  1. Being facetious, few people know that Hungarians invented political correctness. To this day the expression “I kiss your hand,” is still used when a man addresses an older woman. There are many, many age-old salutations dependent upon status, gender and age. Somehow, however, I find it difficult to imagine language police having the same success with Hungarians as they do in the west. I can’t really put my finger on why. Just a hunch. This is for all youz snowflakes out in TV land:
