    “Children from white working class families can the “lack the aspiration and drive” of migrant communities, the Chief Inspector of schools has said.

    Amanda Spielman said that schools in white working class areas tend to get worse inspection reports, adding that this “shouldn’t surprise us”.

    She cited analysis from the Department for Education (DfE) which showed that schools in these areas struggle to recruit teachers and have challenges with capacity.

    Speaking on Thursday at the Wellington College Festival of Education in Berkshire, Ms Spielman said there is “no doubt” that schools in white working class communities have a “harder job to do than others”.

    She told delegates: “We can’t pretend that Ofsted judgements are not lower in certain areas – many of them with a high proportion of white working class children.

    “But that shouldn’t surprise us. Over the past few years, there has been a long overdue debate about white working class communities in England, and why they have fallen behind.”

    She went on: “We are having to grapple with the unhappy fact that many local working class communities have felt the full brunt of economic dislocation in recent years, and, perhaps as a result, can lack the aspiration and drive seen in many migrant communities.”

    Her predecessor, Sir Michael Wilshaw, also spoke at separate conference event about the negative attitude towards education that can be prevalent in white British families.

    He said families can let their children down if they “allow their children to do what they like in school, don’t support the behaviour policy, don’t read to their children, don’t care for them, don’t love them”.

    Sir Michael said that parents who “don’t care a monkey’s about their child’s education” should be fined if they failed to turn up to parents’ evening.

    “The reason why London schools are doing so well, apart from good teachers, is that a lot of the immigrant families care about education, they value education, they support their children,” he said.

    “I’m working in parts England with white British populations where parents don’t care. Or a lot of them don’t care. And the head teachers tell me that less than 50 per cent turn up to parents’ evening. Now that’s outrageous.””

        • If you are listening to Bongino the last few days he has been warning the left to stop poking the bear, he is telling them that they are pissing off people who will take violence up several orders of magnitude more then the left knows exists. I don’t think they are smart enough to take the warning or if some of them think that after the first time we fight back they can shame everyone to stop fighting? I do know that once the push back starts the left and the groups thinking they have found an easy target are going to discover how Europe managed to conquer the world and hold it until internal problems caused them to pull back to their home nations. I don’t think they will pull back a second time.

          • If my suspicions are correct about the Las Vegas shooting are correct there are some on the left who know or think they know what being hard is all about most of their followers (snowflake SJW types) have no idea and probably won’t live long enough to learn. They don’t understand that once the rule of law is destroyed there are no longer any restrictions to what the conservatives can co to defend themselves. The fear of the reactions of the Center and Right once the rules are gone may be the reason so many retired police types are calling for restraint until we discover if the DOJ is capable of cleaning up their own house. Personally I think it is too late for that and that the restraint they are calling for is just making the left bolder. If we get a Special Counsel to take out several of the Deep State layers at the DOJ we may be able to prevent the civil war, I doubt it will work but the restraint that is being urged isn’t working.

            To continue, that’s the time frame for when things go all pear-shaped throughout The Continent. Even the slightest risk of those European nuclear devices falling into adversarial hands—be they Islamic, Communist, or just your everyday garden variety of monster-raving-loony—whichever of those supposed “options” is irrelevant as all of them represent a “Hobson’s Choice” for the West.

            Die or die fighting. Big choice. Eh?

            If the Caucasian race has any last lonely neurons left that can be synaptically rubbed together, then the European “festivities” will start a lot sooner than later. As with any “party” ever planned, the butcher’s bill caterer’s tab only balloons when (not “if”) short notice is involved.

            Why is it that Western powers must continually relearn this most basic, time honored, and utterly shopworn strategic lesson?

            As in, each new conflict is approached with the sort of mentality about troops and matériel that were garnered from whatever previous major war.

            Rarely do “Next Generation” or even just ‘State-of the-Art’ potentialities enter into consideration. This perpetual shortsightedness ends up KILLING the flower of America’s (and the Caucasian race’s) youth while putting another colorful row of “fruit salad” on the chests of brass hats at the JCoS (Joint Chiefs of Staff) and the Pentagon’s innermost ring.

            This military careerism, just like modern political careerism (which fatally poisons BOTH of these precious institutions), is eroding America’s, once-highly- prized moral high ground in irreparable ways.

            The Free World’s beacon of Liberty and Freedom cannot withstand having the precision, concentrically focused (Constitutional) Fresnel lens of its priceless, moral navigational lighthouse lacquered up with the soot and grime of inattentive Liberal hangers-on who couldn’t give a rusty dü¢k about genuine Freedoms.

