  1. ‘Let the West Burn’: Norway Reveals Radicalization in ‘Quran Schools’ Abroad (sputniknews, Dec 27, 2018)

“The Norwegian police have raised concerns about the ongoing radicalization process in so-called ‘Quran schools’ in Somalia, where kids from immigrant families residing in the Nordic country are sent, often against their will, by parents to avoid being “westernized.”

Police in Oslo have held talks with returning youngsters because of radicalization concerns over their stay at Quran schools abroad. Previously, youths with Somali backgrounds reported the widespread use of violence and abuse, including lashings and other methods of torture, they experienced during their educational trips to their “home country.”

Somali-Norwegian “Omar” told national broadcaster NRK about a school in Mogadishu, Somalia, where he, in addition to extensive violence, was subjected to brainwashing in an Islamist direction. Among other things, he told of an evening prayer they had to repeat every night.

“Let the West burn. Let it go to hell. Let God take the money from the West and give it to us,” “Omar” recalled.

?After numerous reports on the harsh conditions that Norwegian youth are exposed to inside the Quran schools in Somalia, the Ministry of Justice and Public Security asked the Norwegian police to present an overview of the situation. The Police Directorate summarized their findings in a report, which among other things, addressed the risk of radicalization.

“When you have schools where students are deprived of mobile phones and passports, as well as contact with the outside world, I think it’s much easier to involve these young people in the radicalization process,” Janne Birgitta Stømner of the new prevention unit at the Oslo police told NRK. “We have held some clarification talks with young people who have returned to check whether they have been radicalized,” she added.

One of the reasons why especially boys are being sent to Quran schools is parents’ concern that they have been involved in crime in Norway. Such corrective methods, however, have little to no deterring effect, the police reported.

“For those who have been sent away because they have committed a crime, there has been no positive effect, at least judging by the few examples we have seen. Our experience is that they continue on the criminal path when they return home, they strive after the environment they knew from before,” Janne Birgitta Stømner said.

Researcher and sociologist Inger Marie Holm of the University of Tromsø, who wrote a doctoral thesis on Somalis in Norway, argued that many Somali parents share the opinion that there is too little discipline in Norwegian schools, which they claim to undermine kids’ respect for both teachers and relatives.

“It may seem that parents sending their kids abroad are desperate. It also seems that they are not fully informed about the schools’ ways and proceedings,” Inger Marie Holm told NRK.

So far, however, only three youths have undergone preemptive interviews, and the police decided not to carry on with their cases.

The brutal pedagogical habits of the Somali Quran schools previously triggered national concern in Norway, with Prime Minister Erna Solberg arguing it was illegal for the parents to subject their offspring to this sort of treatment.

Children’s Ombudsperson Anne Lindboe argued that it was “no surprise” that children are being sent to schools abroad, where physical and psychological violence is not uncommon, calling for tighter measures, including revoking at-risk children’s passports.

Norway is home to over 40,000 Somalis, who constitute one of the largest population groups of non-European origin in the Nordic country of 5.2 million.”

    • Children’s Ombudsperson Anne Lindboe argued that it was “no surprise” that children are being sent to schools abroad, where physical and psychological violence is not uncommon, calling for tighter measures, including revoking at-risk children’s passports.

This entire situation suggests an entirely new European policy.

Simply confiscate all immigrant passports upon arrival such that they must request (with proper notice and vetting) clearance for ANY travel outside of the receiving country’s borders.

Enough of these imperiled “refugees” flying flying back to their “dangerous” homes for the holidays. No more trundling off to fight for ISIS (without a hellacious back story to cover you). And, most certainly: No sending children abroad for FGM or violent tuneups at some miserable, child-raping madrassa.

All of these “immigrants” typically have risked their lives (or so they would have us think) to arrive in the West. What immediate need do they have for any further traveling? Compassion flights for bereavement, urgent medical crises (i.e., organ, bone marrow transplant, blood donation) or other related emergencies would be taken under consideration.

Enough of this Where’s Waleed? horse hocky. As usual, Muslims want it both ways. Acting on this double standard alone should qualify all individuals (Islamic or otherwise) and families for instant repatriation to their country of origin, regardless of original asylum claims.

If your Islamic $h!thøle paradise is so violently dangerous, don’t dare be caught trying to sneak back home for a little Ramadan feasting. Your return ticket and entry visa may will be cancelled.

  2. Australia strips citizenship from alleged ISIS recruiter (straitstimes, Dec 29, 2018)

“The Australian government has stripped citizenship from a man it believes is a top recruiter for Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), Australia’s home affairs minister said on Saturday (Dec 29).

Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton said Melbourne-born Neil Prakash had been central to ISIS’s efforts in the Middle East, was “a very dangerous individual” and had his citizenship stripped.

“If given the opportunity Mr Prakash would harm or kill Australians and our country is a safer place for him having lost his Australian citizenship,” Dutton said in a televised news conference.

Prakash has been in Turkey on trial for terrorism-related activities since being caught there in October 2016 after leaving ISIS-controlled territory.

He is wanted in Australia over terrorism-related activities including an alleged plot to behead a police officer.

Under Australia’s citizenship laws, a dual national can lose their Australian citizenship if they act contrary to their allegiance to Australia by choosing to be involved in terrorism.

ISIS was declared a terrorist organisation in May 2016 for this purpose, the Home Affairs Office said in a statement, and Prakash is the 12th person to be stripped of citizenship so far.

Dutton said the law prevents the government from rendering somebody stateless so they must have Australian citizenship and citizenship of another country.

Prakash, whose mother was Cambodian and father was Fijian, held both Australian and Fijian citizenship through his father.

Dutton said Australia’s internal spy agency the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (Asio) had thwarted 14 attempted attacks including a plan to smuggle explosives onto an A380 flight to the Middle East.

“The threat is very real,” he said.

“The priority for us is to make sure that people like Neil Prakash don’t come back to Australia. We don’t want them here.”

Prakash has been notified of the decision by letter, and the Fijian government has also been notified, according to a source close to the Australian government.

Prakash has been linked to several Australia-based attack plans and has appeared in ISIS videos and magazines. Australia says he actively recruited Australian men, women and children and encouraged acts of militancy.

Australia has been pressing Turkey to extradite Prakash since he was first detained, but the request was rejected in July. It will remain in place until the conclusion of his case and any custodial sentence, The Australian newspaper reported.

Canberra cancelled Prakash’s passport in 2014 and announced financial sanctions in 2015, which cover anyone giving him financial assistance, with punishment of up to 10 years in jail.”

    • Australia’s Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton (a former police man) has been one of the creators of our “Stop the Boats” policy and one of the strongest defenders of Australia’s borders ever. So, of course, he is hated by the Left. I would have liked to see him as Prime Minister.

Unfortunately, the “March of the Left through the institutions” has given birth to a new batch of voters and after Australia’s next Federal Elections, (planned for May 2019) it will be a Labor Government, beholden to the Greens, the Unions, Get-Up and other sinister forces with a Deputy PM (Tanja Pilberseck) who called Israel a “Rogue State” and we will be lucky if Peter Dutton even keeps his seat.

    • Australia strips citizenship from alleged ISIS recruiter

This is all well and fine but, in all honesty, it’s only a good start. Prior to his deportation, Neil Prakash richly deserves interim government accommodations that cozily bunk him with a choice specimen of indiscriminate, twenty-stone outback bogan who’s been denied conjugal visits for the past few years. Female jailers, guards and cavity searchers would be nice extra touches.

Ensuring that all Muslim visitors to Western lands carry away the absolute most negative mental associations with having been there is every (surviving) nation’s duty to itself.

  3. Wild West Britain: Chilling figures reveal HORRIFIC extent of UK 2018 knife crime epidemic (express, Dec 29, 2018)

  4. WATCH Alleged US Helicopters Spotted Over Manbij Amid Turkey’s Looming Op (sputniknews, Dec 29, 2018)

“On Friday, the Syrian Arab Army said it had entered Manbij and raised the flag of the Arab Republic in response to a request from the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) to take control of the northern city amid Turkey’s impending offensive.

