  2. I can’t think of any author that would write something this twisted, this is so unreal that I am now wondering what hallucinogenic substance has been slipping into my medicine.

    Is this enough to trigger a vote of no confidence and trigger a new election?

    • Naw, Canadians seem quite satisfied as long as they have enough beer and hockey. And halal shawarmas.

      Clearly, you haven’t read “Naked Lunch” by William Burroughs.

      Regardless, I agree. All of this has a quasi-psychedelic air to it.

      How anyone is able to pretend that this is reality stretches the imagination.

      • I could never get through the first chapter of any of William Burroughs work. Just didn’t catch my interest.

        • The book, Junkie, was readable. Also he has a decent scene where he sort of plays himself in the movie, Drugstore Cowboys.