            The fate of these Moral Malingerers™ can be (endlessly) debated at whatever later time. The need to neutralize them and permanently HALT their intentional undermining of Western Civilization cannot happen too soon.

            Western Civilization cannot possibly survive the collusion of actively participating termites that have ZERO compunction about undermining over TWO CENTURIES of supremely constructive philosophy.

            Instead, we are forced to worry about the potential success of utterly anti-American entities that do not deserve to operate on American soil. CAIR, anyone?

    “Syrian activists say government forces are keeping up their pressure on the country’s strategic southwest, using artillery, airstrikes and barrel bombs to target rebel-held parts of the region.

    The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says government helicopters have dropped more than 12 barrel bombs in the province of Daraa so far on Friday. It’s the first use of the rudimentary and non-discriminatory weapons in the region in over a year.

    Last July, the United States, Russia and Jordan negotiated a truce for the region, which borders Jordan and the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

    The calm began to unravel in recent weeks, prompting U.S warning of “serious repercussions” for truce violations. Washington didn’t elaborate.

    The Observatory said 16 people have been killed in government strikes since Tuesday, including nine children.”

    Speaking at the unveiling of a monument commemorating victims of the Soviet occupation of Hungary, the Fidesz leader told listeners it was vital to remember “the continent-sized prison world of the Gulag: the lowest circles of Hell, where the rate of mortality sometimes reached 80 per cent – due to frost, hunger, ten, twelve or fourteen hours of hard physical labour every day, overcrowding, the lack of medical care and the brutality of guards”.

    He took aim at those in Western Europe who “extolled Communism even after millions had perished under the heel of red dictatorships”, and lamented the fact that “to this day, the European Left continues to see Communism and its crimes in a peculiar, blurred light”.

    He added: “In the minds of a number of European politicians, the statues of Communist leaders are still standing,” — a thinly veiled rebuke to EU President Jean-Claude Juncker for his decision to praise Karl Marx at the unveiling of a statue honouring his memory, donated by the Chinese Communist Party.

    “We know that there is no such thing as a communist regime with a human face: the true face of communism is the Gulag,” said Orbán.

    “The democratic Italian election did not reflect Brussels’ preference, and in response there were some who said that the markets would teach the Italians how to vote,” referring to remarks by Angela Merkel’s representative to Juncker’s European Commission, Hans Oettinger, when it looked as though the Italian people would be forced to vote again in the recent elections.

    He also noted continued efforts to prevent his own government from fulfilling its election promises to clamp down on illegal immigration and its facilitation by so-called ‘civil society’ NGOs.

    “Next year will be the one-hundredth anniversary of the 133 days of the Red Terror, which broke out in the devastated shell of a Hungary bled dry in the First World War and dismembered by wanton soldiers of fortune,” he concluded.

      Much like Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s, “The Giant Rat of Sumatra”—in the most unvarnished sorts of terms—Orban tells EU apparatchiks and the planet: “A story for which the world is not yet ready“.

      The Visegrad Group is about five to ten years out in front of Western Europe. Right now, many EU residents are simply incapable of processing such “un-predigested” information of the sort that Orban treats as everyday common sense (a most uncommon commodity in these modern times).

      The only problem being that Europe barely has five years left, much less ten. V4 nations just only managed to pull up the ladders in time—even as EU loons continue to nail them in place with grim determination (a single glance at Angela Merkel’s face defines, “grim”).

      Just as with Islam’s “bloody borders”, proximity to Immigrant Engines™ like Syria—and North African conduits like Libya and Tunisia—will drive intense (if not violent) political polarization in these bordering nations as populist groups are brutally suppressed, despite how their ranks will continue to swell.

      This is a classic “unstoppable force meets an immovable object” scenario. The smartest Europeans will not flee their homeland (i.e., remain immovable) and, instead, rid itself of the ticks, lice, fleas, scabies, and mange that currently infest its once sleek and elegant coat.

    “London’s most central railway terminal was shut for over an hour Friday morning as police responded to what they later described as a “bomb hoax”.

    British Transport Police said they arrested a 38-year-old man under the Mental Health Act after he was found on the tracks claiming to have a bomb. No weapons or explosives were found.

    Both the London Underground and rail stations at Charing Cross were evacuated as police responded to the incident, which was reported at 6:35 a.m. (0535 GMT) Friday. No one was injured in the incident and the station has now been re-opened…..

    The apparent hoax comes amid a period of heightened security in the United Kingdom, which has seen multiple terror attacks both realised to deadly effect, and prevented by security forces in recent years. Ongoing at the Old Bailey court in London are the trials of Khalid Mohammed Omar Ali, an alleged radical Muslim bomb maker who was arrested near parliament carrying knives, Mohiussunnath Chowdury, who was caught carrying a sword near Buckingham Palace, and Zakariyah Naa’Imur Rahman who was accused of a plot to bomb Downing Street.”

  11. The Positive Death Movement Comes to Life

    Death cafes, death doulas, ‘Ask a Mortician,’ DeathLab — once the province of goth subculture, death is having a moment in the sun.

    It was the party of a lifetime, and Shatzi Weisberger wouldn’t have missed it for the world. After all, it was her funeral. Or, as she pronounced it, her FUN-eral.

    And so it was that a hundred or so people gathered in the common room of an Upper West Side apartment building recently to eat, sing, mingle and hear Ms. Weisberger’s thoughts about death and dying.

A biodegradable cardboard coffin in one corner bore handwritten messages in colored marker: “Go Shatzi! (but not literally)”; “death is only the beginning”; “Shatzi, many happy returns … as trees, as bumble bees, as many happy memories.”

    “A crazed 30-year-old man was arrested in the French city of Tours after he attempted to stab random people with a knife on a bridge while yelling “Allahu Akbar”.

    On Wednesday, a shirtless man had attempted to stab several random passersby crossing the pont de Fil, a pedestrian bridge that crosses the Loire river, as well as try to throw a man in his 60s off the bridge before police intervened, French broadcaster France Bleu reports.

    When police arrived on the scene, following panic from the pedestrians in the area, the man demanded that the officers shoot him while he yelled “Allahu akbar”.

    Police took the 30-year-old into custody and are still investigating a possible motive for the incident as the man is said not be on the French terror watchlist, known in France as the S-File…”

  14. Aid Workers at Soros-Funded MSF Accused of ‘Trading Medicine for Sex’, Using Prostitutes in Africa (breitbart, Jun 22, 2018)

    “Aid workers at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) traded medicine for sex with vulnerable young women in Africa, former employees of the open borders-backing NGO have alleged.

    Whistleblowers told the BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire programme Thursday that the use of prostitutes by staff at the George Soros-funded foreign aid NGO was “blatant and widespread”.

    One of the female former employees, who were speaking anonymously for fear of being blacklisted by aid charities, reported seeing a senior member of staff bringing “very young girls” back to MSF accommodation in Kenya, adding that it was “implicit” they were prostitutes.

    “My colleague, who was staying in the same residence for a long time, felt that this was a regular occurrence,” she said.

    Another whistleblower reported she was shocked after hearing a senior aid worker boast it was “so easy” swapping medicinal supplies for sex while stationed in Liberia.

    “I thought, ‘what did he just say?’ He was suggesting lots of the young girls who had lost their parents in the Ebola crisis that they would do anything sexual in exchange for medication,” she told the BBC.

    Commenting on whether MSF was aware of allegations that staff were using prostitutes, one former worker said she believes the organisation has a blind spot regarding “some of the older guys … [who have been at the NGO] for a long time and took advantage of their exalted status as a Western aid worker”.

    “It could have been that senior management wasn’t aware of it, but there’s definitely a feeling that certain men who behave in that predatory manner are seen as too big to fail,” she said…”

  15. Almost All Malmö Shooting Victims Members of Criminal Gangs (breitbart, Jun 22, 2018)

    “Victims of the mass drive-by shooting in multicultural Malmö earlier this week were all known to police and many of them were gang members, new evidence has confirmed.
    Three men were shot dead and another three injured outside of an internet cafe in the heavily migrant-populated city on Monday at around 8 pm.

    Initial speculation surrounded the motive for the attack, but the newly released information has confirmed suspicions that the shooting was part of the growing amount of criminal gang violence plaguing Sweden, SVT reports.

    The three men killed in the attack were aged 19, 27, and 29 and through some background information has been released, their names were not published by the Swedish public broadcaster.

    The 19-year-old was known to police but had no criminal record. The 27-year-old, however, had been previously convicted of drug offences and violent criminality having served an eight-month prison sentence. He was known to have prior judgements for other drug crimes, as well.

    The 29-year-old, who was the brother of the 27-year-old, was also convicted of drug offences and served a two-month sentence in prison.