Two aircraft, believed to be US Army helicopters, were spotted flying over the Syrian city of Manbij on Friday shortly after Reuters cited the main Turkey-backed Syrian rebel force as saying that its convoys, along with Turkish forces, were heading towards the frontlines with the northern city, in “full readiness… to start military operations” to liberate it.

Earlier this week, Damascus announced the deployment of troops in the city after the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) called on the government to take control of Manbij as Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that Turkey was ready to kick off a military operation in the area.

Erdogan brushed off the reports on Manbij passing under the Syrian government’s control as a “psychological operation”, saying that the situation in the region remained “indefinite”.

While the situation around Manbij escalated after US President Donald Trump announced the withdrawal of US troops from Syria, Ankara has long been threatening to launch an offensive against the YPG, which it considers to be the Syrian branch of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), listed as a terrorist organisation by Turkey.”

  5. Gunbattles, anti-India protests in Kashmir mark deadly year (abcnews, Dec 29, 2018)

“Police and residents say anti-India protests and clashes have erupted in disputed Kashmir after a gunbattle between militants and government forces killed four rebels.

The fighting on Saturday comes as the region is already reeling under the deadliest bloodshed in a decade in which over 500 people have been killed.

Police say Indian troops laid a siege around a southern village in Pulwama area on a tip that militants were hiding there, leading to an exchange of gunfire.

The fighting sparked protests and clashes as hundreds of residents tried to march to the site of the battle in solidarity with the militants.

Government forces fired shotgun pellets and tear gas at the stone-throwing protesters. No injuries are reported.

India and Pakistan claim the divided territory of Kashmir in its entirety.”

  7. Heeeeeellllpppp !

Does anyone else have the problem I have which is:

I have to type out fully everything…name, email, Website …for each of my posts. It gets really tiresome. hmmmmpffff. (Even the most tacky Chinese online fashion-order-companies do the autofill, the reason why I probably order more often clothes in China that turn out too small, than posting here, even if I’m often burning to comment on some of the great material). Call me “lazy” but any advice for a short-cut would not only be greatly appreciated, but it would be an encouragement for posting more !

    • I have the same problem, I don’t know if it is because of the browser I am using or if it is on Vlads end. It can be a pain but Firefox gives me a couple of advantages when I save videos so I don’t try to find another browser.

    • When the Word Press nakba happened, I encountered the same problem. I use plain old Vanilla Mozilla™ and eventually twigged on how I only have to double click within the entry boxes to trigger a drop-down menu of previously used sign-in names or email addys (including every bloody last misspelled one of them!).

If there is no other option, consider creating a text block containing the inputs on individuals lines, drop it into the bottom of your reply, then cut and re-paste the various lines into the registration text boxes.

The secret is to keep a notebook, memo, or Word window open (even just a next-door tab can hold the text on an unused reply screen) with the text block already highlighted. You click on the document’s toolbar location, let the window open, hit Control–C, and go back to Word Press with the registration data on your clipboard.

This might seem laborious, but it allows almost all of the process to be performed with a very limited set of mouse clicks and short-cut keystrokes (as opposed to all the keyboard typing). Eff knows which method will give you CTS (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) the soonest.

Finally, you may wish to check your Word Press settings. Selecting another sign in option or just restoring default conditions might do the trick. If you’re really paranoid, install a “go-back” app to restore your system’s state prior to enabling any Word Press default settings.

      Hope this helps. NR

  8. “The federal government is coaching workers furloughed by the government shutdown how to negotiate with creditors and landlords – and advising them to offer bartering services for rent.”

And yet, batering is illegal when seeking employment.

A homeless person cannot be offered food, bed and work. Because if they are not paid the minimum wage you will be breaking the law.

Meaning: Small businesses and local communities struggle to grow. Everyone in need, forced into the Welfare System or die.

Socialism = Power to the Oligarchy

Bartering services for rent will be made illegal too as it discriminates against those who paid the full amount.

  9. German Mosque Tax: State Has to Act More Decisively Against Radicalisation – MP (sputniknews, Dec 29, 2018)

“German lawmakers are considering introducing a “mosque tax” for Muslims in the country. In interview with Sputnik Thorsten Frei, the deputy head of Chancellor Angela Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union said that this step will allow Islam in German society to be de-coupled from financial and political influence by the UAE, Turkey or, Saudi Arabia.

