who was previously deported several times, the government announced.
The assault comes as border-jumpers and human traffickers are becoming emboldened on the nation’s increasingly lawless southern border. Democrat resistance to President Trump’s plan to erect a border wall and lawmakers’ refusal to properly fund immigration enforcement efforts have no doubt made the already-dangerous border situation worse.
Mark Morgan, then head of the U.S. Border Patrol and now President Trump’s nominee to head U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement (ICE), told a congressional committee in September 2016 that Border Patrol agents “are among the most assaulted law enforcement personnel in the country.”
“There have been 7,542 assaults against agents since 2006, and 30 agents have died in the line of duty since 2003,” Morgan said at the time.

The media is attacking President Trump, this time for the administration’s refusal to sign the Christchurch Call.
A project of the New Zealand government in response to the mosque shootings there, the Christchurch Call has been widely endorsed by governments and tech companies. It contains various general statements about the importance of combating terrorism, violent extremism and extremism.
It never actually defines extremism.
It claims that its agenda is in keeping with various human rights measures. But, again, it never defines its terms.
The Christchurch Call to have companies remove terrorist material is sensible. But that doesn’t involve the government. And since major social media companies have already agreed to do it, there’s no actual point in the administration signing on. The larger initiative however is freighted with issues of free speech and with a troubling obsession with obsessively policing the internet.

White House Offers Americans Tool for Reporting Social Media Free Speech Violations

In response to the growing dot com crackdown on conservatives, the White House has rolled out a new bias reporting tool for ordinary Americans.
“The Trump Administration is fighting for free speech online,” the White House account tweeted.
“SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS should advance FREEDOM OF SPEECH. Yet too many Americans have seen their accounts suspended, banned, or fraudulently reported for unclear “violations” of user policies,” the Tech Bias Story Sharing Tool site sites. “No matter your views, if you suspect political bias caused such an action to be taken against you, share your story with President Trump.”
This may be the beginning of a larger effort by the White House to hold dot coms accountable. It also puts Facebook, Google and Twitter on notice.
Michael Beckerman, president and CEO of the Internet Association, a trade group representing both companies, reiterated that “IA member company platforms don’t have a political ideology or political bias, and it would make no business sense for companies to stifle the speech of half — or any significant portion — their customers.”
It makes no sense. Yet the fact of the matter is that they are choosing to do it.

Add the trade war with China to a long list of crises driven by greed and globalism that President Trump inherited from a series of prior administrations, from both political parties
Since President Trump declared that, unlike previous U.S. Presidents, he would no longer permit China to ride roughshod over the United States, Wall Street whined about how a trade war with China would be costly to America and Americans by causing products from China to cost more; and likely diminish American exports to China as China retaliated by increasing tariffs on those U.S. goods.
For Wall Street, the bottom line is the bottom line. This is a very short-sighted and dangerous example of myopia, focusing on profits while ignoring threats to U.S. national security.
First and foremost, China is ruled by a totalitarian communist regime that is guilty of reprehensible human rights violations against its own citizens and is clearly working rapidly to expand its reach around the world by building its military capabilities.

The argument that the US must take an apologetic stance towards the theocratic establishment of Iran is being repeatedly made without the evidence of any effectiveness to back it up.
Former President Barack Obama created this policy, and insisted that it would be successful. Even as Iran flaunted its disregard for the American government, as well as human life, President Obama would continually apologize to the Iranian leaders. He made it sound as if America was to blame for initiating the hatred that the Iranian government projects toward the United States.
But let us get the historical facts straight. Hatred and deep antagonism towards the US, Israel and the Jews are indispensable pillars of the Islamic Republic of Iran. When the ruling mullahs came to power in 1979, it was not the US that started the hatred by criticizing or opposing the ruling clerics. In fact, former President Jimmy Carter welcomed the Islamic Republic and viewed Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini as a good religious holy man. According to recently declassified documents, the Carter administration even paved the way for Khomeini to return to Iran.
Such amicable behavior and support from the US, however, did not change Tehran’s policies. The Islamic Republic still publicly declared its revolutionary ideals, which, from the outset, included standing against Israel and the US.

Muhammad Syazani had also planned to launch a suicide bomb attack at a non-Muslim house of worship in Malaysia,” he said.
Indonesian labourer Nuruddin Alele@Fatir Tir, 34, was arrested in Banting, Selangor, after tip-offs. Mr Abdul Hamid said: “He had been exposed to the ideology of the Islamic State (in Iraq and Syria) during his five-year incarceration in Surabaya, Indonesia. He also planned attacks on non-Muslim houses of worship in the Klang Valley.”
The arrests followed previous swoops that saw four men – two ethnic Rohingya, an Indonesian and a Malaysian – arrested earlier this month for allegedly planning to attack temples and churches, and kill high-profile individuals, to avenge Malay-Muslim fireman Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim, who died from injuries after a riot at the Seafield Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in Subang Jaya on Nov 27.

Security sources told Anadolu Agency that Turkish authorities were holding 565 Moroccan migrants in the western Edirne province near the Turkish-Greek border.
In addition to Moroccan citizens, the list of the migrants also includes citizens from Palestine, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Syria.
The news agency also reported that a minibus carrying 16 undocumented migrants from Morocco and Algeria crashed in Edrine.
The crash injured 11 people, including the driver.
Like Morocco, Turkey has been one of the routes used by refugees, and undocumented migrants seeking to cross into Europe.
The Turkish Ministry of Interior said that nearly 268,000 undocumented migrants were arrested in 2018.
“The migrants were mostly Afghan, Syrian and Iraqi nationals,” said the news outlet.
In recent years, the Moroccan government has also been faced with significant numbers of undocumented migrants entering the country. Due to these high numbers, Morocco has collaborated with Spain to curb the flow of immigration.
The Spanish government has repeatedly supported Morocco, calling on the European Union to assist the North African country over migration.
Earlier in May, Spanish Minister of Defense Margarita Robles said that her country has “full confidence in the collaboration with Morocco.”
Spanish news outlet ABC quoted the Spanish Ministry of the Interior, saying that the number of irregular migrants in Spain dropped by 52% from April 2018 to April 2019.
ABC emphasized that the significant decrease is thanks to Morocco’s efforts.”

“On a tip-off, the CTD conducted a raid in the Kabo Koh Mehran area of Mastung district. However, terrorists hiding in the area opened fire on the security forces,” said CTD sources, confirming that nine hardcore terrorists had been killed in the exchange of fire.
The terrorists, belonging to various armed groups, were involved in carrying out attacks on security forces and citizens of Balochistan, said the sources.
“A heavy cache of arms and explosive material, meant for committing acts of terror in Balochistan, have been seized in the operation,” they added.
The four CTD personnel injured during the exchange of fire with terrorists were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The bodies of the terrorists have been shifted to the hospital for identification.
On May 11 (Saturday), three terrorists attacked the Pearl Continental in Gwadar, Balochistan, in which five people, including a Pakistan Navy soldier, were martyred.
During the clearance operation conducted by security forces, which lasted until Sunday afternoon, all the three terrorists were killed.
On Monday (May 13) night, at least four policemen were martyred and 12 others, including policemen, were injured in a blast near a mosque in the Satellite Town area of Quetta.
Police said an improvised explosive device planted in a motorcycle went off close to a police mobile parked outside the mosque for security during traveeh prayers.
It is being said that unidentified persons parked the explosive-laden motorcycle near the mosque and later detonated it by remote control.”