    None of the three fatally shot were the intended target of the gunman, according to investigators. The target, a 21-year-old who was only slightly injured, was recently arrested for assaulting a police officer and had been arrested in the past for murder, attempted murder, and abuse but was acquitted of the charges in court.

    The 21-year-old has been convicted of other crimes including several robberies and drug offences.

    A source told SVT that they feared the 21-year-old would strike back against those who tried to kill him.     The impetus for the multi-year move is getting the NSA’s data, including signals intelligence and other foreign surveillance and intelligence information it ingests from multiple repositories around the globe into a single data lake analysts from the NSA and other IC agencies can run queries against.

    Although the Swedish police have admittedly invested additional resources into fighting crime, Palsgård doesn’t believe the problem is being taken seriously enough in the higher echelons of the system.

    “The worst thing is that I do not believe there is actually any sort of political will to do something about it. In Denmark, you have fervent debates especially on social media, and then it all ends up finding a kind of common footing and getting things done. This does not happen in Sweden, and it’s frustrating,” Palsgård said.

    According to Swedish police, hardened criminals were hit in the Monday shooting. Eyewitnesses reported automatic weapons being fired in front on an Internet café in central Malmö.

    ?In recent months, shooting has become a fixture of Malmö’s daily life. The most recent case involves a 25-year-old man with suspected ties to gangland crime who was shot on Thursday night.

    A 2017 report identified around 5,000 gang criminals and 200 criminal networks prowling 61 “vulnerable areas” in the nation’s largest cities. Malmö has three such areas, and the local police keep an eye on over 200 people with gang affiliations amid thinly-stretched resources. Meanwhile, the total number of shootings in Sweden has increased five-fold in the past twelve years.

    Malmö is Sweden’s third-largest city with a population of 330,000. It lies opposite Copenhagen across the Øresund Bridge and is seen as part of a huge Swedish-Danish agglomeration stretching over both sides of the Øresund straight and home to four million.

  38. Germany: Major police op. removes protesters outside Darmstadt deportation facility

    Some 40 protesters staged a blockade outside of a deportation facility in Darmstadt in the early hours on Friday, resulting in a large police operation to remove them.

    “At around 6:30 this morning [4:30 GMT] the workers of the deportation detention facility noticed that a bunch of people had positioned themselves around the facility. They notified the police, and a large police operation was carried out,” said Bernd Hochstadter, Press spokesman of South Hesse Police.

    Footage shows the protesters being led, or often carried away by police.

    Hochstadter also said it appeared to have something to do with the deportation of an Ethiopian national, and that the police “arrested about 40 people, and an identity verification is being made, and in this context we are examining whether an offence of a breach of the peace has been committed.”

Literalizing the clichéd punch line of a thousand gags––“Will no one think of the children!!!” ––the Dems are hyperventilating about the illegal alien parents and their children being separated upon detention, as the law requires. Once again, we see how much “conspicuous compassion,” as Alan Bloom called it, has become a weapon of politics, one that damages our security and interests.

    In this case, the disconnect between fact and spin is more glaring than usual. No matter that ICE and Homeland Security are working within the constraints of court rulings and the law that Congress passed and can change any time. No matter that often it’s impossible to certify that the detained adults are the actual parents, or that human traffickers aren’t using this dodge to enter the country with their prey. No matter that the alternative is to turn these poorly vetted illegal aliens loose (as Obama did, as a form of de facto amnesty), merely on their word that they will show up for a hearing. No matter that across the country, Child Protective Services are “ripping children from their parents’ arms,” as are the children of those arrested on suspicion of a crime. Do we set a criminal suspect free on his own recognizance just because he’s accompanied by his kid?

    No matter. Fact, common sense, and law must cede to politics, which these days comprises a deep, pathological hatred of Donald Trump, the Emmanuel Goldstein of the Democrats’ 24/7 “Two Minutes Hate.” “Compassion” is just another weapon of that hate.

    Turkey received its first two F-35 fighter jets on Thursday. The Muslim nation and NATO partner has ordered 100 of the aircraft. Lockheed Martin conducted a rollout ceremony at Fort Worth, Texas to commemorate the milestone. From there, the two jets will follow-on to Luke Air Force Base in Arizona where they will pair up with Turkish pilots and maintenance personnel for what a Pentagon spokesman described as “flight academics.”

    Despite the rollout, it could take more than a year before the planes are sent to Turkey. This is due to the extensive training period Turkish pilots and support personnel will be required to undergo while in the United States.