Sputnik: You have noted that this was an important step as it will allow Islam in Germany to emancipate itself from foreign states. How likely is this legislation to be accepted by German states?

Thorsten Frei: Of course, the started discussion is just a beginning and I’m sure that legislative changes will be very difficult. At the moment, there are still many open questions and, of course, the federal states would have to be involved, because they collect the church tax. But basically, it is important that we talk about opening Islam to German society and decoupling it from financial and political influence from the Emirates, Turkey or Saudi Arabia. So we have the task to create a political framework to reach this goal, as Austria, for example, did in 2015.

Sputnik: In your view, why is this tax being discussed now?

Thorsten Frei: In Germany, there have been fears of Islam in the population for a long time. But since 2015, when many hundreds of thousands of Muslim refugees arrived in the country, worries have continued to rise. Especially because some of them do not respect our laws and reject our way of life. In addition, the Muslim communities are not very open in my view. The attack on the Christmas market in France two weeks ago was certainly the trigger for the new discussion on how to deal with Islam in Europe and in Germany.

Sputnik: Do you think this law will help combat the influence of foreign fundamentalist ideologies? How serious is foreign influence on German Muslims?

Thorsten Frei: This is difficult to measure, because of course not all Muslims go to the mosque and most Muslims feel very close connected to our country and our laws. But it is a fact that Muslim communities receive a significant part of their funds from foreign governments. And imams from Turkey or Saudi Arabia are also sent to Germany for service. It is quite clear that they are state-selected and carry the political propaganda of these countries in German mosques and thus in the minds of our citizens. But it is also clear that the mosque tax cannot be the solution for the entire complex. It certainly needs more of a package of measures, a political framework, how Islam can act moderately in Germany. This also means that the state has to act more decisively against radicalisation. But a crucial contribution to better integration in Germany is the separation of foreign funding.

Sputnik: How can this tax impact Turkish-German relations?

Thorsten Frei: I am convinced that President Erdogan will use the whole thing for domestic purposes. But we have been able to see exactly how he deals with such things for years. In that sense, this is an internal question and for me only the best for Germany counts. Turkish interests do not matter in that case.

The views expressed in this article are those of the speaker and do not necessarily reflect those of Sputnik.”

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the talks will focus on the situation in and around Idlib, as well as “what can and should be done” when the U.S. withdraws from Syria.

The Syrian military entered the Kurdish stronghold of Manbij on Friday as part of an apparent agreement.

  12. Swedish Police Expert Says Country Akin to ‘State At War’ Due To Gun Deaths (breitbart, Dec 29, 2018)

“Stockholm police expert Gunnar Appelgren has described Sweden as being like a “state at war” following a record number of 44 fatal shootings across the country this year.

Appelgren, who serves as the coordinator of the Stockholm police force’s gang conflict programme, said that the situation regarding gun violence was, “reminiscent of some form of state at war,” Swedish broadcaster SVT reports.

Police in Sweden have made 299 arrests from the start of this year until November, compared to a mere 58 arrests during the same period the year before.

They have also seized around 825 firearms in 2018, up 30 percent from 2017 and the number of hand grenades seized has also risen. The total number of shootings has reduced from 324 in 2017 to 272 in 2018, though the number of fatal shootings has increased.

Stockholm’s police have managed to make inroads into the problem of gun violence, the vast majority of which is related to gang crime, reducing the number of fatal shootings from nineteen in 2017 to eleven so far this year.

Police say their efforts in calming tensions among gangs in the heavily migrant-populated no-go suburb of Rinkeby are partially responsible for the lowering levels of violence.

“It is too early to draw any happy calculations. We will only see in three to five years if we have succeeded in breaking the trend,” Appelgren said.

In 2017, Sweden saw 43 total shooting fatalities, which has been surpassed in 2018 breaking the former record. According to Appelgren, the best way to reduce shootings is to reduce the number of firearms and hand grenades coming into Sweden from abroad.

Earlier this year, Bosnian prosecutor Goran Glamocanin claimed that Sweden had become the largest market for weapons originating in the Balkans saying, “According to the information we have now, the Swedish market is the most attractive in Europe. It is because of the high demand.”