“Ramadan has since long turned into a political object in Western politics. When Madeleine Albright first started to organize iftar (fast-breaking) dinners at the White House during the Clinton era, many Western governments in Europe started to follow her newly introduced tradition. Congratulating Muslims on the advent of Ramadan has become a political ritual for leaders of Western governments to show respect not only to the followers of the second largest religion in the world, but also to a growing and contested religious minority in their own lands.
At the same time, Ramadan has also become a disputed issue. With the rise of right-wing identity politics throughout the West, right-wing and extremist opposition parties have identified the accommodation of the month of Ramadan in the discourse of the political elite as a good fodder for their anti-elitist attacks.
And more recently, the issue of Ramadan has also been problematized by politicians of centrist-right and left parties. About one week before the beginning of the month of Ramadan, Germany’s Family Minister Franziska Giffey from the Social Democratic Party (SPD) spoke out against what she referred to as strict Ramadan-rules for pupils. Immediately, anti-Muslim leaning newspapers gave her a platform to discuss the issue, also inviting health experts to advocate for young kids not to fast. She said: “Children need to drink and eat regularly, otherwise they cannot be attentive, learn and develop in a healthy way. This is generally the case and also true during Ramadan.”
Franziska Giffey, who is currently going through tough times because of allegations of plagiarism regarding her PhD dissertation that she wrote back in 2010, has had some experience regarding this issue. During her days as the mayor of a Berlin district, she implemented what was called “Die Neuköllner Empfehlung ‘Ramadan und Schule’ ”, a list of 12 recommendations on how to deal with Ramadan at school. The list was signed by a number of local mosques and does not represent a blatant anti-Muslim agenda. But it was also ambivalent, opening up space for interpretation that could harm religious freedom. One of the most questionable recommendations is that fasting was hard work for young people and for whoever is working, and there are religiously justified exemptions from fasting. While Giffey’s list of recommendations was still rhetorically cooperative in regards to the Muslim community, Hessen’s Minister of Justice Eva Kühne-Hörmann from the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) went even further.
In the first week of Ramadan, she proclaimed that parents who force their young kids to fast during Ramadan should be fined, arguing they would thus be harming their kids’ health: “I am in favor of holding responsible those parents who bring up their children in a fundamentalist way and of their standing trial.” Indeed, it is not the first attempt of a nominally centrist-right politician to attempt to regulate the Muslim practice of fasting during the month of Ramadan, which is one of the five pillars of Islam. For some time now, some Germans are looking to their southern neighbor Austria, where the Christian-conservative People’s Party (ÖVP) formed a coalition government with the right-wing Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) and is implementing one anti-Muslim legislation after another. The ÖVP’s general secretary and spokesman on integration came up with the idea of imposing a blanket ban on fasting in Ramadan for pupils during school time. Trying to ward off criticisms that what he was saying amounted to the violation of the freedom of religion, he argued that this would be best for their health. Fortunately, the party did not follow up on his idea. But it was introduced and became seeded in the minds of people where it will be working its way. Following the example of the ÖVP, later in 2018, Inger Støjberg, the Danish minister for Immigration and Integration, published a blog post claiming that the Danish population was at risk when the Muslim minority was fasting during Ramadan.
While all the examples given are in the context of liberal democracies, we remember the indignation that went along the global media coverage of the Chinese government’s criminalization of any expression of Muslim religious identity, including fasting during Ramadan. In China, at the heart of the government’s campaign lies the desire to erase any sign of Islamic religious identity in the Communist People’s Republic.
But while China is an authoritarian state, what about the examples given above from liberal democracies? Are politicians on their way to questioning the essential pillars of liberal democracy itself? Such attempts at banning one of the five pillars of Islam for the young and youth and thus an essential practice of Muslim life demonstrate that anti-Muslim policy recommendations can be easily argued at the backdrop of a hegemonic anti-Muslim discourse. For the new generation being targeted, being Muslim is becoming more and more of a challenge and an obstacle while liberal democracies are running the risk of losing their essential democratic features.

Health officials say more than 400 people, many of them children, have tested HIV positive in recent weeks as experts warn of a surge in infection rates across Pakistan, due to the use of unsanitary equipment and rampant malpractice — often at the hands of quack doctors.
About 500 people test positive for HIV in Pakistani district; infected doctor arrested
Nothing seemed unusual to Rehmana Bibi, the mother of 10-year-old Ali Raza, when the boy came down with a fever at their home in the dusty, largely neglected district of Larkana in southern Pakistan.
Bibi took her son to a doctor, who prescribed acetaminophen syrup and told her there was no need to worry. But she panicked after being alerted that several children who initially came down with a fever had tested positive for HIV in nearby villages.
Alarmed, Bibi took Ali to a hospital, where medical tests confirmed the boy was among about 500 people, mostly children, who authorities say tested positive for the virus, which can lead to AIDS. A physician who has AIDS has since been arrested and is being investigated on suspicion of intentionally infecting patients.
“We were in great pain the day we heard about our son testing HIV positive,” she said Thursday.
Bibi said it was heartbreaking to learn that her child contracted HIV at such a young age. She said all her family members have been tested for the virus that attacks the immune system, but Ali was found to be the only victim.
Bibi said she has had sleepless nights from worrying and has been looking after her son since early this month when he was confirmed HIV-positive. She said she wants to see her son healthy and fully recovered as soon as possible.
Sikandar Memon, head of the AIDS Control Program in Sindh province, said that officials have screened 13,800 people from Larkana and that 410 children and 100 adults tested positive for HIV.
Nationwide, the Health Ministry has registered more than 23,000 HIV cases. Health officials have said HIV is usually spread in the country by using unsterilized syringes.
Authorities say the HIV outbreak in Larkana was apparently started when physician Muzaffar Ghangharo infected patients in early April. Ghangharo was arrested this month. Police are still trying to determine whether Ghangharo knowingly spread the disease.
Larkana is the home district of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, who was killed in a bomb and gun attack in the garrison city of Rawalpindi in 2007. Her father, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, also served as prime minister in the 1970s. He was hanged by military dictator Gen. Zia ul-Haq.
