  1. Over and over again I see these “celebrity cases” and I am struck by how peripheral the charges they actually make against them are. In this case, they are screaming, “money laundering” but they also will say “bank fraud” or “lying to the FBI”. But I say, what about the actual thing? Those things weren’t even crimes when I was a kid. You could take twelve grand out of your own bank account without getting permission from the FBI and you couldn’t get five years for lying to them – that’s what criminals are supposed to do, after all…

Like, this case is supposed to be about bribery, not bank fraud or Rico statutes. They’re always trying to pile extra stuff on so they can justify a three-year-long trial and a staggeringly long sentence. Is bribing a school actually that big a deal or are they just making it a big deal for their narrative…? This is the same kind of stuff they’re sending Michael Cohen away with but there’s no there, there. They call them “procedural offenses” and I don’t see why they even count them when the primary offense isn’t strong enough to get the big sentence they always seem to want. It’s pretty clear that if they want to get you they damn well get you and that isn’t how it’s supposed to be…

  2. Every where modern liberalism exists there is corruption, the corruption either destroys the nation or destroys the liberal party, at times both. With luck our nations will survive but the liberal parties won’t.