Earlier this year Sweden also introduced a hand grenade amnesty in order to encourage criminals and others to hand in the explosive weapons without facing charges for possession.”

    • Appelgren, who serves as the coordinator of the Stockholm police force’s gang conflict programme, said that the situation regarding gun violence was, “reminiscent of some form of state at war,” Swedish broadcaster SVT reports.

Let’s do the math. Sweden imports droves of Somalis whose home country is in a perpetual state of war and expects precisely what to happen?!! Now, multiply this equation by all the different Islamic $h!thølés nations that these “immigrants” are from…

Hey presto! Sweden’s now imported a veritable Baskin-Robbins 31 Flavors of various and sundry, ultra-hostile scum from $h!thølé Third World cultures. As they settle in, then there comes the violence, sexual assaults, corruption, grooming, misogyny, polygamy, and drug-resistant diseases.

      What could possibly go wrong?

  15. Insurgents suspected in fourth day of south Thailand attacks (abcnews, Dec 29, 2018)

“Violence presumed to have been carried out by Muslim separatists has hit southern Thailand for the fourth day in a row, with three paramilitary soldiers wounded and a female civilian shot dead Saturday.

The soldiers in Narathiwat province were hurt in an ambush of their pickup truck, while the woman was killed in Pattani province.

On Friday night, four people in Narathiwat were wounded by one of several bombs suspected of being planted by the Muslim insurgents, security officials said, and there was a shootout between security forces and suspected insurgents who attacked a defense outpost at a small rural village.

The bombs mostly targeted utility poles and caused a blackout in one village.

Nearby Songkhla province on Wednesday and Thursday nights experienced similar small bombing attempts, including two that damaged well-known statues at a popular beach but caused no casualties.

No arrests have been reported for any of the attacks.

Drive-by shootings, roadside ambushes and bombings of utility poles have been common tactics used by Muslim separatists who since 2004 have been engaged in an insurgency that has wracked Thailand’s deep south and left about 7,000 people dead.

The insurgency has mostly affected the three southernmost provinces of Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat, which have Muslim majorities in predominantly Buddhist Thailand. Songkhla, with a substantial Muslim population, has generally been spared the violence, though its biggest city, Hat Yai, has suffered several bombings.”

  16. Family of John Kerry Fights for Wall Around French Property
    December 28, 2018 Updated: December 28, 2018 Share

The family of former U.S. presidential candidate and Obama administration official John Kerry is fighting for a wall around the French property they own, arguing that people shouldn’t have access to the public beach.

French law dictates that the country’s coastlines must remain open to all but property owners in Saint-Briac-sur-Mer have for years blocked access to part of the coast.

The coastline in question will finally open to all in January unless the latest round of lawsuits succeeds.

At the head of the refusal to obey French law is Brice Lalonde, the first cousin of Kerry. Their grandfather James Forbes bought the Essarts castle in the town in 1928 and it has remained in the family since.

A French biography of Kerry says his American parents met at the estate before World War II. Kerry speaks French and regularly spends time at the estate.

Toxic chemicals are formed as the e-liquid heats up to make the aerosol that e-cig users inhale. Some of these chemicals can cause inflammation and blood vessel damage responses, says Benowitz, who’s also a professor at the University of California, San Francisco’s School of Medicine. “In most preparations, they are much lower than you find in cigarette smoking, but they are of concern, no question about it,” he says.

            Those chemicals include:

            Formaldehyde: A probable carcinogen.

            Acetaldehyde: Another probable carcinogen.

Acrolein: Formed from heated glycerin, acrolein can damage the lungs and contribute to heart disease in smokers.

All three are released in increasing amounts as the temperature of the e-liquid rises. And, says Benowitz, users may be tempted to go for those higher temperatures.

“Unfortunately, the higher you heat the liquid, the more nicotine you get from it,” he says. “People who want to get a big dose of nicotine may use really high voltage batteries or an adjustable voltage battery.”

Goniewicz says flavors might mask the unpleasant taste that results when users heat their e-cigarettes to the point at which formaldehyde is made…

The tiny particles in e-cigarette aerosol also may be harmful. This is certainly the case for cigarette smoke and other air pollution, which can cause blood vessel damage, inflammation, and nervous system effects, Benowitz says.