    The F-35 is a fifth generation fighter-bomber equipped with highly advanced avionics and stealth properties. Much of the technology incorporated into the F-35 is top secret. Russia and China have also developed fighter planes incorporating stealth technology stolen from the United States. But despite the theft, experts consider the F-35 to be far superior to the Russian and Chinese models.

    The transfer of sensitive technology to Turkey has rankled members of Congress, who are disturbed by the unhinged actions and statements of its president, Recep Tayyip Erdo?an. Senate lawmakers have sought to stop the sale citing Turkey’s unlawful detention of American pastor, Andrew Brunson, on trumped up terrorism charges, and Turkey’s pending acquisition of Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missiles, which are not compatible with NATO platforms. Some lawmakers have questioned whether Turkey can be trusted to safeguard the F-35’s technology and raised the disquieting prospect of Turkey allowing the Russians to have access to the plane.

    Germany’s immigration policy under Chancellor Angela Merkel is under attack again, this time from within her own government. There is however another wrinkle to the immigration story, it is the case of Muslim migrant attacks against Jews in Germany. The recent rape and murder of a Jewish girl named Susanna Maria Feldman, 14, from the city of Mainz, in Western Germany, by a 19-year Muslim migrant, that Merkel enthusiastically admitted into Germany, stirred the country, and raised further questions about the open-door immigration policy of Merkel’s government.

    Angela Merkel’s coalition government may be torn apart on the issue of immigration. Horst Seehofer, leader of the Christian Social Union (CSU), the Bavarian conservative party, has pledged to reverse Chancellor Merkel’s open-door policy toward migrants. Germany has absorbed 1.4 million migrants since 2015, the vast majority of them being Muslims from Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Seehofer, the Interior Minister in Merkel’s coalition government is concerned by the rise of the anti-immigrant party Alternative for Germany (AfD) whose success in the polls, and its surprise showing in the 2017 election (capturing 12.6% of the votes) may now threaten the supremacy of his party in Bavaria. State elections in Bavaria are scheduled for October this year. For now, Merkel and Seehofer have agreed to wait for a resolution to the immigrant issue at next week’s European Union (EU) summit in Brussels.

  47. The body of a 28-year-old female hitchhiker from Germany has been found in Spain following the arrest of a Moroccan truck driver believed to have been involved in her murder.
    German Sophia Lösche went missing on the 14th of June after she got in a truck while attempting to hitchhike from Leipzig to Amberg in Bavaria, according to investigators. Her body was found Thursday evening near a petrol station just outside the Spanish city of Bilbao, Bavarian tabloid Tz reports.

    Earlier this week, police arrested a 40-year-old truck driver in Spain in connection with the young woman’s disappearance who some in the German media claimed was a Moroccan national.

    The finding of the woman’s body came after the 40-year-old allegedly admitted to placing her body near a petrol station. The body was said to have evidence of violence and burn marks when police discovered it.

    “I left because I felt imprisoned in this country, I felt dirty and deadly, an accomplice for the killings and the humiliations of Muslims worldwide,” the young woman wrote.

    Senouci also shared that the debate surrounding the Quebec government’s proposed Charter of Values, which sought to ban public sector employees from wearing religious symbols such as the hijab, solidified her feelings of being marginalized and being unwelcome in her own society.

  50. U.S. military pilots have been repeatedly targeted with troublesome-yet-nonlethal lasers in the East China Sea in recent months, U.S. defense officials told The Daily Caller News Foundation Thursday, confirming several earlier reports.

    More than 20 incidents have been reported since September 2017, with the most recent occurring within the past few weeks. These incidents follow alarming reports of Chinese military personnel harassing U.S. pilots with military-grade and commercial lasers in the small East African country of Djibouti, where China has a military base located just down the road from a strategically significant U.S. base.

    The East China Sea incidents were reportedly carried out “from a range of different sources both ashore and from fishing vessels,” Indo-Pacific Command explained to Aviation Week. The East China Sea is a global hotspot where Chinese civilian and military vessels regularly operate. While defense officials revealed that some reported laser dazzling incidents involved Chinese-flagged fishing vessels, there is uncertainty concerning whether or not Chinese nationals were behind all of the laser-involved events.

    Unlike the serious incidents in Djibouti, there have been no reported injuries in the East China Sea. U.S. defense officials, in conversations with TheDCNF, characterized the incidents as “an annoyance,” stressing that these incidents were not attacks, as they involved commercial laser pointers. Nonetheless, such devices could still temporarily blind a pilot or damage the eye, The Wall Street Journal explained.
