Leftism and Islam and Germany: Links 1, April 25, 2019

1. Merkel-guest does the underwear street run with a bonus sucker punch to a local.

2. AfD now strongest party in East Germany – state election wins may force Merkel out early

Germany’s far right AfD party looks set for a huge election win in a bombshell vote that could force Angela Merkel out early.
The party stands a good chance of winning the most seats in the east of the country this autumn, which would be a serious blow to the German chancellor.
Although the AfD’s poll ratings remain in the low teens for Germany as a whole, it’s expected to seize control of dozens of councils in local elections next month, reports the Times.
In the 2017 general election, the nationalist opposition party came second to Merkel’s Christian Democrats (CDU) in the eastern states, with 22 percent of the vote.
Now the AfD is narrowly ahead, with 23 percent against 22 percent, a survey for the tabloid Bild am Sonntag has revealed.

3. So a far left wing, activist, race-hustling, PoMo ‘Journalist’ gets busted for DWI, claims the liquor store is all white supremacists for not selling her more booze when she is poo-visaged hammered, and unloads on the police. She and Smollett should start some kind of club.

4. Quite a good example of what white-privilege actually means.

5. Sri Lanka Minister: Most Easter Sunday Suicide Bombers ‘Highly Educated’ and Affluent

(It is nice to see a world-leader actually speak a little truth instead of that early 2000s Obama fiction about the issues which socialism concerns itself with, is what causes terrorism. These men where not poor, and did not lack for ‘education’. They were however, deeply and devoutly muslim.)

Most of the jihadis who targeted Christians in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday with a wave of suicide bombings that left hundreds dead and wounded at churches and high-end hotels are “well-educated people” from affluent families, the South Asian island nation’s deputy defense minister revealed on Wednesday.

Deputy Defence Minister Ruwan Wijewardene’s comments contradicted assertions by former U.S. President Barack Obama’s administration that a lack of economic opportunities is a top driver of Islamic terrorism.

(Even nicer to see that the Daily Mail actually brought up Obama’s fictions before I did!)

Thank you all for your amazing contributions over the past few days. There is a lot more to come. Technical issues may make posting a little different for a few days but rest assured everything is fine over here. Just a few temporary challenges to sort out.

And anyone not following @AmyMek on Twitter, should know its well worth the click to do so.

As time goes by and I discover just who, and how many enemies she has, as well as the caliber of those enemies, who thinks Amy is a dangerous person, I realize that by Churchill’s estimate, that a person should be judged by the number and quality of enemies they have, she is someone we all need to read.

  1. 5. Halal

“Some people are still so accustomed to idols that when they eat sacrificial food they think of it as having been sacrificed to a god, and since their conscience is weak, it is defiled. But food does not bring us near to God; we are no worse if we do not eat, and no better if we do.

Be careful, however, that the exercise of your rights does not become a stumbling block to the weak. For if someone with a weak conscience sees you, with all your knowledge, eating in an idol’s temple, won’t that person be emboldened to eat what is sacrificed to idols? So this weak brother or sister, for whom Christ died, is destroyed by your knowledge.”

  3. I don’t think political correctness has quite reached Sri Lanka yet, I hope it never does.
Does anyone know if the mosque buildings in France are owned by the State? Synagogues?

  4. Have a look at this Video from “Game of Truth”, she’s a former German Mainstream Journalist.
She raises quite a few interesting Questions about the Sri Lanka Terror Attack, the Christchurch Attack and the subsequent “muzzling” and cry for more monitoring of the Internet.

  5. Weren’t those guys, that did a few years ago the Terror Attack in Bangladesh, not also little rich Boys and devout Muslims?
    Islam is Islam and as Michel de Montaigne said;
“He who establishes his argument by noise and command shows that his reason is weak”
    and
“The conduct of our lives is the true mirror of our doctrine”

    • Yes they were, and so were the men who carried out 9/11.
OBL was a civil engineer with a millionaire father, who owned a construction corp and had ties with the KSA royal family.
al-Zawahiri is a surgeon, and owned a practice.
Further back in time: Carlos the Jackal was the son of a millionaire. Abu Nidal was an successful bussinessman. Yasser Arafat collected BMWs, his favorite paintjob was gold.
Even further back in time: Trotsky (Lev bronstein) was born to wealthy, landowning farmers. Lenin’s father was middle-class, rose to Director of Public Schools, and was granted a title. His mother was wealthy and educated.

The profile of the average european ISIS recruit is atypical: highschool dropout, criminal record, either sell dope or are employed as pizza delivery boy, rapper, or goverment-payed makework job.
The few that are middle class tend to have an engineering or military background, I suspect they were targeted by recruiters because of their skill sets.