E-cigarette aerosol has similar levels of particulates as regular cigarettes. But not enough research has been done on e-cigarettes to draw any conclusions about the safety of breathing in the particles they produce.

Toxic metals such as tin, nickel, cadmium, lead, and mercury have been found in e-cigarette aerosol, too. A 2013 study notes that some metals, such as nickel, occur in concentrations 2 to 100 times that of cigarettes.

            Above From:

NR: No way on earth could you get me to inhale any of that e-liquid piezen. Look up “dipping” to see where heavy vaping leads its users.

I continue to wonder how some high quality, well-processed, organically grown and cured tobacco stacks up against the garbage in RJR and Phillip Morris fags, or vaping liquids, or even märïjµäñä (which due to its non-physically-addictive nature and self-limiting intake levels—ever see anyone successfully smoke a pack-a-day of ¢äññäbïs?—makes its comparatively low levels of artificial ingredients reason enough alone to check it out.

I bet that well-controlled, empirical testing might surprise a lot of people. One old theory is that all of the chemical fertilizers and pesticides used in tobacco farming contain trace amounts of radioactive isotopes.

Inhaling these particles at elevated (i.e., burning) temperatures, into lungs already compromised by routine medical insult (i.e., years of smoking) only serves to assure near-maximized deleterious effects.

  21. BERLIN: German prosecutors on Friday announced war crimes charges against a female member of the ISIS group who let a five-year-old girl die of thirst in the scorching sun.
While living in then ISIS-occupied Mosul, Iraq, the 27-year-old German citizen identified only as Jennifer W. and her husband had purchased the child as a household “slave” in 2015, said prosecutors.

“After the girl fell ill and wet her mattress, the husband of the accused chained her up outside as punishment and let the child die of thirst in the scorching heat,” they said in a statement.

“The accused allowed her husband to do so and did nothing to save the girl.”

The federal prosecutors said they had laid the charges of war crimes, murder and weapons offences back on December 14 in a Munich court that deals with state security and terrorism cases.

  23. Caravan of 15K migrants to leave Honduras in mid-January as overcrowded shelters struggle

    OAN Newsroom
    UPDATED 9:57 AM PT — Friday, Dec. 28, 2018

Another migrant caravan is forming in Honduras and is preparing to head north. According to reports, the group of about 15,000 people is set to leave the Central American country on January 15, 2019. Migrants from El Salvador and Guatemala are expected to join them.

Advocacy groups said the new caravan will likely stay in southern Mexico, where the country’s president has promised them visas and employment.

This comes as thousands of migrants from a caravan, which left from Honduras in October, remain stranded at the U.S.-Mexico border and are overcrowding shelters in Tijuana as well as the southern U.S.

Richard: The regular readers remember when this was a major problem in Europe, now the organizers of the caravans are trying to collapse the system in the US the way they did in Europe. If the Dems succeed in their coup we can expect caravans this size or larger every week.

Another Central American migrant caravan is reportedly forming, but its final destination is not the U.S.-Mexico border, according to immigration activists and Mexican media.

As many as 15,000 people could travel in the migrant caravan scheduled to leave Honduras Jan. 15, according to reports cited by The San Diego Union-Tribune.

“We assume that this caravan … will pick up more people in El Salvador and Guatemala. But their aim is to arrive in Chiapas and request work there,” Irma Garrido of migrant advocate group Reactiva Tijuana Foundation said according to a story by Mexico News Daily Monday.

  24. The first liberal vulture circles, slams Ruth Bader Ginsburg for not resigning before now
By Ben Bowles December 28, 2018

It was only a matter of time before liberals — who five short months ago were willing to lay down their lives, or at least their vital organs, to keep Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the bench — began berating the octogenarian for overstaying her welcome.

Now the first stone has been cast, by the left-leaning Mother Jones, which has piece that takes aim not only at the 85-year-old Ginsburg but at the “cult” (the author’s word) that defended her choice not to retire while Barack Obama was still in office.

