The FBI has been collecting information on Americans who have been helping the migrant caravans heading to the US-Mexico border, and is now investigating an alleged plot by “anti-fascist activists” to purchase weapons from a Mexican drug cartel.
The San Diego Union-Tribune received the unclassified FBI reportfrom a source wishing to remain anonymous. The paper confirmed the investigation is ongoing with two additional law enforcement sources.
The investigation stems from a December 2018 scheme by the cartel to sell the weapons to activists. The man at the center of the investigation is Ivan Riebeling, described in the report as a “Mexico-based cartel associate known as Cobra Commander.” The report claimed the activists sought to “stage an armed rebellion at the border,” the paper reported.
These activists “planned to disrupt U.S. law enforcement and military security operations at the US/Mexican border,” according to the report.
The report, according to the Union-Tribune, stated that it was “an information report, not finally evaluated intelligence” and instructed agencies that received it “not to take action based on this raw reporting without prior coordination with the FBI.” The report had been sent to numerous government agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), CIA, NSA, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
2. The Media Cheers Government Censorship of the Internet
[Daniel Greenfield]
After Muslim terrorists murdered hundreds of Christians, the Sri Lankan government responded, as it had during clashes between Muslims and Buddhists last year, by shutting down social media.
The Sri Lankan government’s justification for the shutdown was that “false news reports” were being spread through social media. This excuse closely echoed the argument that the media in the United States had been making in its push for censoring Facebook after Trump’s victory to fight “fake news”.
If anyone thought that the media would react critically to a foreign government that ranks near the bottom in press freedom silencing social media, including citizen journalists, they were very wrong.
“Sri Lanka Shut Down Social Media. My First Thought Was ‘Good.’” the headline of a New York Timesop-ed blared. “Sri Lanka social media shutdown reveals Facebook’s Achilles’ heel,” the Washington Postechoed. The theme of both major media pieces was that social media was dangerous and that government shutdowns of free expression might be necessary to keep people safe from “extremism”.

4. Gunmen attack Christians near Ramallah after dispute involving PA official
Residents of a predominately Christian village in the West Bank have appealed to the Palestinian Authority to provide protection for them after they were attacked by a group of Palestinian gunmen.
The residents of Jifna, north of Ramallah, said the attack came following a dispute between a woman from the village and the son of a prominent Palestinian figure affiliated with the PA’s ruling Fatah faction.
The dispute erupted after the woman filed a complaint with the PA police in which she accused the son of the Palestinian personality of assaulting her and her children while she was driving her car in the village.
After the police summoned the man for questioning, his father and scores of gunmen arrived at the village and began hurling insults at the Christian residents. Some of the gunmen, villagers said, also fired into the air and demanded that the Christians pay the Jizyah – a per capital annual tax – called the dhimmi – levied on non-Muslim subjects living under Islamic rule.
5. Jeremy Corbyn endorsed book about Jews controlling banks and the press
Jeremy Corbyn wrote the foreword to a book which argued that banks and the press were controlled by Jews.
In 2011 he agreed to endorse a new edition of JA Hobson’s 1902 book Imperialism: A Study, four years before he was catapulted from backbench obscurity to the Labour leadership.
In his foreword Mr Corbynsaid the work was a “great tome”, praising Hobson’s “brilliant, and very controversial at the time” analysis of the “pressures” behind western, and in particular British, imperialism at the turn of the 20th century
(I wonder where Corbyn got these ideas?)

1 – I would like to think that antifa is so incompetent that they will always get caught when buying illegal firearms, I would like to but I am very afraid that this is just one of many attempts.
6 – Things are coming to a head all around the world, we are in for a very rough future.
Where’s the tank from?

“Project Gunrunner” drug cartel scandal”
CBS News – Published on February 23, 2011
“Project Gunrunner,” an operation run by the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, was designed to stop the flow of guns from the U.S. to Mexico’s drug cartels, but had the opposite result. Investigative correspondent Sharyl Attkisson reports.
Ivan seems far from leftist/Marxist and in fact seems to parallel a lot of the vigilante frustration we all feel in the west. Good fro him! As IF the government wont protect you then the vigilantes will at least seek retribution for you.
#1 Too weird for me to delve into- the Ivan guy.

A reporter using leaked documents without probing why or who did the leaking — what a racket! Who is trying to even the score out with Ivan, apparently using the FBI at no cost (except to US taxpayers)?
Looks weird to me, too.
Look ! Squirrel !