Washington bureau staff reporter Stephanie Mencimer doesn’t waste many syllables before getting to the recriminations:

  25. Rep. Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke (D-TX) believes the country must focus on the well-being of illegal immigrant migrant children “above any other concern.”
“We are very saddened to learn of the death of another child in U.S. custody,” he tweeted on Tuesday after a second migrant child died after crossing the border. “We must focus on the wellbeing of these children above any other concern.”

Note: what about the parental rights of the migrant children? Both of these children died as a result of infection (sepsis from an untreated sore in one, flu in the other) that their parents refused medical treatment for their children for.

Is the US now going to rip migrant children from their parents’ arms and subject them to unwanted medical procedures?

Would that not be as bad as sticking them in cages, like was done under Obama’s policies, until Trump put an end to this oppressive practice?

  26. U.S. authorities: There’s an illegal migrant health crisis at the border
By Jeff Dunetz December 28, 2018

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents are calling for medical help from the CDC, Coast Guard, and Pentagon to screen illegal immigrants, and they’ve asked American and Mexican disease specialists to investigate the surge of sick migrants caught at the border, after another illegal immigrant child died in U.S. custody. None of those steps will solve the illegal alien health crisis that few people are talking about.

  27. An illegal alien, a dead legal alien, and a liberal mayor with no regrets
By Ben Bowles December 29, 2018

The cast of characters in this newest morality play are: Gustavo Perez Arriaga, an illegal alien and gang member from Mexico who shot and killed a Newman, Calif. police officer the day after Christmas; Corporal Ronil Singh, his victim; and Oakland, Calif., Mayor Libby Schaaf, who in February warned illegals in her city of an impending ICE raid she had learned about.

Schaaf’s connection to Singh and Arriaga, a repeat DUI offender and now murderer, is tenuous — Newman and Oakland are 89 miles apart — but it is also painfully real. In March, we learned that three of the 800 illegal aliens who evaded ICE’s enforcement sweep thanks to Schaaf’s tip, went on to commit new crimes, including robbery, spousal abuse, and drunken driving. The last of these coincidentally was the reason Officer Singh pulled over Arriaga, who already had racked up two DUI convictions.

Here’s another irony: On Dec. 26, mere hours after Singh was shot down in cold blood by an illegal alien, BuzzFeed ran an interview with Schaaf in which she said she

  31. EUREKA, Calif. — The organizers of the annual Women’s March have decided not to hold a rally in Eureka on Jan. 19, as previously planned, because they say participants do not represent the diversity of the area.

“This decision was made after many conversations between local social-change organizers and supporters of the march,” organizers said in a press release.

They said organizers will continue to meet and discuss how to broaden representation to create an event that represents Humboldt County.

“Up to this point, the participants have been overwhelmingly white, lacking representation from several perspectives in our community,” the press release went on to say. “Instead of pushing forward with crucial voices absent, the organizing team will take time for more outreach. Our goal is that planning will continue and we will be successful in creating an event that will build power and community engagement through connection between women that seek to improve the lives of all in our community.”

  32. Bombshell: New Info Says Khashoggi Was A Foreign Influence Agent
Jamal Khashoggi’s op-eds published in the very influential Washington Post certainly qualify as attempts to change U.S. policy against Saudi Arabia and in favor of the Muslim Brotherhood.
    Jim Hanson By Jim Hanson
    DECEMBER 27, 2018
The Washington Post has caused itself a major scandal since it has come to light they and their martyred “reformer” Jamal Khashoggi were publishing anti-Saudi propaganda for Qatar. They tried to bury this in a pre-Christmas Saturday news dump, but that can’t stop the damage this will do to their reputation.

“Text messages between Khashoggi and an executive at Qatar Foundation International show that the executive, Maggie Mitchell Salem, at times shaped the columns he submitted to The Washington Post, proposing topics, drafting material and prodding him to take a harder line against the Saudi government,” the Post wrote December 21.

The Post says they were unaware of this, although Khashoggi’s Qatar connections were well known. They will have to answer for what is either incompetence in connecting these dots or simply not caring as Khashoggi’s attacks on President Trump and the Saudis fit right in with their narrative. The Qatar Foundation denies they were paying him to produce the anti-Saudi material.

  34. UK Welcomes Extremists, Bans Critics of Extremists
    by Douglas Murray
    December 29, 2018 at 5:00 am

In November, it was reported that the Pakistani Christian mother of five, Asia Bibi, was unlikely to be offered asylum by the British government due to concerns about “community” relations in the UK. What this means is that the UK government was worried that Muslims of Pakistani origin in Britain may object to the presence in the UK of a Christian woman who has spent most of the last decade on death row in Pakistan, before being officially declared innocent of a trumped-up charge of “blasphemy”.

One person who has had no trouble being in London is Dr Ataollah Mohajerani, Iran’s former Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance. Mohajerani is best known for his book-length defence of the Ayatollah Khomeini’s fatwa against the British novelist Salman Rushdie.

This week we learned that the UK government has allowed in a man called Brahim Belkaid, a 41-year old of German origin, believed to have inspired up to 140 people to join al-Qaeda and ISIS. His Facebook messages have included messages with bullets and a sword on them saying, “Jihad: the Only Solution”.

  35. The American left has perfected the art of changing the meaning of words or phrases. For example, gun confiscation is reshaped to now mean “sensible gun safety measures.” White male now means privileged. Republican and racist are now interchangeable words. Voter ID laws for fair and clean elections means voter suppression to liberals. Moreover, political violence—torching buildings and bludgeoning innocent Americans on the street is now synonymous in their lexicon, as a peaceful protest.

The American left has struggled for a long time dealing with another term: liberal. Conservatives were successful at demonizing the term when George H.W. Bush labeled his presidential opponent, Michael Dukakis as a card-carrying liberal. The term turned into a political pejorative and liability, so they went back in time and now proudly refer to themselves as Progressives. They are counting on people not researching the history about the founders of the Progressive movement.

Liberals have become skillful in revisionist history about their Party’s past, bamboozling voters along the way. They skillfully separated black people from their history ignoring the fact that the Democratic Party was the party of slavery whom pre-civil war fought hard in Congress to uphold the ugly institution. They ignore the reality that the Democratic Party opposed the Civil Rights and Voting Rights Acts of the 1960s. They want voters to forget that the Ku Klux Klan was their fighting force during the post-reconstruction and Jim Crow era that enforced southern Black Codes. They are hoping voters never learn the Klan’s mission was to maintain white supremacy by violence and threats against newly freed blacks and Republicans. They hope voters are too intellectually lazy to research and discover it was the Republican Party that was founded on the principle of ending slavery and later pushed for and passed the Civil Rights and Voting Rights Act.

The Democrats’ love affair with the idea of a bigger role for government in the lives of Americans was spawned in the Progressive movement of 1890 to 1920—a period that saw an increase in social activism. The architects of Progressivism were the leading college and university so-called intellectuals of that time.

As proud as Democrats are with the term Progressives, they don’t tell voters that the Progressive ideology architects were racist to their very core, who ignored the plight of blacks and were eugenicists

Hundreds of people have fled the fishing town of Baga after the militants overran it on Wednesday night, the residents said.

The militants seized weapons from a military base, and torched a naval base on the shores of Lake Chad, they said.

“THE migrant crisis in the Channel was declared to be a “major incident” by Home Secretary Sajid Javid last night – as two more small inflatable boats were intercepted.

Mr Javid’s intervention came as the number of migrants trying to enter the UK since Christmas approached 100. Overall, some 300 migrants have attempted to cross the world’s busiest shipping strait on flimsy boats since the start of November. The Home Secretary has sought to take personal control of the crisis by appointing a “Gold Commander” to provide daily updates.

Mr Javid also indicated he would boost patrols to catch migrants attempting to enter the UK. And he demanded urgent talks with French counterpart Christophe Castaner. Tory MPs have queried why so many migrants have been able to leave French shores.

Traffickers are charging immigrants up to £5,000 to make the perilous crossing.

David Wood, a former head of immigration enforcement at the Home Office, said Border Force boats have become a “taxi service” for desperate migrants.

He added: “There will be a hue and cry when a boat full of 12 migrants sinks and they die.”

The Home Office said last night: “The Home Secretary has insisted the Home Office treats the situation as a major incident. He has appointed a Gold Commander and asked for daily updates…”
